Class-E just bugged Kaji. Like some flea or tick on an animal. She was unable to shake them off. Kaji was stuck with them till she killed Korosensei. That's right, after Korosensei is killed Kaji will be off. She had to force herself to remember it's just another job. She had no other reason to stay in class-E afterwards.

Kaji had found the largest fiction book she could yesterday. Well, she actually bought a book series that's actually after cats. Kaji was surprised how much she liked reading it.

Today would be the forth day of Kaji being in class-E. She planned on killing Korosensei today. She thought that the morning would be the best time. Even so, Korosensei never let his guard. Adding that into his speed and how smart he is, Kaji knew she was going to have a hard time.

The morning was quite and cool atop the mountain. Kaji was used to it though, she hoped that with the wind at her back, it would help her.

Kaji's mind had been wondering, a habit she had gotten after her father had died. She really needs to get it together. She felt a light poke to her side, but it wasn't right. Kaji's icy eyes grew with alarm. She didn't even notice anyone that has come up behind her. It was almost as if she was stabbed through the side with a sword. It gave her a chilling feeling. She whipped her head around, alarm pulsing through her body. She was shocked to find Nagisa staring up at her with a confused look.

"Something wrong, Kaji-san?" He asked. Kaji blinked, having to process everything for a second. She shook her head. "You looked like you were spacing out," he said. "Surly an assassin shouldn't lose focus?" He was joking, Kaji could tell from his voice. Even so, she didn't expect him to be able to sneak up on her so easily. "It's a bad habit," she half mumbled. She shot a quick glance down at him, he looked so, innocent. However, Kaji could sense something strange from him, he almost reminded her of a snake. On how he snuck up on her so easily. Could a snake take down a wolf?

Kaji shook off the feeling and kept on walking. At her left, she could feel Nagisa following along behind her. Kaji smiled at herself, though it was a very small smile. She picked up her pace a bit, leaving Nagisa behind, looking a bit confused.

Korosensei was placed right at the end of the steps that lead up to the building. So he was out in the open, and it gave Kaji plenty of room to move around. She clinched her fist, knowing that this was going to be a hard task.

"Korosensei." He gazed over, recognizing the heavy accent. Kaji stared up at him, her icy eyes looking a bit dazed. "Could you do me a favor?" Kaji asked. Korosensei chuckled a bit, "depending on what it is," he joked. Kaji reached up behind her back, and placed her hand on the handle of the sword that she had on her back. On a one quick motion, Kaji drew her sword and swung it straight towards Korosensei. His body moved on it's own, trying to escape from Kaji's sword. Even so, the blade sliced through one of Korosensei's tentacles. He hadn't expected Kaji's swing to be so quick. That, and why the metal blade had a effect on his skin. It was only then when his eyes wondered over to the green tale that was wrapped around the bottom half of the blade.

Kaji's face was now dark, with her blood colored hair giving her eyes a dark shaded look. Her icy eyes were sharp, and deadly. Her eyes were locked into Korosensei, glaring at him as if he was her prey.

"Die."

Korosensei quickly dashed out of the way, not wanting to take anymore damage. By now, everyone was in shock at how Kaji had been able to hurt Korosensei. Kaji knew everyone was looking at her now, but she was able to ignore it. When she had her sights set on her target, everything else seems to fade around her. Through Korosensei's eyes, he could almost see a bloodthirsty wolf standing over Kaji. Glaring at him with a fierce look and sharp blood stained teeth. Kaji was indeed a genuine assassin.

Kaji turned to face Korosensei once again. Who had found his way around Kaji. She twirled her sword around in her fingers, her gaze locked onto Korosensei. She knew how fast he could be, even so.

"Korosensei," Kaji said, her accent as thick as it could get. Kaji had already made up her mind, if she couldn't get him with this next move, then she would give up for the day. She took a single step forward, and she suddenly disappeared. Everyone flinched, except for Korosensei. He just kept on gaze back and forth, trying to find Kaji. For her bloodlust hadn't disappeared.

In a instant, Kaji appeared behind Korosensei. With her sword raised high above her head and feet off the ground.

"Your not the only one who's fast."

Kaji swung her sword, only to be met with air. Kaji tensed, Korosensei had shifted out of the way. She had failed. She felt something grab the back of her shirt. Forcing her into a emergency stop in mid air. All of Kaji's bloodlust faded and she found herself dangling in mid air.

Kaji's body went limp, and her breath was quick. She might have great speed, but something such as that took to much out of her. Kaji wasn't seven sure if she could walk.

Korosensei chuckled, raising Kaji a bit higher in the air. "I will say," he started. "I wasn't expecting you to have such speed, Kaji-san. But you need to be a lot faster to catch me." Kaji lowered her head, feeling humiliated. In a split second, it went even worse. Korosensei had brushed her red hair and had pulled them up into big pigtails on her head. Not only that, but he had also put a pair of cat ears on her head. Kaji felt her cheeks heat up.

