Hey my babies 👋🏾Omniscient

"She's home boss," Dave heard through the phone. Rex was giving him an update on Naala.

"Keep her there Rex, I'm gonna be home soon," Dave ordered.

"Her sister is in there with her, I doubt they're leaving," Rex informed him. They wrapped up on the phone and hung up.

"Checking in on wifey?" One of the women in his section asked.

"Get off me," Dave mugged moving her hand. "Priest we gotta go man,"

Priest huffed and pushed the girl on his lap off. He leaned down and kissed her before him and Dave left the club together.

"I was enjoying her," Priest grumbled when they got into the car.

"I can tell," Dave nodded. "You're cheating on Bri?" He asked looking at him.

"Brianna never stops fucking whining," Priest complained. "She's always comparing herself to some other bitch, like why you can't do that for me," Priest mocked her.

"I'm happy Naala is never on shit like that," Dave shook his head.

"Cuz you spoil the shit out of her. If she didn't want to be with you no more, she would have to leave behind all the things you do for her," Priest answered.

"Y'all need to stop with this narrative. Naala has her own money," Dave defended her,

"But she'd rather use yours. There ain't nothing wrong with it nigga but that's why she stays with you," Priest held his hands up.

"You don't know shit. Carry on cheating on your wife and stay out of me and mines business," Dave spoke angrily.

"Whatever man, you too damn sensitive," Priest mumbled.

"Shut the fuck up. Matter of fact, find your own way home," Dave replied. He tapped Chris and told him to drop Priest off at the hotel.

"You a bitch," Priest mugged Dave,

"I'm a bitch that's about to leave you," Dave chuckled bringing out his phone. Chris sped to the hotel and waited for Priest to exit the vehicle so Dave could head to the airport.

"Bitch," Priest said getting out of the car and slamming the door.

Dave nodded and dialled Naala's number, she answered on the last ring.

"Hey," Naala spoke lightly. "How was the show?"

"It was alright, I'm back at my hotel now," Dave lied looking out of the window. "You okay?"

"Mmm, I miss you," Naala sighed, there was more to what she wanted to say but it would be too much over the phone.

"I miss you too baby, how you getting ready for tomorrow?" Dave questioned,

"I'm not. I hate birthdays, you know that," Naala replied.

"Love, are you sure you're okay? You want me to come home?" Dave said with concern. There was a long pause on the phone before Dave's ear was filled with Naala's light sniffles.

"I need you," Naala cried lightly. "But I don't want you to leave because of me,"

"What's going on? Baby stop crying," He said looking at the time. His jet was ready to leave anyway but now he was worried.

"I'm having anxiety," She answered through her tears. "I don't feel safe here without you and I'm not comfortable. My mom came by and took the kids and now I'm on my own,"

Dave asked Miani to take the kids for the night and the next day, to give them some time together alone.

"Rex and Mason are with you." Dave reasoned with her.

"You're not listening to me," Naala muttered. "I'm going to stay with my sister. You've left me in this big ass house all on my own and you're telling me Rex and Mason are with you," Naala fussed.

Dave scrunched up his face, she went from crying to cussing him out in 0.5 seconds.

"You're an idiot Amir, get off my phone," Naala hung up making him more confused.

Dave called back and Naala picked up,

"Naala what's the matter with you? I'm working, you knew I was gonna be away," Dave started on her,

"I'm not gonna take you being rude to me for no reason. You can go by your moms or stay with Naleli, I haven't locked you in the house," He finished.

"Stop shouting at me," Naala cried out, "All I mean is that I miss you and you're not here. I don't want my mom or Naleli, I want you,"

Dave started to feel bad but he didn't let that show. Naala constantly switched on him for no reason and it was becoming more prominent over the past few weeks.

"I'm your wife and I feel alone can't you just understand that?" Naala sniffed.

"I'm trying baby but I have to work," Dave answered. "You got your period yet?" He asked dropping subtle hints for her to get a test.

"No, stop trying to change the subject. Don't even bother coming home Amir, I'm serious." Naala said lowly.

"Whatchu mean? So now I can't come home?" Dave mumbled as they pulled up to the hanger.

"You clearly have something better to do. Whatever bitch your fucking out there, I hope it's worth it," Naala said, her voice breaking.

