Chapter 10

The week flew by quit quickly if you ask me. It's Saturday today, and my friends are coming over later today. Lee came with me to work like he did on Tuesday and we both ate lunch together. The days I didn't work, which was Thursday, we spent the whole day under the blankets of my bed, having a movie marathon of the extended editions of Lord of the Rings. I think it was during the credits of the movie when we both ended up sleeping on the same bed. We woke up the next morning and the menu of the movie was still on. We also then realised that we were tangled up in each other's arms. But for once, we didn't find it awkward. We then walked Wolf to the park, like every Friday evening after dinner.

Right now, I have the blankets over my head as I lay on my stomach. I stick my hands out of the blanket and feel my bedside table for my phone. After a few minutes of finding my phone, I realise that it wasn't there. I lift the blanket up to see my phone is on the floor. I grumble and pick it up before hiding under the blankets. Today is a very cold day. I am freezing. I check the weather to find its 9 degrees outside. I then go onto Twitter and scroll through my feed. I then see Lee had tweeted 5 minutes ago. It was a selfie of him, under the blankets like me. It then said: It's freezing over here this morning!

I laugh, I guess I'm not the only one freezing under the blanket. I decided to text Lee, even though he is across the hall from me.

Me: Morning Bear!

Lee: Morning Roo!

Me: I saw your tweet just then 😂

Lee: Oh? Well it's freezing!

Me: Well I thought I was the only one hiding under the covers

Lee: Sad we have to get up soon, your friends are coming over

Me: I know

Lee: I am going to attempt to get up and run over to your room

Me: Good luck

I laugh as I can hear the door being opened. I then feel the other side of the bed weighing down. Then the blankets are ripped off me and leaves me chattering.

"Hey! You took my warmth away!" I attempt grabbing the blanket back.

Lee got under the blanket and the pulled my close to him before pulling it over our heads.

"Now I feel warm!" He snuggles closer to me, his arms around my waist and my back against his chest.

"Well this is one way to warm up" I laugh, wriggling around to face him.

"Well now it's getting a little too warm under here" he lifts the blanket off our heads but leaves it up to our chins. Well my chin because if it was up to his chin, it would be over my head.

"Well I know another way of warming up" he smirks down at me.

"And what would that be?" I raise my eyebrows.

"This" he leans down and captures my lips with his. At first it was slow, then he pulled me closer to deepen the kiss. We kissed for a long time, I don't know how long until we were disturbed with my phone.

We pull apart, out of breath and I grab my phone, wondering who would disturb my peace. Wriggle back around so my back is against Lee's chest and I grab my phone off the bed side table. I can feel Lee burying his face in my hair as I check who the caller is.

"Hello?" I ask, answering the call.

"Hey!" Of course, it's Keely.

"Oh hey Keels."

"Hey, so we are coming over earlier because we basically have nothing to do." She says.

"Oh, well okay. Well I'm not even ready. I'm still in bed because it's so cold today."

"Oh, then when we arrive, we will get you out of bed ourselves!" She laughs.

"Oh no thank you! I am getting up right now!" I end the call there and put my phone back on the table.

As soon as I turn back to Lee, he crashes his lips on mine and we share a passionate kiss. But that didn't last long either because Wolf came barging through the bedroom door and jumped on the bed.

"Wolf!" I laugh as I sit up. Wolf jumps onto me and excitedly attacks me with his tongue. Wolf then turns to Lee.

"No, no. stay with mummy! Wolf! " Lee covers his face with his hands. Wolf didn't listen and pounced on top of Lee. I laughed as Lee was attacked with licks to the face. I laughed even harder as they both fell off the bed.

"I give up! Wolf!" Lee raises his hands in surrender and Wolf sits on top of Lee's chest, his tail wagging.

I lean over the edge of the bed. "How's it going down there?"

"Great" Lee states sarcastically.

I laugh and so does he as I push Wolf off of his chest. Lee then climbs back onto the bed and pulls me into his chest. Wolf jumps onto the bed again and lays on our legs. We all lay like that for a long time until we end up falling asleep.

I wake up to an annoying thing. It keeps tickling my face. I slap it, but failed miserably as I end up slapping my own face. I then hear a chuckle and I open my eyes to see Lee with a huge grin on his face. I frown and slap his arm.

"Morning, again." I say.

"You mean afternoon?" he raises his eyebrows.

"What!?" I exclaim, turning over to check my phone. He was right, it was afternoon and Keely and Molly are coming over in 30 minutes.

"Oh shit! They are coming soon!" I tell him.

"I know!" he states.

"Why didn't you wake me up, I need to shower!" I toss the blankets off but instantly regret it as the cold air hit my skin. I grab the blankets again and curl up against Lee.

He laughs "You looked to peaceful and beautiful to wake up."

I blush and bury my head in his chest. "No I'm not"

"I'll prove it then." He lifts my head up by my chin and kisses me. I feel his hand move to the back of my neck to pull me closer. I reach up and weave my hand through his hair. I then remember my friends and I break the kiss. Lee pouts and gives me puppy dog eyes.

"I would love to continue Lee but you know I have friends coming over soon" I untangle myself from him.

"Aw!" He pulls me back down. "Not letting you go, ever!"

"Lee" I laugh, as I attempt to wiggle out of his grip.

"Kyla" he whines. He begins to place butterfly kisses all over my face.

"Lee stop!" But he doesn't listen and begins to tickle me.

I begin laughing non-stop as Lee is now hovering over me and tickling me.

"Lee. Can't breathe! Stop!" I laugh out as he laughs as well.

He stops but is still looking down at me with a smirk. I wrap my arms around his neck and I pull him down, kissing him passionately.

I then pull away and push him off me. He lands on the other side of the bed with an 'oof'. I walk to the bathroom and locking the door.

"Hey!" I hear Lee whine.

"Let me change, you should too!" I tell him.

"I could change with you in there!" he teases.

"No thanks!"

It was half an hour later, when my friends were supposed to come but they were stuck in traffic. They said they would be here in like 10 minutes. At least Lee and I were changed and had food to eat since most of the day was us fooling around. All of a sudden, the doorbell rang. I looked to Lee and he nodded. I walked to the door and opened it. I was attacked with a huge group hug.

I then see them freeze and look behind me. They let go of the hug and stare. I look behind me to see Lee leaning against the wall with a small smile on his face. He gave a little wave to them.

"Uh, guys... Meet Lee, Lee Pace. And my, uh" I looked to Lee and he nodded. "And my boyfriend"
