Ending Special 2────────── Yonko - Changes──────────

"Fuck you!" Kid hissed, glaring at the man standing in front of him. The 23-year-old male pants as he tried hard not to pass out from all the blood dripping out his body.

The person he is fighting sighed, grabbing a roll of bandages that is somehow in his pockets. Eustass stepped back as the stranger started approaching him. Though with how injured the redhead is, it only caused the young captain to fall on his ass.

A harsh glare formed on Kid's face as the bandage was thrown gently to his lap. The overall action made the male want to kill the man, especially for giving him pity. It annoyed the living shit out of him.

"Y/N would be disappointed..." Shanks mumbled as he turned around, proceeding to stroll back to his gang. "As your guardian, it is my fault for not taking care of you. And as punishment for you and me, I'll just have to live with the guilt of cutting off your arm."

Kid clenched his remaining fist, wondering if the pain on his missing limb was also the cause of his heart aching. Things have changed since you were gone.

"No matter how cruel Y/N may seem to others, she never kills those who are innocent. It's a golden rule of hers and her employees."

And with that, the red-haired yonko left with his crew, never once looking back.

"Mama! Eustass Kid is on our territory, and it appears he's trying to plunder the-!" Smoothie reported through a phone. However, she was instantly cut off by her mother's laughter, not at all bothered by the news.

"Eustass 'Captain' Kid, the lost sheep." Big mom hummed as she sat on her throne. That amused smile on her lips indicated her knowledge of the trespasser. "Send a Sweet Commander and make sure that boy is not to step foot in this place again."

"Got it, mama!" Smoothie nodded before the call ended.

The sweet-loving yonko glanced to the corner of her throne room, observing her second son that was listening to the conversation. Katakuri didn't show any signs of disagreeing with his mother's decision. He simply leaned on the wall with his eyes closed, appearing to be thinking of things.

"Mamamama~ A lost sheep who can't remember the teaching of its master is of no use to me. Isn't that right, Katakuri?" Big mom chuckled, reminiscing of the late Eustass Y/N.

"Yes, mama."

Amber eyes gazed through the people gathered in this temporary base. It's been a while since he last saw this two, having encountered them back in Sabaody. But now, they are doing their own thing at his base.

"Hey, Captain Kid!" Apoo greeted with a stupid grin on his face. "You look annoying as always!"

"Scratchmen! What are you doing?! You made a big mess out of our lair!" Kid growled, just about ready to flung metal pieces on the man's ugly figure. If it weren't for the fact that he had known him from childhood and Killer somehow managed to talk him into allying, then he would have happily buried the idiot himself.

"Sorry, captain! We couldn't stop him!"

"How thoughtless of you to keep guest you invited waiting," Hawkins spoke out as well. He held a stack of cards in his hands, just whisking through it without much thought.

"You assholes... I'm gonna kill you both!"

"Eustass 'Captain' Kid from the new generation," Kaido stated as he peered down at the half passed out figure. It was laughable to see such a prideful youngin trying to take him -a yonko- down.

"Something about the name is familiar to me..."

"Eustass Y/N, one of our previous allies we have a huge debt to. That's her son." King presented himself, having been following the whole ordeal from the side. He threw the redhead a glance over before focusing back on his captain.

"Gorororo! I remember now!" The king of the beasts laughed, remembering the vast impact that your death has brought to his crew. It was full-on chaos when the news broke out, especially with how he had to shut up because of his last deal with you and the other yonkos. "Unfortunately for you but, that debt doesn't extend to you. Lock him up."

That was the sign for the lower members to begin dragging the chained redhead out of Kaido's sight. Kid has the harshest glare on his face, minutes away from passing out from all his injuries.

"Wait." King suddenly called as he took a few steps towards the male. The all-star stared right at your son's eyes with utmost seriousness before he bent down to grab something from Kid's body.

The dagger you gifted Kid when he was young.

"This is owned by Jack, and he'd surely appreciate having it back."

And with that, Kid trashed while being dragged away -wanting nothing else but to get that stupid piece of metal back. That's his.

"Hey! Are you gonna fight Kaido again?" Kid yelled as he looked down at the younger leader.

"Do you wanna join us?" Luffy smiled softly, peering right back at his childhood friend. That eye contact communicated a lot between the two. However, the damage is far too done for the other.

"No way! Look what happened to my buddy..." The red-haired man refused as he strolled away. Killer followed behind him, laughing along the way. "Thank me for not killing you right here and now!"

Amber eyes closed for a second or two, a blurred picture of you appearing in his mind. Your voice and teachings have slowly escaped his memory, but there is one thing he could remember clearly. Society be fucking damned.

I'm sick of forming alliances. I won't believe anyone.

"Let's go, Killer... To take back our crewmates" and my damn dagger.

"We're gonna go our own way!" Kid affirmed, his hands clenching tightly as the winds whipped through his form -supporting him.

I'll be with you every step of the way, Kiddo.

Everyone's continuous support has motivated me to keep on going, and finally, here we are! I didn't expect to go this far; it's definitely a learning journey!

Moreover, one of you asked if there will be a sequel and well... Most probably not hehe (I feel that'll be too much of an overkill given how long the story already is), But I appreciate the thought! ;))

I apologize if the ending was abrupt, I kind of wanted that to be what transpired... And yes, Y/N is dead.

It would be up to Kid whether he'll find out the truth of your death. And for us to know if he will, we just have to watch One Piece and see if he'll become the pirate king ;)

The 1000th episode of the anime is right around the corner!!!
