Chapeter 7: According to Plan

Julie's POV

After I leave Flynn's place, I decided to head to Carrie's. Maybe she up to hang out.

I knock on the door and Bobby or Trevor or whatever is real name is answers.

"Julie, it's good to see you." He smiles. I give him a fake smile back. He took Luke's songs, lied to his fans. I want to expose him but Luke said we didn't have any proof anyways and that i was right, we have new songs now that we're better anyways.

"Good to see you too." I say. "Is Carrie home?"

"Uh...yeah she's in her room." Trevor says. "You girls are friends again?"

"Sorta." I say. "Yeah...yeah we are." I want to be at least, and it seems like she does too.

"Carrie!" He calls for her. "Here come in." I walk into the house and Carrie comes down the stairs, looking a bit surprised to see me.

"Julie?" She says. "What are you doing here?"

"I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out?" I say.

"Really?" She says. "Oh...um yeah sure. Um, Dad....can I?"

"Yeah of course, go have fun." He says.

"Alright, um...I'll be right back just let me grab my shoes." She says, heading back upstairs. Once she was gone Trevor looks back at me, but not with the warm smile he usually wears.

"So.... You could always see the boys? How does that work?"

What was be talking about? He couldn't know about the Phantoms, could he? I mean I know they're viable to everyone now so it's possible he recognized them but how would be know I could see them all along?

"What are you talking about?" I ask, playing dumb.

"Luke, Alex, and Reggie." Trevor says. "I'm sure they already told you I was in their band in 1995 and that I stole their songs."

My mouth goes numb. So he did know.

"You know Julie, you must be a really special person if you can make them viable when they play music. And now they're viable to everyone. How amazing is that?"

"Look, I have no idea what your talking about." I say.

"Yes you do Julie, and I'm sorry for this, but I have to do this." Before I realize what's happening, I black out.

Thrid Person

Carrie comes back down the stairs excited her old friend want to hang out with her again. But when she came downstairs, Julie was gone.

"Where did Julie go?" Carrie asks her dad.

The answer was that he had shoved her into a closet after knocking her out to take her to the Hollywood Ghost Club as Caleb instructed. But if course, he couldn't tell his daughter that.

"She had to go." Bobby says. "Said something about Flynn."

"Oh....okay." Carrie says trying not to sound too dissapointed. She was always second best to Flynn. When they were friends, it was Flynn this and Flynn that.

Right before they got into their huge fight that ended their friendship, Julie said something that was comparing her to Flynn and Carrie was tired of being cast in Flynn's shadow.... Flynn's understudy.

She was mad at herself for ever believing that things would be different and that her and Julie were gonna be friends again. Low and behold she left her for Flynn just like she did time and time again when they were friends. Carrie ran up to her room and cried in her bed, wondering why life couldn't be easier.

Reggie's POV

Miraculously we escaped Caleb, but Luke says he might have done something to him and we shouldn't always trust him. I think he's just being a bit paranoid, I mean I'm pretty sure I'd know if Luke was being possessed, he's my best friend. And Alex would know too. We just know Luke too well for Caleb to pretend to be him.

"Hey Reg." Luke says coming into the studio.

"Hey." I smile and wave at him. He come over to me and looks over my shoulder at a song I'm writting standing at the piano.

"Will They, Won't They." He reads. I quickly shut the book so he wouldn't read more.

"It's nothing." I say. "Just a stupid song for fun."

"Well once it's done can I see it?" Luke asks.

"Oh, I'm probably not even gonna finish it's not even that good. I might just throw it away."

"Oh don't say that." Luke says. "I'm sure it'll be amazing."

He always believed in me and in the songs I write, note than anyone. So I can't help but smile when he says he thinks it'll be amazing. The song was actually about him, so that why I don't want to show him. I kinda have a crush on him.

I just know that I can never tell him how I feel because it'll ruin our friendship, the band, everything. Besides, why would someone as totally awesome and cool as him like someone like me?

"Thanks." I say.

"Yeah, of course buddy." He says. "Wanna go to the park?"

"Oh...sure." I say. Normally we go to the beach, we both like it more than the park, but we also enjoyed going to the park together so I didn't think much of it. "Let's go."

Caleb's POV

Luke has been fighting me less which is a good sign. The more control I have the better. When I walk into the studio Reggie is writing something in his journal.

"Hey Reg." I say walking up to him.

"Hey." He smiles back and waves. I look over his shoulder and read some of the song he was writting. It was a love song, obviously about Luke.

I mean, listen to this.

A relationship that shoulda been,But neither one could see so they just stayed friends.

Honestly, these two are so in love and are blind to it, it makes me sick. How hard is it just to tell each other they love each other. If I wasn't so evil I would help them.

"Will They Won't They." I say reading the title. Reggie quickly shuts the book and blushes. Yeah it was deffiently about Luke.

"It's nothing. Just a stupid song for fun." Reggie says. I restrain from rolling my eyes. What would Luke say?

"Well once it's done, can I see it?." I ask.

Oh, I'm probably not even gonna finish it's not even that good. I might just throw it away." Reggie says. This boy really has no self confidence at all. It's honestly tiring being Luke all the time. 

"Oh don't say that." I say. "I'm sure it'll be amazing."  And I am actually telling the truth, all three boys are extremely talented so of course it'll be amazing.

"Thanks." Reggie says smiling and blushing.

"Yeah of course buddy." I say. Now I just need to get him out of the studio for my next part of the plan. "Wanna go to the park?"

Reggie agrees and we go to the park. Perfect. Everything was going according to plan. Trevor better not screw up, because the next part of the plan relies on him.
