Klaus: what's that buzzing noise?

Isa: those are snow knats..

Klaus: oh I've read about them.. they sting!

Klaus took thier hands and the three children ran into the nearest cave.

Violet: there's light, at the end.

They heard a voice, at the end of the cave.

And they saw someone they each didn't want to see.

Olaf parked the car at a plateau of the mountain, they all got out.

Esmé: this isn't the headquarters.

Olaf: I understand that, love. I may have made a wrong turn somewhere..

Sunny: cold.

Olaf: yeah, we're all cold, babylaire. Hooky, put the baby in a cage. She's annoying.

Hooky: yes, boss.

×××The hook handed man took the golden cage out of the backseat.

Olaf: wait, let's have sunny make us food first. I have wine in the trunk. I need some alchohol after all this driving.

The hook handed man opened the trunk. Sunny peered inside. She noticed a note. She quickly took it and unfolded it. It read:

Sunny made a confused face, she couldn't read yet. She put it in her pocket and the hook handed man came back to sunny.

Hooky: its right here.

He pointed with his left hook at the box containing frozen alcohol.

Sunny picked it up out of the trunk and carried it over to a table, where the couple were sitting.

Olaf: its frozen! We can't drink this.

Sunny: no complaining.

Olaf rolled his eyes.

But then Olaf saw people he didn't want to see again either.

Violet: Carmelita Spats.

Carmelita: hello, cakesniffers!

Isa: why are you in the mountains?

Carmelita: because I'm a snow scout, and I'm going to be the False Spring Queen soon. We all are going to top of Mount Fraught to have a special False Spring celebration!

The Baudelaires looked at eachother.

Isa: may we join you?

"Yes, join us by the fire."

They noticed a boy a few feet behind Carmelita, he had a brown coat on and a mask, so they couldn't see who he was.

Klaus: are you sure we should join them?

Isa: we need somewhere to stay other than with Olaf.

Violet: she's right.

They followed Carmelita inside and sat next to the boy.

Isabelle noticed a familiar girl across the circle formation they were sitting in.

Isa: lily?

The girl smiled.

Lily: hey! Where have you been?

Carmelita: what's going on?

Isa: one of your snow scout members is my bestfriend.

Carmelita: lame! Let's tell stories!

Lily moved over to the Baudelaires, isabelle, and the mysterious boy.

Isa: now we can have a sleepover!

Violet: this isn't really a sleepover kind of place, and your father is trying to kill us all.

Lily: I'm sorry, what?

Isa: we will tell you after we get privacy.

Carmelita: cakesniffers! Stop whispering while I'm telling my story!

Camp leader: we should go to sleep anyways, everyone get your sleeping bags!

The boy: we have 3 extra for you guys.

He picked up his and picked up three more, and they followed him to lily's sleeping bag in the snowy cave.

Violet pulled isabelle to the side.

Violet: how do we know we can trust them?

Isa: I've known lily for months, she's been my only friend while I have been living in the city, and i know we don't know this boy, but maybe we could get to know him. I'm a volunteer, at least trust me.

Violet: fine..

They all put thier sleeping bags together and sat down on the cold ground.

Isa: alright, time to catch up lily.

The Baudelaires told lily about everything that count olaf has done, everything that happened and everything they learned about a certain secret organization called VFD.isabelle showed them her ankle.

Lily: woah..

The boy: my parents were in the organization.. I need to open the lock to get into VFD headquarters.

Violet: we want to get into there too, we learned that one of our parents might be alive..

The boy: come on, I'll show you the door.

He led them through the cave, them having to be quiet as all the snow scouts were sleeping, including Carmelita.

The boy: you have to answer 3 questions to get into it.

Isa: wait, how do we know you aren't on the wrong side of the schism?

The boy: same to you, how do I not know you'll burn down the headquarters like your father would.

Isa: excuse me! I'm not like him!

Lily: everyone calm down and shut up! What are the three questions?

I'm sorry yall but this part was boring, they answer questions and open the door lmao

Two people were standing in front of Count Olaf and his acting troupe.

One was a woman with hair but no beard, and a man with a beard but no hair.

Olaf: mommy? Daddy?

Woman: is that any way to treat the people who raised you?

Hooky: are these your parents, boss?

Olaf: only figuratively, they took me in and became my mentors after the schism..

Man: we came to see what you've been doing with your life.

Olaf: well! I am an actor, and I have hooky, my henchman after the others left me..

Esmé: ahem?

Olaf: oh, and this is my girlfriend!

Esmé: my name is-

Man: we know who you are, we admire your work.

Esmé smiled.

Woman: an actor? Olaf, we taught you to set fires! Not set up theater productions.

Olaf: well I do both.. I'm here to find VFD headquarters.

Man: no need for that now, come, we'll tell you why we are really on this mountain.

As the children opened the big door to the headquarters, they realized thier hopes were smashed.

Violet: its.. all gone.

The VFD headquarters was burned down.

Klaus: no no no...

Violet: mother.. father?

Isa: they aren't here. None of our parents are here. Kit isn't here. Beatrice isnt here-

Klaus: that means the sugarbowl isnt here either.

Violet turned to the boy.

Violet: who are you?

The boy slowly took off his mask-
