Part 22
06:39, 14 July 2013“Save it,” I told him and stayed quiet the rest of the drive there.
When we got to Harry’s flat I help Louis carry Harry up to his place.
Once inside I told them both to sit the bathroom and there I started to clean their faces. I cleaned Louis’ first since he only had a small cut on his eyes brow then moved on to Harry.
“Ow,” Harry winded as I dabbed at his cuts.
“Shut up, if your own fault you got beat up,” I scolded. Harry pouted. I rolled my eyes with a sigh and finished him.
“Can you take me to bed?” Harry asked me.
“No,” I said and turned around throwing the tissues in the garbage.
“Dude she’s a hard ass,” Harry whispered to Louis.
“Go to bed mate. I’m gonna crash here alright?” Louis spoke gently to him.
“Dibs on the bed,” Harry shouted and quickly left the bathroom. I shook my head slightly as I washed my hands in the sink as Louis stood up. He stood behind me for a moment but soon wrapped his arms around my waist and rest his head on my shoulder.
“I’m really sorry babe,” he whispered.
“Let go of me,” I asked him calmly.
“Please don’t be mad,” he asked squeezing me tightly.
“Don’t be mad? You said nothing would happen tonight, you said it would be fun,” I shot at him trying to keep my voice down.
“At least you didn’t get hurt,” he pointed out. I raised my head looking at him in the mirror.
“Not physically,” I said. He frowned and kissed the side of my head.
“I’m sorry okay. I didn’t mean to get involved in that fight. I was just looking out of Harry and that guy threw the first punch you saw it,” he said trying to defend himself.
“Yea and I also saw a twisted smirk on your face as you beat up that guy who was probably as drunk as you and Harry,” I pointed out. I turned off the faucet and dried my hands.
“At least I won,” he offered. I turned around glaring at him.
“So what? I doesn’t impress me that you beat some random guy up,” I snapped at him. He dropped his head. I let out a sigh and rubbed my hands over my face. “Listen Louis you have to stop thinking that I’ll like the same things you do. We’re very different people. I know you like clubs and party scenes but I was so uncomfortable there,” I explained.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” he asked.
“I did but then you pulled me to go dance,” I explained again.
“I thought you were having fun. I’m sorry babe,” he said placing his hands on my waist he leaned closer to press his forehead against mine but I turned my head away and crossed my arms. “Please don’t be mad. I’ll make it up to you, I’ll date you on a normal date and we’ll have normal fun,” he told me desperately trying to get me to be happy with him again.
“Are you sure that’s what you want to do? I mean wouldn’t you be happier with someone more into your kind of scene?” I asked dully dropping my head.
“Don’t say that,” Louis said in a serious tone. He placed his hands under my chin and lifted my head to meet his gaze. “I’m happiest with you Jenn, honestly. I don’t want some slutty careless girl. I want you because you’re pure and real and you make me want to be a better person. I’m sorry I disappointed you tonight but if you give me another chance I’ll make it better,” he told me. I nodded slowly.
“Okay I’m free Sunday if wanted to do something,” I offered. He smiled and pressed his lips onto mine sweetly.
“Thank you love, thank you. I’ll plan something nice I promise,” he said. I giggled a bit and opened my arms and wrapped them around his neck. Louis wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in tightly. “Don’t give up on me,” he whispered in my ear. I tightened my grip around his neck and shook my head.
“Never,” I told him.
We pulled away and I tucked Louis into bed. I threw a blanket over him and kissed him goodnight. Before I left he tucked a 20$ bill in my hand and told me it’s for the taxi home. I kissed him passionately again. Part of me really wanted to stay and cuddle with him on the couch but as the time drew closer to 1 I knew I had to leave.
I got up and left Harry’s apartment and made my way home.
Putting up with Louis’ life style won’t always be easy but at least I know he cares enough about me to realise he’d done something wrong and is willing to do what he can to fix it.
Sunday came and I couldn’t wait to spend more time with Louis. He was like my drug at this point and I’d do anything to get my daily fix of him. I mentally told myself I had to calm down I didn’t want to turn into one of those love crazy girls that ends up getting hurt. I don’t think Louis would do that but it’s never a bad idea to stay on your guard.
