Chapter 23 | Back to School

Morning had came and the girls had to get ready for school. Apple Jacks truck was at the side of the road consisting of her Books, while RD tried to help her with clothes. Rainbow was groggy and didn't like having to be up pass 5am but she had to deal with it she gave the girl before her a T-Shirt, and they decided she would wear the same jeans and her Flannel to.

The girl went to get dressed as RD got her own clothes, she closed her door to change getting dressed with some sweat pants with her usual T-shirt , let's say this girl had Tees galore. She had Band Tees to just her plain old signature branded ones. And to top off her outfit with the T-shirt she had  her Varsity Jacket. She simply dressed and went out her room to go and help Derpy before seeing the Blonde. She froze observing her, she found Apple Jack in one her said signature T-shirts. It was just a white shirt with The cloud , having a Blue, Yellow and Red like pattern of a lightning bolt. She then liked how it blended a bit well with the flannel.

"Earth to Rainbow Dash?" Apple Jack said before laughing, "Are ya there?" The blonde then noticed the girls face tint up, yep something was on this girls mind but she wasn't going to say anything. Her emerald eyes slightly rolled as she let out a light laugh. "That was to cute." The blonde thought to herself.

"I-huh?...Oh hey Apple.." the cyan girl said feeling flushed by being in a trance, "Anyways, meet you outside." The girl,went into Derpys room. During that time she had managed to help Derpy get ready and her bag. She then hugged the girl before noticing Windy walking in to. Derpy had a doctors appointment so she wasn't going to school.  The Rainbow haired girl hugged her mother and then headed out the door, she grabbed her bag and headed down the stairs. Once outside she saw the same girl she had seemed to be spending all her time with.

AJ leaned against the truck and kept her arms crossed she smiled at the girl who  clearly was not excited for today. They got in the truck and now headed off.

The girls soon drove into the CHS parking lot, They seemed to be early, which Apple Jack was almost always early, this seemed peaceful in Rainbows opinion. Most the time once she got to school it was crowded and loud, they walked in and Instantly AJ was greeted by a certain girl. "Oh Apple Jack! It's so nice to see you." Rarity said as she grabbed the Farm girls hand which AJ had given a smile, and nervously laughed, "Rarity, we saw each other yesterday." She seemed to blush lightly, she's never seemed to notice how close Rarity was till now. She then notice Rainbow go around them and felt slight worry hit her, what if Rainbow thought her and Rarity was something. No she didn't want her to think that, yes Rarity was sweet and generous , but AJ liked Rainbow and not Rarity.

"Oh yes Darling, but yesterday feels like for an eternity." The preppy girl had exaggerated, now leaning into the farm girl and again as always acting as though she could faint any minute. "Right, well don't worry." She then carefully patted Raritys shoulder and looked to where Rainbow Sat now. Rarity saw worry in the girls green eyes and turn to see the Motley haired girl. "Oh , when did Rainbow Dash get here?" She asked which AJ seemed to look at her. "She road with me.." Apple Jack replied and then decided to slip pass the Pale girl and go to Rainbow.

The Violet'ed hair watched and seemed to feel her heart sink slightly, now for sure Apple Jack would not be interested. She watched as AJ sat and spoke to Rainbow, which Rainbow seemed to be showing a sign of well, hurt? Did she upset Rainbow? She wasn't sure but she noticed how much care and tenderness in AJs eyes, oh how she wished the blonde would look at her that way. She sighed now turning just to be met yet again with the same male as of yesterday.

"Whoa, sorry.. we really should stop bumping into each other like this." The male said he scratched the back of his neck turning to his locker. He looked to Rarity and noticed his and her locker wear beside each other. The pale girls hair bounced and her eyes were beautiful.

"You mean, you need to stop bumping into me." She protested as for Soarin he raised a brow. His green eyes then scanned to his locker. "Right-?" He replied and then noticed the girl putting on lip gloss staring at the small mirror in her locker. He then shrugged his shoulders. "Why do girls even wear that stuff?" He asked Rarity whos eyes scanned to look at his through the reflective glass. "Simple to give our lips a shiny lustre finish." She noticed a slight confusion.

"Basically so our lips are shiny and pretty as though they was like diamonds." She then adjusted her hair and closed her locker. Who even was this guy? Soarin nodded. "Ah, cool but Why? Isn't every one pretty already?" He asked putting his hand to his pocket and carried his bag over his shoulder with his free hand. He liked talking to the girl but he felt as though she was very out of her league and wondered why she was speaking to him at all.

"Yes- but we like to show how confident make up can make us girls feel." She seemed to look at the male and wondered why on earth he showed interest at all. Suddenly she noticed another familiar face, "Ah good morning to you Sunset Shimmer." She turned about and then looks back a second waving to The male. Her eyes shimmered slightly.

Soarin watched and waved back before the pale girl could even notice , he smiled now scratching the back of his neck before being greeted by some his fellow team mates.

Apple Jack was by RD she noticed the girl's body language easily. "Hey?" She started, the Rainbow Haired looked aside, yep she was upset. "What's wrong now?" The blonde asked. Her hand went to Dash' arm and then she noticed how the girl pulled away.

"Patience Apple Jack, Patience." The girl told herself. She leaned back against the lockers and looked at RD, she seemed to melt admiring her. And she knew Rainbow Dash could feel her gaze to , because the girl turned back to her. "Stop it." Is all escaped the blushing girl.

Rainbows eyes traced up, she saw Sunset and Rarity. She then turned away fast , causing the other two girls to be slightly confused. Rarity looked aside a second as Apple Jack shrugged and well Sunset looked between the two. She sensed something was up but the Red and golden haired sat down with them. Rarity stayed standing.

Eventually the rest of the girls came with in the hour. And they all headed towards the main room they liked to be in. It was their own area to work in, incase of well Magic attacks or what ever. Sunset had sat with Twilight to talk over the different Magics and energy's.Pinkie was being pinkie Making Fluttershy let out a soft giggle. Rainbow was practicing her guitar while AJ watched, then suddenly AJ was interrupted by the same pale girl from earlier. "Hello Apple Jack." She said to the southern, who now turned her attention to her. "Hey Rarity, what's up?"

"Oh , nothing really darling I just , wanted to ask you something but, right now is not the time it seems." She started to get up as Apple Jack looked at her. "If it's important you can ask now." The blonde stood, before having an odd feeling it would be a question she wouldn't want to answer. "Ok, ummm Do you have experience about girls?" She watched the Violet girl play with her hair. "Sorry to say it this way, but news flash, I am one." That caused the Pale girl to blush and hesitate. Clearing her throat she started. "Ah right, what I mean is, Have you ever, umm?" She kept nervously playing with her hair as Apple Jack tilted her head. "Spit it out?.." she noticed a sigh come from Rarity. "Here, how about later you ask me since me and you have third period together?" The Blonde insisted as the Blue eyed girl nodded.

Rarity seemed to get called over to Where Pinkie and Fluttershy were, joining the conversation as AJ now looked to Rainbow, Who now put the guitar down, she sat on the floor. She groaned.

If Rainbow knew that when she came back to school , just to witness the Prettier girl to try and show interest with Apple Jack, she would skipped again.

She felt Jealous..

Oh well

Back to school.

// I had fun writing this chapter, I'm liking the side story of Rarity and Soarin ok it's cute in my mind- and well Jealous Rainbow , maybe I'll add more if a chapter wirh full on Jealous RD hmm , I mean why not lol - 🥝 //
