Chapter Twelve

Sasuke had found Kabuto but as life always has it's surprises, he had also found Itachi. The two brothers finally fought side by side to defeat Kabuto who was only trapped inside Itachi's Tsukiyomi. Sasuke only had a few breathing moments with his reincarnated brother before he would move on in the afterlife.

Some things were told to Sasuke that still made him uncertain in his choices. Even though he had been dead set against following Madara around, he still felt the hatred for the Hidden Leaf Village. With questions that still needed an answer, he turned to the forbidden jutsu that the Second Hokage himself created.

Sakura had found her way to the battle field in just the nick of time. Kakashi was up against the masked man who was once known as Madara Uchiha. Instead his real face was shown to the grey haired man.

Obito Uchiha, Kakashi's team mate from a time before Sakura could ever know. Suddenly her sensei was whisked away into whatever Obito had inside himself. She saw Naruto standing with the other ninja from the village, though all five Kage seemed to be missing. All of the shinobi turned their heads to see the new comer to the battlefront.

"Sakura!" Naruto and many others yelled as they ran towards her with open but cautious arms.

"Sakura, is that really you?" Ino shouted as she waved to her friend frantically.

"Yeah Ino, it's really me!"

"Where the hell have you been forehead!" Ino shouted with relief in her voice.

"That's not relevant now. The important thing is what is that big thing over there?" Sakura questioned as she pointed to a ginormous, repulsive statue like being.

"It's the Gedo Statue. Mada- I mean Obito summoned it to fight us instead of taking us head on." Naruto replied to Sakura's question.

"Well then, let's take it down!" Sakura shouted with determination, as she pulled on her brown leather gloves and tightened her Leaf headband that sat on her head.

"So, what is your answer Uchiha." The second Hokage asked quietly. Sasuke looked in front of him, in which stood four of the strongest shinobi to be born in the village of the Hidden Leaf. Two of which who had founded the village itself. Their eyes looked at him with a calm hope. Orochimaru, Karin, Suigetsu and Juugo stood beside him anxiously awaiting his answer. He shut his eyes to pull back into a dark world he once knew. In this world there was a faint glow that was just in arms reach. Slowly he opened his eyes once again to announce his decision.

"I'm going to save the leaf, and become the Hokage. I will make things as they should be." All four Hokage gave a gentle smirk as they saw how much everything had changed since their own times.

The Second gave a short laugh, to think on how much he once opposed the Uchiha. With a short nod, Sasuke headed off with the four Hokage, as the others went in the opposite direction to take care of the other current five kage.

Sakura and the others huffed as they took a break after the battle against the Gedo Statue. It had been defeated, as they all pitched in together to defeat it. Their last enemy was none but Obito Uchiha, who still fought Kakashi inside his time space jutsu, or so they had thought. On top of a high mountain, a dark figure appeared before them. Alongside the figure was an even darker one. As the two stepped into the light of the moon, they could see it was none other then Zetsu, and the real Madara Uchiha.

"Who is this now?" Some shinobi whispered in the back.

"I don't know, is he on our side?" Suddenly a blue skeletal arm holding a sword, crashed down on the shinobi alliance. Many escaped just in time to skip out any heavy damage.

"Obito! I know you know I am here! Come out, now!" Instead of appearing beside the real Madara, Obito stood behind the shinobi alliance.

"What's going on?!" Naruto yelled as he looked frantically between the two. Obito was no longer what anyone saw him as before. He had obtained a new power from wherever he had gone. He had the power of the six paths in his palms.

"Have you betrayed me already, Obito?" The man smirked as he looked at the younger and more alive one across the rocky hell.

"Never." Obito managed as he held out the staff in his right hand that had a black chakra ball ready to fire. Everyone had known what this would do, since it was close enough to what the Kyuubi would shoot.

They had all stood in horror as the ball cam hurdling towards them at huricaine speed. In a reflex, all shinobi, including Sakura, took shelter behind they arms which would be instantly deemed useless. There was a bright flash of light as Sakura winced at the pain that was to come. There were no screams of anger, or pain. Nor was there even an explosion that sounded close enough to harm them.

She slowly opened her eyes to see more new face that would join the group. To her left she could see three men standing above them. Naruto quickly jumped up towards them, as did Sakura in only an instinct to follow the blonde boy. In front of her stood three familiar faces that she would see almost everyday in the village of Konoha. The first, second, and third stood in front of her, now four it seemed.

"Hey Naruto." The blonde fourth Hokage said with a warm smile.

"Hey, dad." Sakura opened her mouth in shock to what she had just heard.

"Whaaaaat!!??" Minato laughed as he looked to the pink haired girl that stood beside his son.

"Is this your girlfriend, Naruto?" The blonde hesitated as he laughed with his arm behind his head.

"Yeah, I guess so!" Within an milli second, Sakura's angry fist slammed against Naruto head as she shouted,

"Naruto you idiot! Don't spout such nonsense!" Naruto fell down holding his head as she bickered at him with angst. Minato laughed as he thought of the girl to be like his own wife, Kushina. Once they had both cooled down, Minato mentioned to the two about something he'd forgotten to in the beginning.

"Naruto, I believe your friend should be here anytime now."

"I know, I already sensed you coming while I was in the Kyuubi state." Sakura looked at the two with a confused look. Behind her, she heard the familiar voice she's always known since child hood.

"You're still an idiot, Naruto." The pink hair girl turned around to see no one else but Sasuke Uchiha himself. She smiled as tears welled up in her eyes to see he had decided to show up.

"Sasuke-kun, you made it!" She shouted as she stepped toward her old team mate.

"I did, but right now we should stop talking. Let's finish this." Sakura looked down, then back up to see Naruto and Sasuke standing together, alongside the ninja alliance and the four reincarnated hokage. She walked forward to stand beside her two team mates, to face the enemies ahead. Obito and Madara Uchiha. Before anymore could happen, Obito had begun to laugh histaricaly to himself.

"We'll finish you and you better believe it!" With a grim smirk, he formed the hand sign for release. Sasuke looked to his side as her pink hair fluttered to the ground with her. What followed was only a shrill and agonizing scream. Sasuke had hit the ground with her. The mark on her neck had been released and was now gone.

"I will give you a slow and agonizing death!" Obito shouted as he bit his thumb to commence the summoning jutsu.
