Chapter Seven

The four turtles sat in the car. They'd been on the road for an hour already, bored, hot and anxious. Well mainly Leo. Raph noticed how he hadn't looked away from the window for the past hour. Mikey and Don were in the front seat chatting away and listening to music, so Raph took the opportunity to talk to Leo.

"Leo..?" Raph spoke softly turning his body half way to face Leo. Leo heard his brother and hesitantly faced Raph. "Yeah." He replied bluntly. He was still trying to sound tough. Although Raph could see right through him. He was scared, him and Y/N were the only ones who saw what that new figure was and they were too afraid to say anything, well only Leo was. He'd asked Y/N not to say anything, He knew that due to how whenever the group asked about what happened she'd look straight at Leo.

Raph sighed, "look Leo, I know ya scared. I ain't stupid." He smiled warmly at Leo. "Tell me what happened." Leo shook his head. Raph inhaled angrily, "at least tell me what ya saw." Raph continued as calmly as possible. I heard the music turn lower as Leo began to speak. "They have a mutant, a tall scaly mutant. It reaches around eight foot, he's a crocodile."

Behind the turtles was a small yellow car filled with none other than their lovers. April and karai were in the front, karai was driving while April was trying to disconnect the tracker on each of their phones so the turtles couldn't find them.

Y/N sat in the back with Casey, Casey was helping her re-wrap her bandages around her leg. She hissed in pain as Casey tied a tight knot. "Sorry.." he replied to her hiss.

The turtles entered the city. It was loud and full of people. It looked normal. Too normal for Raph's liking. It was early morning when they arrived, they'd have to wait till dark to snoop around. Until then though they texted their partners letting them know that they were safe. Although Raph texted Casey asking what they were up to.

"Ah shit!" Casey yelled. Karai slammed the car breaks and everyone snapped their heads at Casey. "What is it!?" Karai's yelled at him. "Raph just asked what we were up to. What the fuck do I say?!" Casey yelled back. "Tell him were outside.....doing.....uh" April started. "Collecting sticks for a morning fire!" Y/N continued. "It's fucking boiling! He won't belt that!" Casey yelled. Panic arose in the car as another ding came from Casey's phone. It was Raph.

"Case? Ya there?"

"Ye, sorry got distracted. We're going for a drive."

"You idiot why would You say that!?" April yelled. "I'm sorry I thought it was reasonable and believable!" Casey shouted. "Of course it's believable, because we are going for a drive numb nuts." She yelled back sarcastically.

"Cool. Where?"

"We're getting some take away for breakfast."

"Seriously. Where the fuck is there a take away shop in the middle of no where Casey Jones!" Y/N yelled. "The servo! Up ahead!" He yelled.

"Your in the middle of no where Case where are you going to get take away for breakfast."

"There a Servo not far from the house. We were bored and hungry so we went on a little drive."

"Oh ok."

Everyone sighed, karai was just about to start driving again when another ding came from Casey's phone. "Shit." He said. Everyone turned to face Casey again. "He wants to FaceTime."

"I'm in the car though."

"Yeh ik, everyone wants to say hi."

"Ok."

"Casey why the fuck did you agree, we've passed the servo already!" Karai yelled. "Because if I didn't he would've caught on!" Casey yelled back.

Casey's phone started to go off. He lifted it up again. It said Raph❤️. Casey inhaled then answered the phone. Only showing his face. "Hey Raph."

"Hey Jones. Guys! I'm on the phone to the guys c'mere!"

The other three turtles ran over as Casey passed the phone to April to sit on the dash so they could see everyone. Casey and Y/N leant forward to block out the back windows from their view.

"So what did ya get for breakfast?" Raph asked.

"We haven't arrived at the servo yet. We'd just left not to long ago."

"Hey guys!" Mikey yelled through the phone.

He earned a big hello and a smile from everyone.

"Oh! Guys we'll call you later. The servo is just up ahead!" April yelled quickly getting a goodbye form everyone. April waved then hung up the phone leaving everyone to exhale the long breath they were holding.

"One thing they can not do is lie." Don said as the phone screen turned black. "What do ya mean Don?" Leo asked. "I mean I saw the servo in the distance from the back mirror before Casey and Y/N moved forward to block it. They're not getting food, they getting us."

Cheers filled the car as relief flooded over their them. They continued driving till they got near Casey's apartment. Parking the car in an alleyway as the turtles would know that this was April's car.

They'd entered Casey's room. It was still trashed from what had happened those months ago. Everything was quiet and happy until they stepped into the living room. As they walked in the gasped stood awkwardly to be greeted by four angry turtles.

Every couple stood in a different part of the apartment, the turtles scolding their partners for their actions. Raph and Casey were in the kitchen, April and Don were in the bathroom. Karai and Leo were in the living room and Mike and Y/N were in the bedroom.

Yelling flooded the small home, Raph and Casey sat in silence. Casey lent himself against the counter as Raph did against the Table. "What were you thinking." Raph started. Casey looked up to meet Raph's emerald green eyes, they showed fear and disappointment. "I-" Casey started but was cut off by Raph. "Ya weren't. And now your in New York City which is crawling with foot soldiers that want both you and April. And a eight foot mutant crocodile that's hunting us and anyone that smells remotely similar to us!" Raph's voice grew louder blocking the other yells that flooded the apartment.

Raph grabbed Casey and threw him in the bathroom. Along with karai, April and Y/N. Don locked the door breaking it so they couldn't get out. They were going to stay there until the turtles were sure th exits was safe or that monster was killed.

It'd been hours, it was night time. The girls were laying on Casey's legs and chest. Using him as a pillow. His was tired as well but couldn't sleep with all this weight on him. He didn't mind, as long as the girls were fine. He was too. He sat still leaning his arm against the side of the bath. April was in between his legs her back pressed against his stomach, karai was on top of her except on her stomach resting her head on April's and I's thigh. Y/N's head was on my shoulder. She was curled in a ball I presume she was cold. The only thing similar to a blanket in here was a towel. It'd have to do for now.

Another hour later. Casey could feel the girls shivers, they were freezing.  Stupid turtles. He thought to himself. The door opened roughly, Leo and Raph stepped inside hovering over us. As they got closer Casey quickly pretended to sleep, to avoid any unwanted arguments. Leo picked up Karai and April while Raph grabbed Casey and Y/N.

Casey felt warmth as he was gently placed down onto a bed. Raph and Leo smiled as they saw their lovers as their brothers lovers all cuddled up in the bed. They'd felt pretty guilty about locking them in the bathroom. Not realising that it was filled with cold tiles.

They should have been back sooner if it weren't for their injuries. Raph and Leo walked out into the living room to talk to their guest.

Casey waited twenty minutes before leaving the bed to get a drink. He'd hoped the turtles would be asleep. But when he entered the living room his gasped and turned pale. Raph turned to face Casey as he heard him gasp. He watched as Casey's eyes stared they were confused and scared at the sight. Casey kept blinking wondering if the large mutant crocodile would leave, but he didn't. He instead smiled and his raspy voice spoke softly, "Good evening, I'm Leatherhead."