"Dieser Hässlich Kraken! (Put me down octopus)" Kaji snapped. Too mad to even bother to speak Japanese. Korosensei chuckled to himself before he placed her on the ground. Kaji yanked the hair ties out of her hair and threw the cat ears aside. Her face still bright red. She slid her sword back into it's case on her back before she stormed off to the school building. Mumbled under her breath in her German tongue.

For the rest of the day, Kaji wasn't in a good mood. And nether was Korosensei. He had assigned a test to the class for the final period. Which was math, Kaji weakest subject. Korosensei himself was in the corner of the room, lightly punching the wall. He seemed to be sulking, but it was really just annoying. With his squishy hand making a strange sound every time it came in contact with the wall.

Kaji was just staring down at her test. With a half scowl, half blank look plastered across her face. Her head rested in one hand while she flicked her pencil back and forth in the other. She felt ashamed. She always carried out her missions. But she couldn't kill one yellow octopus. Killing was all she knew how to do, so now what?

Korosensei suddenly perked up, making a strange sound as he did. Making almost the whole class jump. "I just remembered!" He said in a hurry, almost slurring his words together. "I have something I need to do--bye!" And just like that Korosensei was out the window to who knows where. The whole class sighed.

"Korosensei hasn't been like this since Karma-kun was able to hurt him." Someone said. Kaji guessed from the voice that it was Sugino.

There was the faint sound of a chair sliding, and footsteps heading Kaji's way. She didn't pay any attention to it. That was until she felt someone poke her cheek. "I thought Kaji-chan did great." Kaji already knew who it was. Though it took her a second to realize what he has said.

Kaji flicked Karma's finger away. "-chan?" She almost mumbled. There was someone else walking over, and Kaji once again felt someone poke her cheek. "But now she's sulking." Kaji recognized Nakamura voice. Kaji ignored it, sinking down into her chair sightly.

Once again, Kaji felt Karma poke her cheek. "You shouldn't be sulking, Kaji-chan," he said, his voice sounding amused. "Not many can hurt Korosensei."

"Du Würdest es nicht verstehen (you wouldn't understand)" Kaji mumbled.

Kaji stood up from her seat, causing both Nakamura and Karma to step away. She then walked over to the door, her eyes covered by her red hair. She stood in the doorway for a second thinking she should say something. But she walked out without another word.

The sky was painted orange and pink as the sun set. Kaji kept her head down at she walked, her eyes still hidden by her hair. The street lights were already flicking on as she made her way to her apartment.

Kaji was rather pissed. At everything right now. But she was mostly pissed at herself. She couldn't kill Korosensei, and she walked out on the class. When they were trying to cheer her up. "You are in no need of friends." Her father's words rang through her head. Kaji hated it. She wished she could just disappear sometimes.

"Kaji-sannnnnnnn!" Turning her head to see who was calling out to her, Kaji jumped as Korosensei almost slammed into the sidewalk. She blinked as she watched Korosensei dust himself off. "What do you want?" She snapped, she was not in the mood to talk, especially to him. Korosensei took a deep breath before he spoke.

"I thought you might like this." He pulled out a box from knows where. When he opened the box, Kaji was confused on what she saw come out of it. Korosensei screamed like an idiot as a kitten scratched him, hissing as it did. Korosensei was eventually able to get the cat off his face, where Kaji caught the small cat in her arms. It turned around and hissed at Korosensei one last time before it turned back around to stare up at Kaji. She stared into it's beautiful bright green eyes. It's orange-red fur was soft against the palms of her hands and it just simply dangled in her grip.

"I noticed the books you were reading," Korosensei said. "I saw him wondering the streets yesterday and I thought you might enjoy him. It took me forever to find him again." Kaji stared down at the kitten then up at Korosensei, her eyes looking bright. She had no idea what to say. She gazed back down at the kitten, it purred loudly reaching for Kaji's shirt.

"Kaji-san." She gazed back up at Korosensei. He looked much more serious now. "What's holding you back?" Kaji stiffened. She lowered her head, with memories running through her mind. She couldn't find the right words, in Japanese that is. "mein Vater (my father)"

"He raised me to be a killer, and that is what I am. Even now that he's dead, he'll never leave." Her voice chocked up a bit at the end, cutting off her words. Kaji wasn't sure why she was telling Korosensei this. For some reason, something was telling her that she could trust him with her life. "You are in no need of friends," she said. "That's something he always told me. And I believed him. Everyone always looked at me like I'm a monster, they treated me like one too." Kaji felt like she could cry, everything seemed like it was lifting off her shoulders. Kaji lowered her head, trying her best to hold back her tears.

"You need go release your chains with your father," Korosensei said, his voice was soft. "He can't control you any longer. And class-E, there different. That's something special about them. No one is alone."

Kaji chucked a bit, now gazing up at Korosensei with teary eyes. "Okay, Korosensei."
