Chapter 11

I woke up, the house was empty, not even Jc was with me or Johnny.

"Uh...guys?" i called out but no answer

Johnny walked in the door with Jc giggling,

"Oh good mornin baby" johnny said

"Good mornin babe" I said smiling

"Everyone doing their own thing?",i asked

"Yep, darry, steve, soda their at work, Dal and blaze are at bucks

Two is at the drive in with pony"he said

Jc ran up to me

"M-mama" Jc said stuttering

I looked at johnny in shock, he smiled, "he said that at the park looking around for ya" Johnny said

Jc hugged me so I hugged him back

"Lil mama's boy aintcha buddy?" I said softly

He giggled and crawled onto the couch with me and Johnny sit down next to us.

Few minutes later, Dal and blaze walked through the door

"Uncle's!" Jc said giggling, he crawled off the couch and ran to dal, and being a softy dal picked him up and spun him around imitating a rocket.

Jc started laughing, blaze sit next to me,

"Such a family girl now aintcha sis?" he asked smirking

"Pretty much, but as ya know i still fight." i said

"True, but I bet you'll go soft like ol dal here" he said so only i can hear

"Yknow, I probably will" I said with a chuckle

(an hour passes, the boys arrive all riled up)

Soda sit on the floor with Jc, their play fightin, lil Jc's winning

Blaze and Two-bit are having an arm wrestle, me n dal are watching tv while darry reads newspaper pony and Johnny went to the the lot they been gone for awhile.

"Imma head to bucks, I told him I'd be there for his party tonight" dal said

"Cya dal" everyone says

"Bye bye uncle"Jc says,

"Cya guys, and cya kiddo" he says walking out the door.

Pony walks in the door without johnny,

"Where the hell have you been pony? Its 2am" darry said angry.

"With Johnny at the lot, we fell asleep, Johnny said he wanted to stay a bit longer" pony said

"You understand that I wouldn't be able to call the fuzz to look for you? Because you'd get out in a boys home!" darry said violently

"I didn't mean to darry lay off" pony said scaredly,

"I didn't mean to, I forgot, it won't happen again. That's all i hear from you pony, I'm sick of it" darry said shaking his head.

"Forget this. Im taking a Damn walk."

Pony said.

"Pony don't go walking out, you could get hurt" i said worried.

" whatever Ailee, i can handle myself he said running out.

Johnny's pov

I woke up to pony shaking me, and telling me to go with him to the park

"Man..darry done flipped out on me again. I swear he doesn't care" pony said shaking his head

"Nah man he cares, he's just strict and protective is all" I said as we sat on top of the monkey bars

We were smoking, then the blue mustang pulled up,

Bob and Randy got out with 2 other soc's, I put my cigarette out and we hopped down to face them.

Bob poured his drink on pony,

"You know what greasers are? White trash with long greasy hair" Bob says.

"Y-yknow what soc's are?" pony says

"What?" Bob reponds in a sarcasm tone

"White trash with mustangs and madra's" pony said Then he spit on Bob.

That's when i got grabbed and punched down and they tried to drown pony, I stabbed Bob and they all ran away driving off fast

I sit there staring at Bob's corpse shaking

"Man..I'm..I'm gonna be sick" pony said

"Go ahead..I..i ain't gonna look at ya man" i said shaking still. Pony ran off and threw up, he looked at me "y- You really killed him..huh Johnny?" he asked

"Y-yea man, they was gonna kill ya i- i didn't know what else to do I couldn't just let them kill you man" I said as I cleaned my blade off

"L-lets go find dal, he'll know what to do" pony said

We ran to bucks and knocked on the door, "What do you kids want" buck said

"We need dal buck" I said

"He's busy" he said

"Come on man, tell him it's Johnny n ponyboy he'll come" i said

Buck shut the door and we looked through the window, we saw dal coming to the door.

We rushed back to the door, "what's up?" he asked

"K-killed a soc man, we gotta get away from the fuzz" I said shaking

Dal pulled us in, then to his room, "Jesus pony are you wet?" dal asked,

"You'll die from phenomena before the fuzz gets ya man, put this on" he said tossing pony bucks shirt.

"Take this, and get on the 3:15 train to windrixvile, there you'll find an abandoned church on Jay mountain and don't as much as stick your noses outside." he said giving me 50 bucks and a loaded heater.