"Don't start accusing me of shit Love," Dave shook his head. "I'm about to hang up if you keep on,"

"Whatever Amir, leave me alone. Don't call me tomorrow or any day after that." Naala said hanging up once more.

"Fuck me," Dave grumbled putting his phone in his hoodie pocket.

"Princess is a handful huh?" Chris laughed unlocking the doors.

"It's like having another baby," Dave said getting out of the car.

"I won't tell her you said that," Chris chuckled. He gave the keys to the men at the hanger and then escorted Dave to the jet.

Back in Manhattan, Naala and Naleli were cuddled up watching Scandal. Naala's head was in Naleli's lap as she ran her hands through her hair.

"It's your birthday in a few hours," Naleli spoke to Naala, her eyes still on the screen.

"I don't care," Naala mumbled with her eyes closed. "And stop saying yours, it's ours," Naala added

"I've never liked birthdays, it's not my thing," Naleli replied with a shrug.

"It can be our thing," Naala answered, "We can spend the day together,"

"Is this your way of avoiding him?" Naleli questioned playing with Naala's hair.

"I keep disappointing him Leli, the one thing I'm meant to do, I can't," Naala expressed. "With Hassan it was so easy, Samar came so easily but now I can't do it,"

"When the time is right, it will happen for you both," Naleli advised. "There's no rush, stop being so hard on yourself. You're literally superwoman,"

"I'm not," Naala sighed. This was weighing on her heavy and she still hadn't gotten the results back from Dr Reece.

"You've been through enough La, if he doesn't understand that you need some time then he doesn't love you like he says he does," Naleli continued. Naala nodded and held onto her sister tighter.

"Yeah, you're right," Naala agreed. "What do you want to do tomorrow?"

"I've never done this before," Naleli said awkwardly. "We've spent our birthdays apart for most our life, I don't know what you want to do,"

"Maybe a spa day?" Naala suggested,

"You have a spa downstairs, there is no need for us to leave the house for that," Naleli laughed,

"Let's go to Cabo," Naala sat up. "I want to go to Cabo, for the day,"

"Dave said no travelling La," Naleli reminded her. Everywhere was still hot for them and travelling would draw unnecessary attention.

"He doesn't rule my life," Naala frowned deeply. "I've got the jet, let's go now,"

Naala was behaving impulsively, a sign of her being off. Probably because she was having issues with Dave.

"I'll go wherever you wanna go but talk to him first Naala," Naleli suggested. The last thing she wanted was for Naala's husband to blame her for them leaving the country.

"I'm not talking to him about nothing, we're going," Naala said firmly standing to her feet. "I'm gonna pack," She spoke leaving Naleli in the movie room.

"Do I call him or not?" Naleli mumbled to herself. "Leli do the right thing," She coached herself dialling Dave's number.

"What's happened? Is she okay?" Dave bombarded her with questions.

"Calm down weirdo," Naleli said playing with the hem of her shirt. "I was calling to tell you we're flying out,"

"To where? She doesn't need to be leaving the country Naleli," Dave responded,

"It's our birthday and she wants to spend it on vacation, I can't stop her," Naleli said carelessly.

"What country?" Dave asked. His jet hadn't left the tarmac so he would simply meet them there.

"Cabo, don't even think of turning up. She needs a break from you," Naleli ordered.

"What have I done now?" Dave huffed,

"What haven't you done? We won't be gone for long, just a night or two," Naleli shrugged standing up.

"Naleli you can't take my wife to a different country, I can't let you do that." Dave spoke. "Is she there? Lemme speak to her,"

"She's my sister, I can do whatever the hell I like," Naleli laughed.

"I'ma see y'all there because I don't know what you think this is," Dave replied. He had already signalled to the pilot and the destination had already changed.

"Why are you so irritating?" Naleli complained hanging up. Now she was regretting calling him.

"Lala," She called out leaving the movie room,

"I'm all packed," Naala said out of breath, Mason was behind her dragging all her bags.

"You were already packed," Naleli raised a brow,

"I was going, with or without you," Naala said softly, she felt like she needed this break too.

"Why do you want to go so bad?" Naleli questioned her.

"It's our 30th birthday Leli," Naala smiled brightly.

"I may have told your husband where we were going," Naleli spilled, there was no need for her to lie. Naala stopped walking and turned around.

"Why would you do that?" Naala said angrily. "You're the one always telling me to live my life and stop letting him rule me,"

"Because you're submissive. You literally let him tell you what to do." Naleli responded, with a blank look.