I walked out of my room in a casual blue flowing sun dress. It was gorgeous outside and I had a feeling whatever Louis had planned we’d end up outside.
“Well where do you think you’re going dressed like that?” my mom asked me curiously with a grin on her face.
“Just going to see some friends, maybe hook up with a random guy,” I teased. My dad shot me a warning look but I just smiled innocently.
“Kay well be safe sweetie call if you need anything,” my mom said.
“Thanks bye,” I called to them as I left the house.
I decided to walk to Louis’ today instead of having him pick me up. He didn’t live far and I could use the exercises. I tried to suppress the smile on my face but I couldn’t I was honestly really anxious to see him again.
What was this? Was this love? Was I falling in love with him? To my surprised that thought didn’t scare me, instead it only made me smile more thinking that I might have found someone that I actually love. I couldn’t tell him though. God only knew how he really felt about me and I didn’t want to put myself out there only to be rejected.
I soon arrived at his place and I walked up to his front door and knocked.
I waited patiently and soon the door opened. I was confused at first when I wasn’t met with Louis bright smile but instead I was met with an even brighter smile by one of his younger sisters.
“Hello there Daisy,” I said looking down at her.
“Hi Jennifer,” she said enthusiastically. I chuckled a bit at her, she always had tons of energy.
“May I come in?” I asked when she just stared at me.
“Are you and Lou going to get married?” she asked me. I laughed a bit putting my hand over my heart, she was so cute.
“I don’t know why is he going to ask me to marry him?” I teased her. She shook her head.
“No but don’t people who see each other do that?” she asked innocently. I smiled at her.
“Sometimes but only when they’re much older,” I explained.
“Oh okay,” she said and opened the door more. I smiled taking a step in.
“Daisy what did mom say about letting strangers in,” Louis’ voice came as he came into view. I smiled seeing him dressed up in cut off jeans and a black band t-shirt. His hair was spiked up the way I liked it and he looked so harmless as he placed his hand on top of Daisy’ head.
“but Lou it’s your future wife,” Daisy teased taking his hand off her head. Louis chuckled a bit bending down to her.
“Oh really? Well are you going to be our pretty flower girl at our wedding?” he asked and tickled her.
“Yes of course,” she said excitedly. He kissed her cheek standing back up.
“You better go practice than,” he said to her sweetly. She smiled brightly and took off running into the house. Louis watched her shaking his head then turned to me. “Come on in,” he said taking my hand and pulling me beside him. I giggled as he pulled me into a tight hug and buried his head in my neck.
Wrapping my arms around him I inhaled the sweet smell of his cologne. I hope he never changes brands because he always smelt amazing to me.
“I missed you,” he whispered to me pulling away to look me in the eye.
“Miss you too,” I told him back and raised my hand to his face. I brushed my thumb over the already healing cut on his eyes brow. “It’s almost healed,” I pointed out. He smiled a put placing both hands on my face.
“All thanks to my sexy nurse,” he teased before pressing his lips hard against mine. I smiled into the kiss and brushed my fingers through his hair.
“Louis,” his mom’s warning voice came from down the hall. We pulled away quickly and looked at her. “PG please there’s children in the house,” she warned. Louis sighed a bit and nodded.
“Yes mum,” he said to her as she walked away. I bit my lip suppressing my smile as he turned back to me. He pecked me quickly before taking my hand and leading me further into the house. “Come I have it all set up outside,” he said.
“What do you have set up?” I asked curiously feeling my excitement fill me.
He pulled me through his screen doors and down the stairs of his back porch and onto the soft green Grass. Off to the side under a tall old tree in the shade was a large blanket. On the blanket he set up plates and cutlery and glasses with food all lined up on the sides.
My mouth dropped a bit at the site. Louis smiled down at me as I stared at what he made.
“Do you like it?” he asked almost sounding a bit nervous. I had a feeling thing was his first time doing this for a girl. I looked up at him smiling from ear to ear.
“I love it,” I whispered to him.
