Chapter 1: Confused.

Destiny's P.O.V

Ugh. Why is this happening to me? I fall back on my bed while my best friend Skyler is looking through my clothes. I haven't found my mate and everywhere I go , boys are either looking away or ignoring me.

"When is your mom letting you get out the house?" She asks looking over at me. 

Her long brown curly hair swished as she turned. She had big brown eyes freckles on her cheeks. This girl was my everything. I frown at what she asked.

"I have no idea ... I don't even know why she's doing this to me." I say rolling around my bed. 

"Well I suggest you find out today ... or else we won't get to go out" She says winking at me. I managed a chuckle and got up from my bed.  

"Gosh ... You look like shit... lets fix you up" She motioned me over to the chair in front of my  make up desk. 

She started brushing my long wavy black hair. I looked into the mirror only to see tired blue eyes and a face that looked like a lost puppy.  

"You're beautiful ... start acting like it" Skyler says before giving my hair one last brush. 

I slipped on some black shorts with a sweater and my black toms.

"I hate being a wolf" I murmur under my breath. 

"Speaking of wolves ... I smell bacon!" Skyler says running down the stairs. 

I roll my eyes and follow right behind her. Her speed got ahead of me because she was  already munching on bacon at the table by the time I stepped foot on the last stair  

"Fat ass" I murmur chuckling. She knew I was joking. Her body was perfect. 

"Whatever , I'm hungry" She says rolling her eyes at me.

My father comes in not looking too happy. He had black spiked up hair with grey eyes. My mom was the one with the blue eyes. She also had shoulder length black hair that was a bit curly. She was beautiful.

"What's wrong dad?" I ask looking up at him with confused eyes. 

"I got a call today ... from someone very special" He says rather serious. 

"Who?" Skyler asks bumping into our conversation. 

"Don't spoil it Scott ..." My mother walks in giving him a death glare. 

"Spoil what? Mom you've been keeping me in this house forever !!" I tell her almost yelling. 

"There's a reason for that ... pack your things ... you're going somewhere" She says starting to wash the dishes not saying another word. 

"Listen to your mother." My father jumps in picking up the newspaper. 

My eyes fill up with tears and I run to my room. 

Skyler was right behind me with her speed and hugs me.

"Don't cry baby" She says smiling and looking at my face. 

"I'm not ... I'm just annoyed at what they're doing" I say going to my closet and picking out the 

clothes I want to take with me. 

"Well ... Maybe this is a chance to find your mate." She says smirking. 

Skyler already found her mate. Slade. He's like a big brother to me. We get along well and  sometimes tag along with him and Skyler. They are both perfect for each other.

"If it makes you feel any better ... I'll come with... Your mom just got into my head saying that 

I can come with you. As long as I bring Slade" She says almost hesitant to say it. 

"You knew about this?" I ask her almost shocked. 

"Well... yesterday ... I found out. I didn't want to tell you ... because your mom ... erm ... scares me" She says backing up a little. 

I sigh. "I love you too much to be mad at you ... whatever. Where is your stuff?" I ask her looking at her empty handed. 

"Oh ... They're in the limo that's waiting outside." She answers smiling and helping me pack. 

"How did it get there so fast?" I ask. 

Slade jumps in through the window and smirks. 

"I'm not your butler , Skyler." He says smirking a little. 

"Thanks babe. " She answers him chuckling. 

"Oh you're such a lazy ass for that" I murmur zipping up my 2 big suitcases. 

"You ready ?" She asks. 

Slade picks up my two suitcases and jumps out the window. I sigh and nod.My mom and dad wait for me at the bottom of the stairs. 

"This is for the best honey" My mom says stroking my hair and nodding. 

"You'll see us soon. " My father jumps in. 

"Where exactly am I going? To some kidnappers house?" I murmur under by breath rolling my eyes. 

"You wish ... I'd probably knock the s-" My father is interrupted by my mother's death glare. 

Skyler starts laughing and shaking her head before leaving to get in the limo. 

"Ready Dez?" Slade asks putting the suitcases in the trunk. That's right. They've been giving me that nickname since 7th grade. I nod and give my parents one last look. My wolf was terrified to leave my parents. She was rather upset to go off to some place she doesn't know about. I frown.I get into the limo seat and the door shuts behind me. I stare out of the window and feel Skyler's hand on my knee. I smile at her. 

"What's with the fancy shit?" Slade asks looking around. 

"I could ask the same question ... this isn't a wedding" Skyler joins in. 

"This better be good." I say laying my head on the back of my seat.

The driver drove really fast. I don't know what the freaking rush is. 

The closer we got my wolf was becoming eager. Why ? Sometimes I just didn't get her. 

"Something's wrong." Slade says under his breath. 

We finally arrive at a big mansion that is secured by gates and boys my age surrounding those gates. They see the limo and speed up to the entrance.

"What the hell." I say as the door opens on my side. 

"Step out, Destiny" One of the guys say. 

I step out to see three guys standing in the drive way. 

"Well... he-" The guy stopped what he was saying as soon as we looked at each other. 

"Vlad?!" I squeal as I run up to him hugging him. 

He was one of my childhood friends along with Skyler and Slade. 

"Dez!!.. It's been so long." He says hugging me and letting me go right away. 

My wolf was confused but still trying to force my head to something else. What is it? I snap.Vlad pointed to some other guys and then I recognized another face. 