"No I don't. I wanted this one thing Naleli," Naala huffed dropping her bags, she didn't even want to go anymore.

"You do. He wants to move to Brooklyn, you do it. He wants another baby, you kill yourself —"

"Don't do that," Naala spoke quickly. "You know how that makes me feel, don't bring that up,"

"You need to grow the hell up Naala. I'm your sister and I love you but you can't keep expecting people to baby you through life. You are not a victim anymore, snap out of it," Naleli snapped at her.

Naala tucked her lips in and nodded, "I'll be in the car," She said walking away.

"Now I'm the bad guy," Naleli lifted her hands up in anger.

"Am I taking you home?" Mason asked Naleli opening the door for her.

"Just quickly," Naleli mumbled getting into the car beside Naala. Naala didn't even budge when Naleli sat beside her, she carried on staring out of the window.

~~

"It's room 203 boss," Mason informed Dave on the room Naala checked in to.

"Thank you," Dave said before pressing for the elevator. "Book out all the rooms on that floor and above it," He instructed Mason.

"Will do sir," Mason nodded just as the elevator doors closed. Dave had arrived in Cabo about 2 hours after the twins. He meant it when he said he was meeting them there.

Dave knocked on the door lightly and waited for her to open it. When she didn't, he took the key out of his pocket and swiped it across the door, letting himself in.

Naala was asleep with her back to the door, hence why she didn't come to the door when he knocked.

Dave focused on getting himself ready for bed, stripping out of his clothes and taking of all his chains.

When he was done, he climbed into the bed beside her and put his arms around her waist, bringing her closer. He kissed down the back of her neck softly, rubbing his hands up and down her thighs.

He shuffled down the bed and under the comforter, getting in between her legs. Kissing her thighs, he tried to wake her up slowly.

"Love?" He spoke poking her stomach. Naala stirred but she didn't wake fully.

Dave shook his head, he had no other choice. Tugging at her panties, he got them down and used his finger to trace her slit.

Naala shivered in her sleep and began to wake up, mostly in fear because she wasn't expecting anyone else in the room.

"It's just me," Dave said kissing her stomach. "Happy birthday," He added licking his lips at her.

"Stop it and get off me," Naala muttered sitting up. "Why are you here?"

"Because it's your birthday, I wasn't not going to spend it with you," Dave expressed before continue to kiss her thighs and play with her clit.

"Mmhm," Naala moaned pushing his head away. "You can't bribe me with sex,"

"So you don't want me to?" Dave asked rubbing himself against her. He pressed himself onto her but didn't go all the way in, teasing her.

"I do," Naala nodded through a moan. "Hurry up before I change my mind," She spread her legs further out.

"I wanna take my time," Dave smirked. He slid into her properly, making both of them suck in a breath.

Dave made sure to go slow but hit her spot repeatedly. "Wait," Naala moaned throwing her head back into the pillows.

"Ain't no waiting today," Dave smirked speeding up. Naala held on him with her legs wrapped around his waist tightly.

"Still got that attitude?" Dave asked holding her hands up above her head.

"No Mir I don't," Naala panted. Her eyes were rolling to the back of her head.

"I think you do," Dave answered lifting her legs up so they were on top of his shoulders.

"Oh my God," Naala cried out, tears springing from the corner of her eyes. "I'm sorry," She added.

Dave leaned down and kissed her, slipping his tongue into her mouth. Naala moaned into the kiss, before looking down to see him going in and out of her.

"You're close?" Dave asked when her legs started to shake and her moans got louder.

"Yes, right there," Naala gasped breathlessly. Dave slowed down and then sped quickly sending her into a frenzy.

"You love me?" He taunted tightening his grip on her thighs.

"I love you so much," She moaned before she came for the first time that night. Dave carried on pumping in and out of her while she came.

"Let me get on top," Naala breathed out getting up. Dave laid back and let her do her thing. At her own pace, Naala planted her feet on the bed and slid down on him,  pausing to adjust herself.

"Mmm," Naala moaned using his thighs to balance on. Dave started to match her strokes but slowly began overpowering her. Naala didn't like that, she was never in control.

"Stop," Naala panted before she started to roll her hips faster. Dave didn't stop her, he let her take control until he realised she couldn't cope any more.

He flipped them over and laid her on her back, using the head of his dick to tap against her clit before sliding back into her.

