*Yuki's POV*

It's. Too. Early!

I mean normally, I would be up bright and early but after that mission, I'm so tired!

"Hey Yuki! Let's go!" Ruka shouted impatiently.

"You Irk my existence!" I called back sweetly.

"Just coz I'm more attractive!"

"Well I'm more fabulous!"

"I'm a smexy mother fudger!"

"Your worse than the princes!"

"How dare you Yuki Hatashi!"

"Whatever Ru-"

"SHUT IT! Jeez both of you are just hyperactive dunces!" Ryuua groaned and me and Ruka just laughed.

"Just hurry up Yuki, before Ryuua kills you!" Umi said while giggling.

I shook my head before putting on my black shorts and grey, long sleeve crop top. Umi had her usual skirt and blue crop top and Ryuua had her shorts and dark green crop top.

"I'm here!" I laughed jumping on Umi's back. She giggled and we set off to meet Gou Sensei.

We said bye to Ryuua and then Gou Sensei appeared.

"Today there is no mission, team!" He announced making us give him that 'what the llama?' Look.

"Huh?" We all chimed at the same time.

"I just wanted to give you these." He handed us all a peice of paper.

"The chuunin exams?" Umi asked and i just grinned.

"Omg yay! I can't wait! I'm in." I squealed and flashed a grin to Gou Sensei.

He laughed and shook his head. "If your not sure the read through the paper. If your in then meet at the exam hall tomorrow morning." He explained and we all nodded before he poofed away.

"So you know what they are Yuki?" Umi asked sitting down in a crossed legged position.

My ears perked up in excitement. From what I remember, there is a written test then, the forest of death. After that there is the fights. I just thought over the whole thing but nodded.

"Yeah! It's basically a test to see who will be made a chuunin. Some ninja have taken it before but failed, but I know we can do it." I sat down as well and Ruka just sighed.

"Of course you would be all perky about it. But yeah I think we have a chance of becoming chuunin." He folded his arms and sat down with us.

"So you guys think we're ready?" Umi asked still a bit worried. I placed a hand on her shoulder reassuringly.

"Yeah. We can do it." I smiled at them both and they nodded back.

"Oh! I Gotta go meet Kiba! See you guys later." Umi began jogging back to the town waving at us.

"Well I'm meeting Choji and Lee for ramen so I guess I'll see later." Ruka waved me goodbye then left.

"ALL BY MYSELFFFF!" I sang while skipping away from the grass area.

"Watch where your going kid!" I heard someone shout.

"Huh? Oooooo I can investigate! Like James Bond or The pink panther! Yeah, I am technically a cat anyway!" I laughed before making hand signs. "Advance sound jutsu!" I said and my hearing enhanced by 10%.

"Hey! Put him down!" Wait, was that Naruto? I jumped into a tree and sure enough, I saw Naruto glaring at a guy with a cat hood who had konohamaru held up why his shirt.

Sakura was being useless, as usual, and was just stood behind him doing nothing, like usual. I could sense sasuke in a tree above them and konohamaru's team was hiding behind Naruto. The guy, kankuro I think, was just glaring at Naruto. A girl with 4 bond buns in her hair, was watching and shaking her head at him.

"Your a disgrace to our village." A low, cold voice sounded from the tree where sasuke was.

"Ga-Gaara." The girl stuttered and kankuro dropped konohamaru and strapped back.

"Gaara the kid ran into me." He explained.

"Be quiet, or I'll kill you." He threatened sounding completely serious.

Oooooh no he didn't! I thought about him just snapping his fingers in a zig zag motion and I couldn't help but laugh.

I fell out of a tree.

What? I thought I would just say it as it is!

"Yuki?" Naruto said confused. I jumped to my feet with my tail swishing.

"You know it!" I flipped my hair and he rolled his eyes. Sakura glared and sasuke, well sasuke was a duckbutt so yeah.

"Yuki!" Konohamaru, udon and moegi called running up and hugging me. I had gotten to like the little nuggets while training with Naruto.

"Who are you?" The cat hood guy with face paint asked, kankuro.

"Hatashi Yuki! And may I say, I admire your kitty hood!" I grinned and he just looked at me weirdly.

"Yuki what are you doing here?" Sasuke sighed jumping down to join his team.

"Hey you three, go find Ruka, he's at ichiraku's." I told konohamaru and his team. They all nodded then ran towards the streets.

"Wellll duckbutt. I was lonely so yeah, then I heard kitty chan shouting so I came to investigate." I said proudly swinging back on my heels.

"Kitty chan?" Kankuro asked confused and pissed off.

"Well that's what I'm gonna call Ya, since you have a cat hood." I smiled at him and he rolled his eyes. "But I have the real thing!" I gestured to my cat ears and he just looked at them before looking away, clearly annoyed.

"Let's go." The dark voice said again before a swirl of sand appeared behind the two sand ninja. A red head then appeared with arms folded and eyes narrowed.

"Ye-yes gaara." The girl stammered before the three turned away.

"Wait! By your headbands I can see your from the sand village. I know you probably have permission to be here but I still need to see your proof." Sakura demanded rudely. I mocked her with my hand gesture and she glared at me.

"We are here for the chuunin exams." The girl announced.

"Chuunin exams?" Naruto asked and I sighed.

"It's an exam to determine who's going to be a chuunin. It's a series of different tests and in the end some ninja will become chuunin or no one will. The outcome is unpredictable." I explained and they just looked at me as if I was crazy.

"That's what we're here for brats, so don't mess with us." Kankuro threatened but I couldn't take him seriously with his face paint and kitty hood.

"What's your name?" Sasuke ordered.

"Rude." I muttered earning me a glare.

"Who me?" The girl asked blushing slightly.

"No, the guy with the gourd of sand."

"My name is Gaara of the desert and I'm curious about you too." Gaara replied.

"I'm Uchiha Sasuke." The duckbutt said smugly.

"Otherwise know as duckbutt or duckass. Either is fine." I told him while swishing my tail.

"Do you wanna know my name!" Naruto asked boldly.

"No, however I would like you to tell me yours again." The red head looked to me and I just flashed a peace sign and winked.

"I'm Hatahi Yuki!" I said as Naruto sulked in his emo corner.

"Huh, a Hatashi, got ears and a tail. That's interesting." The girl spoke mainly to herself.

"What's your name blondie?" I asked while pulling my hair into a pony tail.

"I'm Temari. This is Gaara and kankuro, my brothers." She motioned to each in turn. I already knew their names but I didn't fault her on it.

"Okay! Anyway see Ya in the chuunin exams, kitty chan, Gaara, Temari!" I waved at the three while smiling then turned on my heel and headed off to find Ryuua.

Gaara of the desert, Temari and kankuro. I hope to see you in the exams.