"Dez!!! Hey girl, hey!" Slayter says waving his hand at me. 

"What are you all doing here?" Slade asks giving them all hand shakes. 

"We're in this pack now ." Slayter answers chuckling. 

"What pack?" Skyler finally gets out the limo smiling when she saw Vlad and Slayter. 

"Let's not spoil it for Dez" Vlad says before leading the way into the mansion.

"What? How does everyone know this ... except for me?" I ask confused. 

"We don't know this." Skyler and Slade say at the same time. I sigh but then stare in awe at something so beautiful. The place was perfect. The rooms were huge and filled with what looked like expensive furniture. Wow. As I opened the door to another room I saw a bunch of people turning their heads to look at me. 

They all smiled and stared whispering. Oops.

Zayn's P.O.V

"Do you think she'll be pissed if she finds out you're her mate?" Vlad asks me as I was getting dressed. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans with a striped shirt and a leather jacket to go over it.  I put on my vanz high tops and looked into the mirror to see innocent brown eyes , black hair that was in the style of a cliff , and a sincere face. I smirked.

"She'd probably be a little shocked ... I wouldn't say mad." I say before turning towards him. 

"Are you nervous?" He asks. 

"I haven't seen her ... Of course I'm nervous ..." I say. My wolf was aching for her. 

I've been busy protecting my pack and people from the town's enemies. I haven't had a chance to meet her nor mark her. My mate. My wolf really bothered me about it. I had to do what I needed to do.I put my hands in my pockets and looked in the mirror one last time. 

"She will be here any minute ... So you be on your way to the party downstairs." Vlad says before using his speed to exit his room.

I walked down the stairs to the party to see the girls giggling and looking at me with lust in their eyes as soon as they saw me. My wolf growled angrily and I ignored the girls. The boys gave me nods and I nodded back. I walked to the front of the room where my table was place and stood there looking at my watch.  

I took a sip of tea and as soon as I turned around my wolf howled. I saw a girl standing there looking confused when she walked in. She had long black wavy hair that went to her back. Her blue eyes stood out more than ever. She was perfect. She looked my way and I looked dead into her eyes. I saw the guys staring at her and my wolf growled. She was mine. Destiny.

Destiny's P.O.V

I looked at the guy who was staring at me and my wolf began howling. I tried to hush her but something inside of me was saying something. My eyes locked on his. He was my mate.

"He's the one." I say not breaking eye contact from him but pulling on to Skyler's sleeve. He has black silky hair that formed into a cliff. His eyes was brown and adorable. His body was perfect and his style stood out more then ever.

"Shit ... Dez ... " Skyler says practically choking. 

"What?" I ask breaking my eye contact with him to look at her. My wolf was irritated. 

"That's ... that's..." She couldn't finish so I looked at Slade. 

"He's the Alpha ... " Slade says nodding towards him. 

"You mean ... " I couldn't finish. 

"Zayn Malik ... is your mate" She squeals it putting her hands over her mouth smiling hard as ever.I looked back over at my mate who looked as if he were mad at me.  

"Come here , now." A voice whispered in my head.

My wolf commanded the order and I walked over to my mate who was standing next to a table. People were staring at us and smiling.

"Ladies and gentlemen" Slade says out loud jumping on top of a table. 

"Introducing... Destiny Hawk ... Alpha's mate" He finally says before everyone starts clapping. The room finally empties realizing that it was only to introduce the Alpha's mate.

I felt hands wrap around my waist and teeth press into my neck. 

"No .... zayn ..." I whispered. 

"I want to mark you" He says in a low sexy tone. 

"Not here ..." I pull away and my wolf whimpers. 

I felt strong hands pull me forward.

"I'll meet up with you later ... you and I will be sleeping in the same room so 

the master bedroom won't be hard to find." He says in his accent that was hard to ever forget. I nod and he stares into my eyes before giving me a kiss.

"You don't know how bad I want you right now" He says before pulling away as if it were the last thing he wanted to do. He used his speed to disappear out of the room along with Slade, Vlad, and Slayter.

"He is fucking hot" Skyler says nudging me in the arm. 

"You knew who he was?" I asked. 

"Well yeah .. He's the Alpha. I just didn't know he was your mate. Damn. He's hard to catch." 

She says shaking her head. 

"I better get going with Slade, though. See you later buttercup"She says before giving me a kiss on the hair and speeding away. I sighed and started to walk upstairs to the bedroom. I opened the door only to see Zayn getting out of the shower with only a towel wrapped around waist.

"GOOD GOD... GET A SHIRT" I say throwing another towel at him. My wolf was annoyed by my behavior. I liked the view ... but man was that a tease.

"I figured since we are mates ... you wouldn't mind seeing me like this." He says looking down at the towel.

"I'm going to go pack now" I say walking past him. He grabs my hand. 

"No you're not" He demands. 

"Then I'll go take a shower" I say pushing his hand away and walking to the bathroom. 

He grabs my waist and turns me towards him. 

"Not that either" He says looking at the bathroom before looking at me. 

"I'm going to mark you" I could see lust in his eyes. My wolf was weak to him. I hated it. 

He bit his lip and pulled me closer. 

"You're ready." He says not knowing if it was a question or not. 

"Yes." I say biting my own lip. 

"It wasn't a question" He says before finally leaning in.