"Amir," Naala whined clutching onto the sheets beneath them. He leaned over and pulled her nipple into his mouth, gently sucking on it.

Naala felt herself growing wetter as he carried on thrusting her while paying attention to the rest of her body.

"Shit," Dave mumbled to himself. Naala could feel that he was reaching his peak from the feeling of his dick grow inside of her.

He leaned down and placed kisses all over her face moving to her ear. The mixture of his strokes and touch, caused Naala's moans to intensify.

She heard him curse in her ear before they came together, her orgasm running through her entire body.

"Happy birthday," Dave repeated kissing the side of her face. Naala smiled and brought his face down towards her,

"I still haven't forgiven you for the way you spoke to me," Naala spoke, her voice was hoarse because of the excessive moaning.

"I'm sorry," Dave told her rubbing her ass. "I didn't want to ruin the surprise. I was always coming home,"

"It made me upset," Naala stated the obvious, tracing his tattoos on chest. "Especially because there's something I need to tell you,"

"Talk to me," Dave said tiredly,

"I've been seeing Dr Reece and she's been giving me hormone pills. My egg count is low, too low to have babies naturally," Naala summed it up for him.

Dave listened carefully rubbing her back soothingly as she spoke.

"I took a pregnancy test yesterday and we're still waiting for the results. I didn't tell you because I know how much you wanted this," Naala finished closing her eyes.

"You thought I would be mad? I'm mad that you went through all this on your own. We're meant to go through shit like that together," Dave answered before yawning.

"I've got you Naala, no matter the result," He added. He kissed the top of her head repeatedly making Naala smile lightly.

"You're tired go to sleep," Naala said after hearing him yawn once more.

Dave nodded and pulled her in closer, his face nestled in her neck. "I love you," He spoke kissing her neck.

"Mmm, I love you too," Naala replied adjusting herself on his chest. She waited till his breathing slowed down,

"Bae," Naala whispered tapping his face. She tapped him several times and when she was sure he was asleep, she got out of his hold.

"Pussy put his dumb ass to sleep," Naala mumbled reaching over to grab his phone from the nightstand. She unlocked it and sat beside him, going through his messages.

Naala saw a few messages between him and Trinity, mainly her complaining that he doesn't see Mariah enough.

"Girl," Naala straight faced the screen when she read through their messages. His phone started ringing and Naala panicked.

"Hello?" She answered quickly putting the phone to her ear.

"Oh you answer his phone too," Chanel's shrill voice rang. Naala rolled her eyes and moved further away from Dave.

"What do you want?" Naala asked with attitude,

"To speak to my brother," Chanel replied with the same attitude.

"He's asleep, I can take a message?" Naala asked with fake concern.

"Y'all finished fucking and now he's sleep? You really don't respect yourself," Chanel chuckled. Naala heard background noise meaning she was with her pet, Brianna.

"Yep and when he wakes up I might fuck him so good he buys me an estate," Naala said glancing down at her nails.

"Bitch give my brother the phone," Chanel snapped at her. Naala laughed and hung up on her,

"Why hasn't he done it yet?" Naala said lowly grabbing her own phone to send Kyle a message.

"Put my phone down," Dave mumbled making Naala jump. "I thought we were working on trust," He spoke opening one eye.

"I needed it for something," Naala lied locking it.

"Sure, you not tired anymore?" Dave asked putting his arm over her waist.

"Nope," Naala said softly. "I wanna have sex," She added moving her hands down to his dick.

"Not now Love, get some sleep," Dave said closing his eyes again. He had a long day of performing and all he wanted to do right now was sleep.

"Hm," Naala huffed laying back down properly. "It's my birthday though," She turned her head to look at him.

"It's also past 3am," Dave pointed out. Naala blew out a breath and threw her hands down in anger.

"But I —" She was cut off by his loud snore filling the room. She mugged the side of his face for about 2 minutes till she realised he wasn't going to wake up.

Out of frustration, she closed her own eyes and forced herself to sleep.

~~

"How the hell the whole car blow up Chanel?" Dave said angrily into the phone causing Naala to stir.

"You're so careless, I'll send you something later," Dave said in response to her before hanging up.

"What's the matter?" Naala questioned quietly. She was laying on his chest so his loud voice vibrated off of her.

