Part 3

Though she didn't feel like it, she returned to Storybrooke the next day, mostly because of Henry. She didn't know what to think about the kiss and

Regina, but she was kind of grateful that the brunette didn't insist on commenting. Emma felt wetness between her legs as she remembered how soft Regina's lips were. How they tasted on her own, how stunning the brunette smelled...

"Fuck." She cursed under her breath.

She had barely parked in the driveway when Killian was running towards her in nothing more than boxers. Even though it was around noon.

"Emma! Where have you been?"

"Boston." Emma said simply as she headed towards the house and bedroom as she had to change her wardrobe for graduation.

"What for? And why didn't you pick up your damn cell?!" Hook was screaming right behind her.

"We'll talk later. I have to hurry to school." Emma said, hastily shedding her blouse and jeans. She immediately felt her husband's hands on her body and flinched, but the man took it as encouragement.

"Not now." She growled angrily, but Hook didn't stop. He grabbed her breasts and kissed her neck. "Not now!" She screamed until she felt the magic flow, Hook backed away as if burned.

"What the hell?" He asked.

"I'm in a hurry Killian, Henry is giving his graduation speech in an hour." She said irritably, taking the dress off the hanger.

"You've been gone for two days." Killian scoffed. "You don't answer the phone, you disappear, and when you are, it's as if you weren't there, because you go to dinner with the young man and Regina every day!"

"This is my family, Hook." Emma noticed.

"I am your family now!" He growled. "You should be here every day, with me!"

"I have to go to work! Just because you don't have anything to do doesn't mean I don't either!" Emma scoffed at his outburst.

"I wish we had a baby, my love..." Killian said in a calmer tone.

"Now?" As soon as the question left her lips, she realized how stupid it was.

"In the near future." Hook mumbled.

"Why are you putting so much pressure on the baby? We just got married." Emma asked as she pulled the dress over her head.

"Because I want us to be a real family, my love." Killian grunted as he hugged her from behind, and though she was annoyed and in a hurry, she let him. Though thinking about kissing Regina made her uneasy... and it wasn't guilt, rather the realization that she belonged to someone else. "I want to have with you what you have with Regina..." He added, kissing her ear. This time she pushed him firmly away and started to slip on her shoes. She didn't want to start another argument when his comment was completely out of place.

"I have to go." She grunted and left.

The school was crowded, full of teenagers' parents and their families. Emma's eyes met Regina's eyes like a magnet in the crowd. She was standing next to Henry, who was wearing a graduate cap and gown. Emma smiled broadly.

"You look like a judge, kid." She came over and gave him a hug right away, looking over Henry's shoulder at Regina, who just nodded her head and avoided her eyes like the plague, though it didn't escape Emma's notice that the brunette had checked her out earlier.

"I invite everyone to their seats." The director said into the microphone and Henry said goodbye to them and went to join the rest of his colleagues. Emma followed Regina to take her seats, but the brunette left her alone. Until Mary Margaret and David sat next to Emma.

"Emma... can we talk after the ceremony?" Snow looked at her pleadingly, David smiled encouragingly at his daughter.

"I don't know." Emma chose honesty. "If you're going to tell me who I should be with and stuff like that, then we have nothing to talk about."

"Dear People of Storybrooke..." Regina was speaking from the stage as mayor and Emma immediately forgot about her mother as she stared at the brunette. Only some sentences reached her, about the future, youth, prospects and wishes for good luck, because her eyes absorbed a sexy woman in a tight black dress standing in front of a crowd of onlookers. She was undeniably attractive. Regina must have sensed her pattern on each other because they stared into each other's eyes for a moment before Emma felt caught and blushed. Noting with a little pride that Regina, too, had lost her rhythm and stuttered before returning to her speech.

Then came Henry, and Emma couldn't be prouder. She whistled even after the speech was over, meeting the grinned son and Regina's sour face at her behavior.

"Great speech, kid." Emma said to Henry, who freed himself from the rest of his friends and walked towards them. David and Snow also congratulated their grandson, gave him a gift - a magic bean grown by a giant, and said goodbye to them. Mary Margaret was letting Emma know with a look that they would talk later.

"Your mom is right, great job." Regina praised her son, looking at him carefully.

"Mom, don't look like you've seen me for the last time in your life." Henry grunted.

"We don't know if that's the case Henry. The Enchanted Forest isn't Storybrooke, and you'll be all alone there." Regina spoke, weighing every word. Emma felt it was time to intervene. She placed a hand on the brunette's shoulder and squeezed it reassuringly.

"Your mom just wants to say we'll always take care of you. We believe you'll be fine. But let us enjoy the sight of you before you leave us for who knows how long, ok?" Emma said.

"As you can see, the Savior has acquired a new skill - she can now read minds." Regina mocked.

"The hell, you don't even know what else I can do." Emma said lowly right into Regina's ear and the brunette gasped involuntarily.

Henry looked at them strangely, then seemed to understand something and smiled.

"Okay - the last one at Granny's eats salad!" He grinned and quickly walked to the pub.

"Salad? Never in my life." Emma scoffed and followed her son.

The afternoon together passed quickly and it was time to say goodbye. The mothers escorted Henry to the harbor where he was to open the portal. The boy took only a backpack with a story book, a flashlight and a small supply of food. Regina looked at the equipment with pity, but pursed her lips to say nothing, and Emma felt an even greater surge of feelings for the brunette, especially respect. Regina really tried to give her son freedom.

"Did you pack the mirror I gave you?" she asked.

"Yes, mom." Henry showed a small, elegant package.

"What is that?" Emma became interested.

"Communicator." Regina replied. "I have another one at home, if Henry gets in trouble, all he has to do is call me. Unfortunately, they have limited options..." She sighed irritably.

"Meaning?"

"You can only use them once." The blonde sensed a slight panic in Regina's voice. But she quickly cleared her throat and covered the impression with a forced smile.

"So..." Henry said, and though his excitement was evident, he looked at his mothers with a slight nostalgia.

"Go ahead, kid. Take care of yourself and come back to us." Emma said in a cheerful tone, though she wanted to cry.

Henry nodded his head.

"Please take care of each other, okay? Ma, especially you take care of my mom, ok?" Henry was hugging them.

"I can take care of myself perfectly well, I don't need a babysitter." Regina scoffed.

"That's why you need care. Ma, please."

"I promise." Emma said seriously. "As long as she doesn't throw fireballs at me or give me poisoned cake, we'll stick together."

"Great." Henry said as Regina opened her mouth. He threw the beans in front of him and a vortex opened. He walked over to it, turned to give them another smile, and jumped inside. The vortex closed.

Henry has disappeared.

And they stood in dead silence on the wharf, letting the tears flow freely.
