Chapter 23

Luke's POV

I walk into the studio and Alex and Reggie are in there talking to a ghost named Willie. We've spoken a few times but I didn't really know him all that well. Why is he here?"

"Hey Luke, where have you been?" Reggie says.

"Just around the club." I say. "What's going on in here?"

"Luke, we have a couple of questions about Samantha." Alex says.

"Oh, well I don't really know her that well." I say. "But I can try to answer some."

"Luke...just a bit ago she took me to a back room and you and Caleb were talking." Reggie says.

"Really?" I say. "That's weird I haven't spoken to Caleb since we last practiced."

"Really!?" Reggie says getting up off the couch. "Because you were saying some pretty weird things, well not needed just weird for you. Well, not that I know but it's just...you were talking about how you are only trying to trick me and Alex to destroy our souls but I'm like Luke would never hurt us though but I was like well we did just meet and I didn't know what to belief but if you didn't talk to Caleb then something else must be going on, right?" His words came out so fast j almost couldn't understand him.

"Slow down so he can actually understand you." Alex says.

"Right sorry." Reggie says. "I-"

"It's okay, I got it all." I say. "And I want you both to know that I wouldn't do something like that. Alex, we may have gotten off on the wrong foot but I feel like we can be good friends. And Reggie..."I look over at Alex. Would he support Reggie dating another guy?

"Oh, it's okay Alex knows." Reggie says reading my mind. "I told him all about our date, he's cool."

"Well, Reggie, I love you so I'd never do anything to harm you."

"Y-You...you love me?" He says. I realized what I had said now. I just said it without even having to think about it, and now that I am thinking about it, I do. I do love him. Is that crazy? To fall in love with someone you just met?

"Yeah." I say. "I mean, I don't know why I said it out loud, but I do."

"I love you too." Reggie says.

Reggie's POV

I just said it back without a second thought. I do love him. I don't care if I just met him I am in love with him.

He just stares and smiles at me and I can't help but stare and smile back.

"Alright you two are real cute but are we not gonna talk abut the fact that Reggie saw you talking to Caleb." Alex says. "Someone is either pretending to be you Luke, or there's more about Samantha we don't know."

"Why Samantha?" I ask.

"Well she is the one who showed you, isn't she" Alex asks and I nod. "Willie do you know anything?" Alex asks.

"Yeah, actually." Willie says. "Samatha is my sister....and Caleb is our dad. All three of us posses powers. So, Reggie what you saw was just an illusion."

"So is Samantha not on our side or what?" Luke asks. "Can we trust her?"

"I honestly don't know, but I don't think so." Willie says. "You can't trust Caleb either, but don't let them know you're on to them."

"And what about you?" Luke asks.

"Honestly, I don't know what my dad could make me do. He owns my soul, so if he even found out I was telling you all this, he'd destroy me. You can't trust me either."

"But you're helping us, that has to count for something." Alex says.

"I can't risk putting you in danger, look I should go." Willie says. "Please just be carful, and if you want to get out of here, I'd suggest getting your memories back." And with that Willie poofed away.

"What does he mean get our memories back?" Alex asks.

"I think we know." Luke says looking at me. "When we kissed, I go this memory...only it hasn't happened." He says.

"Yeah, same here." I say. "Do you think it's one of these lost memories?"

"It has to be." Luke says.

"So, how are we gonna get our memories back?" Alex asks.

"I don't know." I shrug. "Luke?"

"We'll figure something out, and we'll get out of here before Caleb even knows what's happening."