"Chanel's car blew up," Dave told her. Naala smiled discreetly,

"Was she in it?" Naala squinted hopefully,

"Nah, it was outside Brianna's house," He informed her. Naala grunted and silently cursed Kyle for doing a bad job.

"Damn it," She mumbled lowly lifting her head up. "That's a sad thing to happen, hope she's okay?" She faked.

"She's fine, now she wants money," Dave shook his head sliding Naala off of him.

"Oh how the tables have turned," Naala remarked getting up. Her phone buzzed beside her and she saw it was her Grandad.

"Hey Pa," Naala answered moving away from Dave slowly.

"Happy birthday ọmọ alade," He said straight away, calling her Princess in his native language.

Eli was working on getting Naala and Naleli to speak their native language of Yoruba, in aid of the business they were in.

"Thank you Agba," Naala thanked him, her too using Yoruba to address him.

"30 odun seyin aye mi yi pada," Eli continued making Naala blush. "Olorun bukun mi pelu eyin meji"

"English," Dave said with a raised brow, he wanted to know everything they were saying.

"He said 30 years ago his life changed and that God blessed him with me and Naleli," Naala translated for him. "My husband is in the room Agba,"

"Kí ó ko yorùbá" Eli replied with a chuckle. Naala laughed along. [translation - he should learn Yoruba]

"Ko fe, emi ko le fi ipa mu u lati kọ ẹkọ" Naala shook her head making the bed with the phone on the side. [translation - he doesn't want to, I can't force him to learn]

"Naala," Dave sighed looking at her.

"Sorry," Naala apologised. "He said you should learn Yoruba and I said you don't want to,"

"Out of all those words you said, that was it?" Dave asked suspiciously.

"ọmọ mi, how are you?" Eli asked addressing Dave as his son.

"He's talking to you now," Naala said softly. Dave nodded and took the phone.

"Ion like that my wife isn't speaking in English anymore," Dave went straight to the point.

"Ah but your wife is not English. She is Nigerian, she must know her heritage," Eli retorted. "My father raised me to speak in Yoruba and that is how I will raise my grandchildren."

"Agba I'm 30 years old," Naala reminded him. She didn't need to be raised anymore.

"Teach your husband our native tongue ,ọmọ alade," Eli commanded her. His strong voice enough to make her agree.

"I sent you a birthday gift," Eli spoke in English.

"How much was it?" Naala grinned standing up straight.

"Enough to celebrate 30 years on earth," Eli replied. "Both you and Naleli," He added.

Naala took her phone back to check her account balance,

"3 million Agba?" Naala gasped holding her chest.

"Ni to?" Eli questioned in Yoruba. [translation - Is that enough?]

"It's more than enough," Naala laughed. "Oshe," She thanked him in Yoruba.

"He did better than me," Dave said looking over her shoulder.

"You have big shoes to fill then," Naala said kissing his cheek.

They wrapped up on the phone while Dave was sat on the bed, scrolling through his phone.

"I'm sorry about him," Naala apologised to him. "I speak English at home with you but he's being really hard on us," She referred to both her and Naleli.

"It's cool but around me try and stick to English," Dave said pulling her onto his lap. "Speaking of Naleli, where is she?"

"Next door with Tarek," Naala informed him. "When you invited yourself, she invited him,"

"That's fun, what do you wanna do today?" Dave asked kissing her shoulder.

"I wanna be with you all day," Naala replied holding onto him. "Don't go back tomorrow," She sighed playing with his braids.

"I gotta show in LA, I have to," Dave responded. He wished that he didn't have to but if not how would he fund her expensive lifestyle?

"What do you want? We can go shopping," He said, dropping her favorite activity out in the open.

"A new purse or five," Naala said quickly. "There was also these new heels I saw Jayda wear, they were cute,"

"We'll go get em," Dave answered. He turned her face to him and kissed her hard, parting her lips and slipping his tongue into her mouth.

Naala's phone started going off again, making them pull apart.

"It's Doctor Reece," Naala fretted looking at the caller id. Dave took the phone from her,

"You can wait till after your birthday," He suggested,

"No I need to know now," Naala took the phone back. She slid to answer it and waited for the bad news.

"Naala, my apologies. I was meant to call after our meeting," Claire apologised.

"It's fine, my husband is here too," Naala replied so the doctor was aware.

"Okay perfect, is now a good time to go through the results?" Dr Reece asked.

