Chapter 26

Harry's POV*

I was happy as I woke up for school today. I got a text from Josh warning me Leslie at school already since she had early morning practice. We had a mutual agreement I would pick her up from practice when school ended so he could practice but Leslie had a game today after school. I was concerned with the fact that she had been practicing all weekend for it with little hope she'll win.

"Morning." I pressed a kiss to my mom's cheek. She grinned at me. "Someone's in a good mood." Gemma walked in. She was out of town the past few weeks for work. I glared at her, pressing a kiss on her cheek and took my nephew, Jack, into my arms.

"Hey buddy."

"Boyfriend?"

"No." They thought I was gay. I haven't brought anyone over in my entire 17, soon to be 18, years of life. They looked at eachother with smirks making me roll my eyes.

"It's okay to be gay." Gemma annoyed me as I walked into my room to get my ringing phone. "I'm not gay, Gem, jesus." I snapped at her, setting Jack down on my bed.

"Harry. I'm your sister, I know when you're hiding something. Or someone." She sat on the edge of my bed with her son. I narrowed my eyes at her, closing my door shut. I didn't want my mom to find out about Leslie yet because she would fucking kill me since I didn't tell her.

"Hey baby." I answered her call. "Hey, I just got out of practice. I have a game here at like 4:30. I don't know if you wanted to come or not." I rolled my eyes at my girlfriend.

"Of course I'll be there you dweeb. I'll see you in class in a few. Want me to pick something up for you to eat?" "No, I bought you some food. I'm with Nessa and Amber right now. We're at Starbucks." I laughed softly, ignoring Gemma who was jumping on my bed in excitement.

"I'll see you at school." I hung up and she let out a scream, scaring Jack.

"You're dating someone!" "I gotta go to school. Don't wait up for me after. I have a game to get to right after." "What time?" She tilted her head.

"4:30 so I should be home around 6 or 7 depending. Not a word to mom, seriously Gem."

"Wait why so late? Where's the game?"

"It's at my school. It's a home game but I'll probably go hang out with Josh or something before the game so we'll kill time until 4:30." I mentally mapped out and she squealed as I kissed her and my nephew. God, I hate her sometimes.

"Bye mom." I called out and she turned to me. "Not going to eat?" "No, buying some on the way." I jogged to my car before she could question me further. I got to school to see Leslie talking with her friends, dancing around like an idiot.

"Hey beautiful." I whispered in her ear, kissing the scars that broke my heart. She screamed, calming down when she realized it was just me.

"So, are you guys like an official thing?" Michael asked where he stood with Olivia on his arm. "Yeah." I said, confused because I thought she told them. "Ha! I told you. I told them. They didn't believe me." Leslie giggled, detaching from me to hand me a drink and food with a bag.

"What's this?" It had a balloon attached to it. "Birthday present. We're a week away from you turning 18 so I bought 7 gifts. You'll get a new one everyday." "Baby, I didn't ask for this." I frowned, looking at the gift bag. "I didn't ask for a dozen hickeys yet here we are." I laughed at her.

"Open it. I worked really hard on it." She wrapped her arms around my waist and pouted. God, that face. That face could get anything her heart desires.

"Hey man." Zayn and the boys came over. "Hey." I had one arm around Leslie, the other held my food and drink.

"What's with the balloon? Birthdays not for another week." Liam asked as Leslie smiled.

"I know. Birthday week. I got him 7 gifts, one for each day till then." She explained and they nodded slowly, laughing at her.

"Well, you seriously got yourself a keeper there, Haz. My girlfriend forgot my birthday." Niall said and Louis nodded furiously.

"Oh babe! Did Liam tell you that I almost left you for his girlfriend? She is so beautiful! I saw them after I got out the dentist and it was practically love at first sight." Leslie wiggled her eyebrows at me and shot Liam a wink as he laughed.

"Did you now." I smirked, licking my lips as I watched her. She is beautiful. The most beautiful thing on this planet.

"Yup. We had a moment." I laughed at her, shaking my head as I watched her bounce up and down in happiness.

"You coming to the game on Saturday?" Louis asked and she tilted her head in confusion. "I haven't told her about it yet. Been busy with other stuff." I scratched the side of my jaw.

"What game?"

"We're going to Lou's place to watch the soccer game. You can come if Harry invites you." Niall said and I smacked him in the back of his head.

"She's invited regardless you idiot. She's my girlfriend."

"Be nice." Leslie shot me a glare and I just stared. "You up for it?" I asked and she nodded making the guys cheer.

"Alright. Booze is provided." Zayn said and I coughed abruptly.

"She doesn't like beer." I warned and she widened her eyes at me. "Don't tell them." "You don't, if you're going to go they should have something you like." "I'm fine with beer." "She likes wine or hard liquor. Mixed drinks. The same shit Perrie and Sophia drink." I said before staring at her again.

"Open your gift." She warned me as we sat in English. I set my food on the table, taking a bite of my Bacon Gouda sandwich before opening the bag to reveal a gold rolex that made me nearly choke.

"Babe what the fuck?" My voice came out deeper than intended, earning stares from people around us.

"What?"

"It's expensive."

"And? I save money for no reason. You spoil me so it's only right I spoil you back."

"I'm not going to accept this." I put the black box on the table, sliding it over. She crossed her arms. "I don't want it. I bought it for you, you're going to hurt my feelings." "Baby." I reasoned with a sigh and she shook her head.

"Do you not like it?" I had officially done it. I hurt her feelings. Fuck, the look on her face made my stomach turn in guilt and my heart ache.

"No, I love it. I promise." I leaned forward and grabbed her hand.

"Why won't you accept it?" Her voice broke along with my heart.

"I'll accept it but do not get me anything else."

"Too late, it's all planned out and paid for." I uncrossed her arms and held her hands in mine.

"I love you. Thank you for my gift." I leaned over and pressed a kiss to her lips, people in the class began to chatter about us, girls scoffed and guys remarked on how she could do better.

"You're welcome." She grinned as I pulled away and the teacher walked in to give a lecture which we ignored by eating.
