Chapter 4

"Mmmm that was a good dinner" Lee beams at me.

"It was, told you they make good food" I grin at him.

"I totally agree, so what's for dessert?"

"Seriously, that was a big serving mate" I look at Lee with disbelief.

"I always have room for desert" he rubs his stomach.

"Okay, what do you want?" I ask him.

"Rainbow ice cream!" He exclaims.

"Now, now, you cannot have rainbow ice cream"

"Why!" He whines.

"Because you can't have it without me!"

"But I thought you were full"

"I didn't say anything like that!" I retort.

"But, but. Oh never mind. I'm ordering ice cream" he grumbles.

I giggle as he pouts and raises his hand for the waiter. He gives me a playful glare and then turns to the waiter who is coming our way.

"May I help you?" He asks.

"Yes can I please get two rainbow ice creams?"

"Sure, no worries." He walks off and Lee turns to me with a playful glare.

"Yes?" I innocently say.

"I want most of the ice cream"

"No, half, half. That's fair." I say.

"But I love ice cream!" he whines.

"Doesn't everyone?" I ask. This causes him to pout and stare at me with huge puppy dog eyes. Now they are really hard to resist so I give in. "Alright, fine. You can have a bit of mine as well.

"Yes!" he cheers.

The ice cream arrives 5 minutes later and we both start eating it. I look to Lee to see his ice cream is already almost finished.

"Woah man, you eat fast" I look at him astonished.

"Well, I did tell you I love ice cream" He beams at me.

"True" I have finished half and gave the other half to him.

"Are you sure? I was only joking before" he asks me, but also eyeing the ice cream in front of him.

"Yeah, I'm sure. I'm full already."

Lee smiles gratefully and digs into my ice cream and finishing it within seconds.

"I'm going to quickly go to the toilet and then I will go pay" I tell him, making sure he doesn't get any ideas of paying.

"Okay, I will wait here." I eye him before slowly heading to the bathroom.

I arrive back to the table to see Lee gone and at the front entrance. I face palm. I knew I should've paid first and then went toilet. I walk up to Lee and looks down at me.

I sigh "You really shouldn't have paid you know"

"I wanted to, you are the nicest, most beautiful girl I have ever met. And one who hasn't given away my identity yet like taking a picture of me and posting it all over the social media." He says truthfully.

"Oh, uh... um. Thanks?" I stutter, heat rising rapidly to my face and me looking redder than a tomato.

"Come on, let's head out" he holds out his arm with a grin and I take it.

We walk outside and head to the car. He opens the door for me and I smile gratefully at him before hopping in. He shuts the door and heads over to the other side. Once he shuts the door, I start the car and we drive off.

"Where are we going now?" I ask as I take random turns to streets, having nowhere to go.

"Well, we could head to your house for a while" he suggests.

"Ok, my house it is." I change directions and head back to my house.

"Hey Lee?" I ask.

"Yeah?"

"Can you please open that glove box in front of you and get the remote for my garage?"

"Sure thing" he opens it and takes out the remote. "Here you go"

He passes it to me and I take it. As we turn the corner, I press the button and the garage door opens. I drive through, close the garage door and turn the car off. We both get out of the car, I grab all my bags from the back and get my keys. Lee awaits for me at the door and takes the bags from my hands.

"Thanks" I unlock the door and before I let Lee in, I warn him. "Uh, um, you should be careful when you go inside."

"Why?" he asks curiously.

"Because you may be tackled to the ground" I warn with a slight smile.

"By who?" He tilts his head to the side.

I take the bags off him and tell him with a grin "Open the door to find out"

He slowly opens the door. The whole house is dark and silent. Lee opens the door fully and steps in, cautiously looking around. I walk behind him and dump the bags on the ground. Lee shuts the door and turns to me.

"There's no one h-" he is cut off by Wolf when he tackles Lee to the ground, happily greeting him with multiple licks to the face.

I laugh and turn on the lights. "Wolf, down boy!"

Lee sat up and Wolf came back to him, sitting on his legs. Lee ruffles his fur and turns to me.

"I see why you warned me now" he laughs.

"Yeah, that happens to me all the time" I chuckle.

Lee gets up from the floor after pushing Wolf off and helps me with the bags on the floor. We dump them on the kitchen table and Lee leans against the counter top.

"Make yourself at home while I go and get changed" I tell Lee who nods before I dash off into my bedroom.

I shut my door and lock it before heading into the bathroom and taking a quick shower. I step out and wrap a towel around my body before walking into my bedroom towards the closet. I open to find my stacks of clothes in it.

"Hmmm, I have no clothes here" but in actual fact I have plenty, just not the ones I want to wear.

I then remember the other stacks of clothes shoved under my bed. I walk over to my bed and bend down to scoop up all the clothes I couldn't be bothered to hang up and look through them. I finally find the clothes I want. It's basically a black tank top that says 'I'm a majestic unicorn' in pink text and a pair of grey leggings. I shove the rest of my clothes under the bed again and throw my towel in the bathroom, hoping it wouldn't drop in the toilet and walk out of my room.

The scene before me was hilarious. I lean on the wall and watch as Lee chases Wolf around the house who has his shoe in his mouth. At first, I attempt to contain my laughter. But let me tell you that was a total fail. My laugh caught the attention of both Wolf and Lee and they both stopped to turn to me. Wolf dropped Lee's shoe which was now covered in his slobber and dashed straight over to me. I kneeled down to Wolf's height and he jumped on me, licking my face and his tail wagging. I hug him and then get up to find Lee hunched over, hands on his knees trying to catch his breath.

"Haha, some workout huh?" I smirk at him, walking over to him.

"Yeah, a very active dog, reminds me of my dog, Carl." he says, looking at his shoe.

"I should have warned you about the shoe as well. Anything Wolf finds, he will chew it up." I inform him.

"Well I will keep that in mind next time." He grins and then picks up his shoe and other shoe and places it where I put all my other shoes. His phone then rings and he picks it up. "Sorry Kyla, gotta take this call"

I nod and lead Wolf away so he won't distract Lee.