"Yeah," Naala nodded, her heart beating fast. "It didn't work did it?"

"Unfortunately not. The test was negative and all egg counts seem the same, still relatively low," She responded.

Naala sighed and closed her eyes, leaning on Dave. It was always bad news, never anything different.

"Did you hear me Naala?" Dr Reece asked quietly, "I know this is hard but you're not out of options," She added.

Dave squeezed her thigh and kissed her cheek, "There is no more options," Naala replied, tears falling from her eyes.

Before Dave could interject, Naala got up from his lap and walked away, into the bathroom.

"She's left the room," Dave cleared his throat for Dr Reece to hear.

"There are other options Mr Brewster, IVF is one of the best I could suggest. I would take her egg and your sperm and fertilise it, creating an embryo. Once that process is complete, I will return the embryo to Naala's womb, allowing it to grow," She explained.

"Does that normally work?" Dave asked taking the phone of speaker and putting it to his ear.

"It has a high success rate but it may not take to Naala's womb. I can't tell you that it will work," Dr Reece responded.

"I'll talk to her about it but Ion think now is the best time for that," Dave replied. He heard water running in the bathroom, so she was probably taking a shower.

"As I explained to Naala, she's had 4 children and it wasn't easy with either of them," Dr Reece spoke to him.

"I gotta go and check on her. Can you set up an appointment to talk about this IFV thing?" Dave mumbled,

"IVF," Dr Reece corrected with a chuckle. "Already done, will Wednesday be suitable?"

"I'll try," Dave nodded standing to his feet. When he was done on the phone, he put it down and sighed.

Dave hated this, he hated that Naala was going through so much for a baby that he wanted. All he wanted was a son, one that was actually his.

"Baby?" He called knocking on the door,

"Don't come in here," Naala said lowly, if he didn't strain his ears he wouldn't have even heard her.

"I'm coming in," He said ignoring her request. She would have locked the door if she really didn't want him in there.

Naala was sat on the closed toilet with both the tap and the shower running. Her face was full of tears which he expected.

"I don't want you taking those things anymore," Dave said seriously. "If it's not working then we'll find another way,"

"That's easy for you to say," Naala cried, "My body doesn't work how it's supposed to or when I want it to."

"When he raped me, I got pregnant with a child I didn't want. Now I want to have a baby and it won't work," Naala sobbed putting her head in her hands.

"I know baby, I know," Dave said getting down to her level.

"It's not fair Amir, I can't do this anymore," Naala replied moving his hands off of her. "If you want another baby it won't be with me." She was tired of being upset all the time.

"I wouldn't do that," Dave shook his head,

"So how did Mariah come about?" Naala answered with venom. "You wouldn't do that but you have a whole other daughter with a whole nother bitch," She pointed at him.

"You're upset, I'm not even gonna argue with you," Dave  said standing back.

"I only had Samar because of what you did," She continued. This was something Naala had never admitted but she only had Samar to spite Dave.

"You brought a whole kid into the world because of me?" Dave asked in disbelief.

"Well both you and Hassan. Hassan wanted another son, you wanted a baby with another bitch so it tied in perfectly," Naala spilled.

"I'm gonna leave the room now," Dave told her. He had learned from his anger management course that when he felt himself getting angry, he should leave.

"Get out," Naala shrugged. "I'm here damn near killing myself to give you another baby but it's not worth it," She said her tears starting again.

"You have to be the craziest person I've met Naala," Dave said slowly giving in to her words.

"You had a whole child!" Dave shouted. "A whole child just to get back at me?" His voice was so loud it travelled down the halls.

Naala stepped back and let him continue to scream at her.

"Please stop shouting at me," Naala muttered softly,

"No you're gonna stand there and listen to what the fuck I have to say Naala. You are a selfish, ungrateful person. I won't let you play the victim no more." Dave shouted.

"Everything I do is for you! Yes I fucked up but so did you. You fucked my best friend and had a baby by him, then had a fucking mental breakdown so it all got forgotten about," He ranted.

"You are the cause of all your issues Naala. You like to blame other people but it's you!" Dave finished. His chest was heaving from finally get everything off of it.

"That's how you feel?" Naala asked simply. "So why are you with me?"

"Because I love you Naala but you are incapable of being loved or loving others without laying your life on the line." Dave answered.

"I am in love with you, and all your flaws but you have to take accountability Love. You need to see that the world doesn't revolve around you," He finished.

