Chapter 5 : Hard

Ochako's POV:

———After Ochako kicked Bakugou, she didn't know what she expected to happen. But when Bakugou didn't blow up on her, she was surprised. When he let go of her wrist, he looked more defeated than angry with her. She had no reason to be but she felt sort of...bad. Ochako hates to see unhappy people, so naturally, she'd want to make them feel better. Even though Bakugou has been anything but kind to her, she can't help feeling like she has to make him feel better. Or at the very least apologize.

Ochako spent the whole day trying to speak to him to at least say that she was sorry for kicking him but, of course, he didn't want to speak to her. When she returned to her dorm room after another failed attempt to talk to him, she pondered what she was going to do to get him to talk to her. That's when she got the idea to write an apology letter. There was definitely a chance that Bakugou would just throw it away but there was also a chance that he'd read it.

Ochako then got to writing...

The letter read: "Hey, I know you're probably really upset with me but hear me out...I know I shouldn't have kicked you and I feel really bad for doing that to you. I just kind of ran out of patience with you. You've been really horrible to me all school year and I grew tired of your treatment towards me. I don't know what I did to you to make you hate me but I really hope that you could at least forgive me for kicking you. I don't want anyone to think that I hate them for any reason; not even you. So please accept my apology."

After reading over her letter, she paced around her room to build up the courage to give it to him. 'You can do this! Just go to his room, hand him the paper, and leave. It's that simple...' she thought. Her heart was racing and she was worried that he might be enraged upon seeing her at his door. But Ochako pushed those feelings aside and headed to Bakugou's room.

When she got to his door, she took a deep breath and knocked. After a few moments, he opened the door for her. Seeing him standing over her was nerve wracking. But he didn't look like his usual agitated self. He looked a lot more disheveled and anxious. Immediately, she abandoned her plan as she grew worried for him.

"Are you ok??? You look terrible. Do you need medicine?" she asked frantically.

Bakugou furrowed his eyebrows and tensed up. "I'm...fine..." he said through gritted teeth. "Now leave me alone." he stated firmly before beginning to close the door.

Ochako, still worried and still wanting to give him her letter, stopped him from closing the door all the way. "If you're not feeling well, it's not good to ignore it. I know you don't want to listen to me but at least-" she started before being cut off.

Bakugou, in attempts to intimidate her, moved closer to Ochako, leaned against the door frame, leaving not even an inch of space between him and Ochako. "And why the hell should I take advice from you, Pink Cheeks?" he said with an unimpressed expression.

Even though the two weren't talking on good terms in the moment, Ochako felt butterflies in her stomach and felt her body tense up. She was so close to him that she could feel the warmth of his body on hers. It felt nice. But this caused her to get flustered. She started breathing a bit heavier than before and her cheeks were now a bright red color.

"I...I was just worried a-about your well-being..." she said quietly as she looked down in embarrassment. Little did she know, looking down was a bad move. She noticed the bulge protruding from his pants. Her heart skipped a beat and she let out a faint gasp.

At the same time, Bakugou's eyes widened as he  realized that she had seen his boner. Out of embarrassment, he retreated into his room and shut the door on Ochako. "Go away!" he yelled from the inside of his room.

Ochako was absolutely dumbfounded by what she just saw...but she was also a little turned on by it. She stared at the closed door for a moment before shaking her head and snapping back to reality. 'I didn't know Bakugou of all people could get hard.' she thought. 'Wait, why should I care? That's not what I'm here for.' Ochako then squatted down and was about to slide her letter under his door but then her mind drifted again. 'Could it be...that I'm the cause of his boner? No...that's not possible. Or...is it-?' She thought long and hard before ultimately giving up on trying to figure out Bakugou's "boy problems".

She knocked on Bakugou's door again before sliding the letter under his door. She returned to her room and hoped that he read her letter before going to bed.———
