Chapter 3: Backstory

Aaron's POV

I stood there, looking at the door even though she had already gone downstairs. She wanted me to call her by name?

I couldn't believe she would do that. No Alpha wants to be addressed by name. She was someone special.

I didn't know what to do, so I took out my phone to text my childhood friend.

(FC= Aaron, Shu= ???) If you've watched mystreet or PDH, you already know who Shu is.

FC- Hey Shu, how are you?

Shu- Hey FC! I'm great, how about you?

FC- I'm in a new pack. The Alpha is super nice.

Shu- Really? Boy or Girl?

FC- Girl.

Shu- That's cool. Someone new came into my pack.

FC- Boy or Girl?

Shu- Boy. Kinda quiet though. He still calls me Alpha.

FC- I know you don't like it when people call you Alpha.

Shu- I gotta go FC. Bye!

FC-Bye!

I put my phone away and fall asleep on my bed.

~Two hours Later~

I'm laying on my bed when someone knocks on my door.

"Come in." I say.

Aphmau comes in. I sit up strait.

"Aaron?" she asks.

"Yes Alpha?" I ask back.

"It's Aphmau. I was wondering if you were coming down to meet everyone."

"Um....." I didn't want to, but she was the Alpha. Was this a test of obedience? "Sure, I'll be down in a minute."

She smiled. "Great! See you then Aaron!"

"Bye Alph- I mean, Aphmau."

She walked out of the room.

Ten minutes later, I make my way downstairs. Aphmau, Garroth, and Laurence are standing in human form. Around them are 10 Wolves. One with blue fur transforms into a girl with blue hair and eyes.

"This is Katelyn." Aphmau says.

I don't want to be repetitive, so I'm going to list everybody and what they look like as a Wolf. Don't forget that if the name is in bold, then it's one of my OC's.

Travis: White fur with green tips and green eyes.

Vylad: Green fur with brown tips and green eyes.

Zane: Black fur with black tips and ice blue eyes.

Zara: Black fur with silver tips and ice blue eyes.

Cadenza: Fiery red-orange fur with yellow tips and blue eyes.

Ashley: Blonde fur with purple tips and blue eyes.

Dante: blue fur with navy blue tips and blue eyes.

Gene: Grey fur with black tips and teal-blue eyes.

Asteria (Me): Purple fur with silver tips and grey eyes.

After everyone introduced themselves, I went into town with Aphmau for food. She wore a hood with a cape to hide her ears and tail. I just hid my ears and tail naturally.

"Alph-Aphmau?" I say as we walk.

"Yes Aaron?"

"Do you know how to hide your ears and tail?"

She looks down. "No. My parents couldn't teach me."

"If you don't mind me asking, why couldn't they?"

She looks up at me. "After our original pack was attacked, we became part of Ein's pack. When they went out to hunt and didn't come back with anything, Ein.....Killed them."

I take her hand and she doesn't pull away.

"Ever since then I've wanted to get revenge. I left his pack, and formed my own with other werewolves that needed an Alpha." she stops outside the market.

"If you want, I can teach you how to hide them." I offer.

"I would like that Aaron."

We walk into town and get meat, bread, fruit, and some cupcakes.

As we're walking back, I glance at her. She's pulled her hood down, revealing her ears. She's actually kind of cute. But I love Shu. As we keep walking I realize her story sounds similar to what Shu told me she did after we split up.