Naala sat down in shook, Dave had never spoken to her that way, he just read her like a book.

"I'm gonna go back to LA," He said turning away from her. "We need space or something because I don't want to ruin this again,"

Naala jumped up and followed him, "No don't go Mir, I'm sorry," She apologised.

"It's me, I'm the problem so don't go," Naala begged holding his hand.

"I'm not going back to where we were before La, it's not healthy for us," Dave replied dropping his bag.

"I know and I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said those things. I didn't mean it, I'm just frustrated at myself." Naala said softly. "I didn't know you felt this way, I'm selfish but please just don't go,"

Dave sighed and wrapped his arms around her. He couldn't leave her because he knew he was the only thing keeping her going.

"Don't cry," He said rubbing her back,

"Please don't go," Naala repeated in tears. "I'll change, I'll be who you want me to be,"

"I want you to get better Naala, not like this," Dave said to her.

"You want us to break up?" Naala answered pulling away from him.

"No but I don't think I'm good for you anymore baby," Dave said honestly.

There was a loud knock on their door, which stopped their conversation. Naala wiped her face and stepped away from Dave.

"Get away from my sister," Naleli said storming into the room. "Are you okay?" She directed her question to Naala.

"I'm fine Leli," Naala said wiping her eyes. "It was a silly fight that's all,"

"I heard him all the way down the hall Naala, don't lie to me," Naleli said mugging Dave.

Dave started to head towards the door to give them some space,

"Amir don't go," Naala said quickly. Naleli side eyed her, she hated how weak Naala could be.

"I'm giving you guys a chance to talk, I'm going to talk to Tarek or something," Dave answered turning back to kiss her lips.

"Okay," Naala nodded hesitantly. He kissed her once more and held onto her waist.

"I'm not going anywhere," He whispered into her ear before kissing it.

"Okay leave now," Naleli frowned when they started kissing again.

"Don't be rude to him," Naala defended hitting her sister's arm.

"Tell me everything," Naleli said once the door closed.

"I'll have a Long Island," Naleli spoke to the waiter, closing the menu and giving it back to them.

"And you ma'am?" The waiter turned to Naala,

"She'll have a water," Dave answered for her, taking the menu from Naala.

"Why? I'll have a Mai Tai," Naala ordered snatching her hand away from Dave's.

"I thought you weren't drinking anymore?" Dave spoke into her ear.

"I'm not pregnant so why can't I?" Naala tutted,

"Just one," He answered with authority. Naala nodded and kissed his cheek,

"Just one," She repeated. Naleli looked on in disgust, she found him to be the most controlling man Naala had even been with.

"So how was your birthday?" Tarek said breaking the awkward silence.

"Babe shut up," Naleli mumbled before eating off his plate.

"It was fine thank you Tarek," Naala replied nicely. "I had a good time," She leaned into Dave a bit more.

"Yeah fucking," Naleli said looking at them both.

"What were you doing?" Naala shot back, Naleli was beginning to irritate her.

"Easy," Dave said with his hand on her thigh. "I was thinking we could go to the strip club, what you think T?" He said to Tarek.

"That's cool," Tarek shrugged. He actually didn't mind Dave's company.

"Strip club for what?" Naala squinted at him. Naleli laughed and nodded,

"Let's go," Naleli said excitedly. "Stop being boring," She kicked Naala under the table.

"I'm far from boring," Naala said defensively. "Bae tell her," She nudged Dave.

"She not boring at all," Dave smirked looking down at her. "Especially not when her mout-"

"Don't finish that sentence," Naala said softly with a chuckle. She looked away and at the table in front of them, where a group of girls were sat.

They were clearly on a girls trip but their eyes were on Naala's table.

"Your drinks," A waiter said bringing them over.

"Oh he didn't order a drink," Naala said handing them back the drink they placed in front of Dave.

"This was from that table over there," He added placing the drink back in front of Dave.

"Sweet," Dave mumbled sipping the drink.

"Are you stupid? Put it down," Naala fussed at him. "They can see me sat here and they're sending you drinks,"

"Maybe they're just being nice baby," Dave said quietly. He didn't see a problem but he knew Naala was a hothead.

"No she wants you," Naleli said stirring the pot. Naala's left eye twitched as she looked over at them giggling and laughing.

