That was what I was feeling.

But could you blame the virgin that was about to get deflowered? I knew that the feelings I had for Melo were very flagrant and that was clear to see but I feel if you save and give yourself to the person you love then, the relationship is at a whole different level at that point. It all happened so suddenly too.

I had never been with a nigga that made me question my sanity before but when I'm with him, reality almost feels as if it ceased to exist. My conflicts and problems always seem to recede whenever I see his damn face. It didn't make sense, but I honestly found it delightful.

"Are you sure, baby?" Melo had a questioned look on his face. His brows furrowed a bit waiting for my answer

A while back, I had admitted to him that I was a virgin and he told me that he was willing to wait until I thought the time was right. The way he had responded to me being a virgin only made me want to give myself up to him even more.

I knew I wanted this with him and there was nothing, and I mean nothing that could change my mind.

I nodded my head, answering his question in silence.

At first I was confused as he began to look around for something that obviously wasn't visible to his eye.

But then it came to me.

I rose my legs to my chest and hugged my knees while he shifted around the hotel room to find the thing that would prevent us from having children.

"Fuck.." Melo cursed under his breath.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked him as he plopped back down on the bed.

"I ain't got no damn condom."

Devastated, I let out a small sigh. I mean I really was looking forward to getting my virginity taken tonight from the nigga I loved but I guess some things are meant to be waited out. Shit, enough being positive.. I really wanted him to just go in me raw.

But maybe that wasn't the best idea.

He looked so damn sexy in those boxers of his. Turned away from me, I had a full view of his back. His back muscles flexed as he put pressure on the bed to rest his arms backward.

"Damn, now next time I should probably come prepared huh?" He turned back, his attention on me.

I let out a small laugh, "Damn straight."

Melo turned his full body towards me and caressed my face, "Don't worry, when we make love it's gone be special. I promise."

I couldn't help but nod and believe every single word.—The sun attempted to peak through the dark clouds. I slid my head down a little lower, still leaning against the window.

The day had come where Melo and I would finally have to go home back to our people.

I was dreading it to say the least.

Even though I was thinking things over about what happened with Madison and Kyle I just couldn't bring myself to imagine us ever having a trustworthy relationship again. Especially with Madison.

"What's on yo mind, mammas?" Melo found my thigh and squeezed it as he took a quick look at me then focused on the road ahead of him.

"I don't know if I can go back home to that.. to them." I shook my head revisioning Madison and Kyle layed up in the bed together.

"You wanna just run away then? Me and you? Cuz i'll make it happen, shit." Melo offered.

"As good as that sounds, I don't think we should do that." I let out a laugh and look up at him to see a smile across his face while he looked forward as the light in front of us turned green.

Even though Melo lifted my mood with his silly ass idea, I still couldn't keep my mind off the situation I'm dealing with.

Slowly, my eyes fluttered shut and allowed myself to go deep into thought about the situation before me.~

The large, white apartment entry door stood before as I anxiously fiddled around with my hands. Since I stormed out of here the day before, I wasn't thinking to bring my keys.

Taking a deep I quickly twisted the knob, hoping it was unlocked.

It wasn't.

I allow myself to roll my eyes seeing as someone on the inside had to open the door.

Scarily, the door quickly opened and a distressed Madison came into view. Her weave was every which way, and she look like she had been crying because her mascara was running down her face, but at least she actually had clothes on this time.

"Oh my god! Thank god you're okay!" She yelped, and pulled me into her, hugging me.

My hands were down to my sides and I didn't plan on bringing them up to hug her back either. Still feeling betrayed, I wriggled my body so she could get the message that I did not want to be hugged.

"Stop." I say, looking down. I didn't want to see her face.

"Maya, I'm so sorry I didn't tell you! Please, hear me out. Let me explain!" Ignoring her, I started walking toward the hallway, making my way toward my room.

"Maya! You have to understand-"

I cut her off, "No! Shut yo ass up! I don't have to understand anything! I trusted you, and what did you do? Go behind my back and sleep with my brother. Do you know how much of a hoe you sound like right now? Just leave me the fuck alone and go suck my brother off or something. I'm tired of this bullshit. God, I can't wait until you get on that plane to go back to Michigan!" At this moment hot tears were streaming down my face. Madison had drips coming from her eyes too but I didn't care.

I just slammed the door in her face.

Heading over to my closet I pulled out an overnight bag and started packing my things because I sure as hell wasn't staying here.

I couldn't even take my own advice in hearing her out but I honestly didn't want to. It felt better to stay mad her than to hear her side of the story so she could consider herself the victim.

Picking up my phone, I dialed the only person that I could trust.

"You okay? How it go, shawty?"

I sniffled into the phone, "Can you turn around and come and get me?"

"I'm on my way now."

And then the phone call ended.

Grabbing my bag, I opened the door and slowly crept to the front door.

I guess I wasn't as sneaky as I thought because Kyle grabbed my arm before I could reach the door. He had small bags under his eyes and had a sympathetic look in his eyes.

"And where do you think you going?"

"Anywhere but here with the two snakes." I shrugged snatching away from his hold.

"Oh my god don't be like that, M."

"Don't be like what Kyle? She was my bestfriend!"

"What do you mean I don't get it? You both went behind my back and you of all people should know how I feel. Your my brother for crying out loud!"

"Maya, you're overreacting. Calm down." He rolled his eyes trying to reason with me.

"Im not! You didn't have to screw my best friend, you jack ass."  I didn't want to hear any of it anymore.

Turning back to the door, I opened and walked out ignoring the calls for my name from behind me.

I thought that I was going to forgive them but seeing there faces made me hate them even more.

If they couldn't get it through their heads that they both broke my trust, then I would just have to show them.