"Don't point it at me man, it's loaded, now get outta here I'll come find ya when I think its clear"he said

Me n pony ran out, and got on the train, we hid from the train worker, we fell asleep and woke up. We had to jump off the Damn train

"How the hell are we supposed to know which way Jay mountain is man" I said, we saw some farmers,

"Pony go ask them where Jay mtn is, I can't you put my legs to sleep on that train.

(6days later at the Curtis house)

Ailee's pov

"Where the hell is he dal???" i asked worried as can be

"I don't know Ailee chill out" he said

"How am I supposed to be like usual when he's fucking missing, and i don't know where the hell he is, he could be dead or in deep shit right now!" i said in a panicked voice

"Calm down a bit sis, we'll find him n pony" blaze said

I could hear Jc crying upstairs so I ran up, and picked him up, carrying him downstairs with me. He stopped crying and played with my hand

"Dal, if you know where he is..please just tell me" i said with my voice breaking

"Where-where's daddy?" Jc asked looking around cluelessly

"Um..he will be back soon buddy, he had to go on a little road trip, okay?" I said as calm as possible

"Otay why you crying?" He asked curiously,

"It's nothing you should worry about okay? Everything's perfect" i said kissing his forehead

He nodded his head and played with his shirt

"Dal, tell me..now" i demanded

"I can't Ailee, your gonna go looking for him and I can't let you get involved" he said

"Involved with what??, what did he do Dallas" i asked sternly

"Ok fine...Ailee...Johnny and pony killed a soc, they killed Bob" he said

"I-it had to be self defense right? O-or the damn socs started it? Something" i said

"I don't know anything about it, okay? I don't." he said looking down

I gently put Jc down, he walked to blaze.

"S-so where is he..where the hell did you send him?" i asked wiping my eyes.

"Look, I'm going to visit them today, you and Jc can go with me alright?" he said

"Yea..alright, when are we going?"I asked

"Whenever you get dressed n ready" he said.

"Jc cmere bud, we gotta get you dressed" I said as he walked to me

"Where? Where we going?" he asked me

"On a lil drive okay?" i said

He nodded and we went upstairs.

I put his dark blue shirt on with little stretchy jeans, and since it's cold out still, I put his little jean jacket on.

I got dressed, in my usual outfit. Then we went downstairs. Dal took bucks car and we got in, I put Jc's carseat in the back and put him in it and buckled him in.

We drove off as I buckled myself in.

"Dal, drive a little safer this time." i said and he nodded his head.

We pulled up to this old church and got out, I unbuckled Jc, and I picked him up. Once we got in the truck i saw pony and Johnny asleep, I let go of Jc's hand and he ran to Johnny

"Daddy! Wake!" Jc yelled pulling on Johnny's jacket

Johnny's pov

I woke up to Jc's little voice calling me, I looked over and saw him.

"Jc!" I picked him up and spun him around hugging him, he hugged me

"Golly, I missed you buddy" i said

"Missed ya daddy" he said cutely

I looked over and saw Ailee, I skipped over to her and hugged her tightly, she hugged me, and we kissed.

I put Jc down and he ran around me happy.

"Y'all wanna get something to eat it what? Im starving" dal said

"You? Try eating the same processed meat for 6 days straight man" I said

"Lets go im so hungry" Pony said

Ailee's pov

Pony set in the front and me and Johnny sit in the back with Jc.

We pulled up to DQ and all ordered the same thing, bbq sandwiches, I shared with Jc. We finished and drove back to the church, we smelled something burning and saw the church on fire, people and kids all around. i heard a woman say there's kiss missing, that they been gone bout 30 minutes.

I jumped out and ran up to the door, I heard Johnny yell at me and dal screamed at me too.

Pony and johnny ran up behind me, followed by dal.

We got a hole in the door, once big enough I jumped in

Johnny's pov

"Ailee, what the hell, wait one damn second!" I yelled when she jumped in the burning church.

I went in after her and couldn't see a thing, I finally saw her in the corner with a few kids.

"Toss em to me, I'll get them out!" I hollered at Ailee

She gave me two little kids, and i boosted them up to the window where Dally could grab them, then gave me two more, I did the same thing and they got out, there was one more and I boosted him up too, he got out.

"Ailee lets go, Move!" I said

I grabbed her hand and pushed her to the exit, I made it out, I didn't see her, "ailee! Come on! The damn roof is about to fall" I yelled

"Im trying! My leg is stuck under a beam!" she yelled

I ran back in, and pulled her out, we both fell backwards breathing hard.

Then, everything went black.