The girl that hadn't take her eyes off Dave made eye contact with Naala. Naala couldn't help but feel insecure, the girl was beautiful and exactly Dave's type.

"Don't listen to her. I ain't even checking for her," Dave spoke turning her face to him.

"I know but she keeps staring," Naala said looking him in the eye.

"Only you baby," He said pecking her lips. Naala reached up and wiped the gloss off his lips.

"I got the check," Tarek said putting his wallet away. They stood to their feet ready to leave the restaurant.

"Strip club time," Naleli shimmied excitedly beside Naala.

"Why you so excited to see ass?" Naala laughed intertwining her fingers with Dave's.

"You really asking that?" Tarek laughed at them. "Sometimes I catch Leli looking at more ass than me,"

"Who doesn't like a little booty?" Naleli said walking beside them.

"You okay?" Dave asked squeezing Naala's hand.

"Perfect now that we're okay," Naala answered letting her sister walk in front. "I'm sorry about earlier," She apologised once more.

"I shouldn't have shouted at you," Dave responded stopping them from walking.

"We've got a lot of things to work through Mir, I want us to work," Naala said facing him.

"We'll go back to therapy," Dave said leaning down to kiss her. "Did I tell you how good you look tonight?" He said rubbing his hands over her ass.

"No you didn't," Naala smiled wrapping her arms around his waist.

"You'd look better without all this on," He gestured to her dress.

"Later," Naala giggled. "Come on before they leave us," She dragged him towards them. He pulled her back and lifted her chin up, kissing her passionately.

"You wanna go to the bathroom?" He asked playing with the top of her dress.

"You're drunk stop," Naala said softly moving his hand. Dave didn't listen putting his face in her neck and sucking on it.

"Come on!" Naleli shouted from ahead of them.

"Bae stop," Naala moaned quietly. "Amir, I said stop," Naala spoke when his hands started to travel up her dress.

The girl from the table was watching them from behind, wondering why they looked so familiar.

"You want me to stop?" Dave asked lifting his head out of her neck.

"Wait till we're back in the room," Naala replied kissing him lightly.

"Your ass is mine," Dave grumbled standing up straight and taking her hand.

~~

"Where you going?" Dave asked tiredly when he felt the bed shift.

"I need to see my sister quickly," Naala said lowly. She put her robe over her naked body and fixed the sheets so they covered his naked body.

"Remember I leave in the morning," Dave said pulling her back towards the bed.

"I know, I'll be quick," Naala smiled patting his face. He nodded and pecked her lips before laying back down.

Naala left the room and took her key, gliding down the halls. The elevator stopped on her floor allowing her to enter. When she did, a familiar face was smiling back at her.

"Naala right?" The girl smiled stepping forward.

"Do I know you?" Naala asked looking her up and down.

"From Cinique, we didn't meet but we were both there tonight," She referred to the restaurant.

"Oh, you sent my husband a drink?" Naala said raising a brow.

"Oh my God, you're married," She gasped. "I didn't know, it was a stupid dare."

"Cleo by the way," She outstretched her hand out to Naala.

"I don't like being touched," Naala replied looking at her hand. "How do you know my name?"

"I follow you on Instagram. I didn't know you were married, you don't post him," Cleo said looking at her.

"No I don't," Naala muttered pressing ground floor. She lied about going to speak to her sister. She needed air, and to be somewhere where she didn't feel watched.

"I'm sorry, the dare was to send a drink to the man you wanted to fuck in the room." Cleo spilled senselessly, she was drunk.

"Really?" Naala smiled her eye almost bulging out from twitching. "What floor are you on? Let me help you up,"

"I think 3 or maybe 4," Cleo laughed balancing on Naala.

"Where's your key? It will tell me," Naala asked politely. Cleo patted around her purse until she found it.

Naala smiled brightly and took the key, pressing floor 4. When they reached the floor, she walked her to the room.

"He's really fine, like how don't you ride his face every night?" Cleo rambled on,

"Oh trust me I do," Naala said softly unlocking the door. "Here you are," She pushed the door open for her.

"Thanks so much. You're so friendly, fuck what the media have to say about you," Cleo said hugging Naala. "Oh I'm so drunk, how am I gonna get out of this dress?" She stumbled around.

Naala had the best idea and she was also very tired of having to fight bitches off her man.

"I can help," Naala offered. "It would be my pleasure," She added shutting the door behind them.
