Chapter 18: The nightmare

You hear a slight chuckle come from him as you drift off to sleep.

~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•There is banging downstairs, Josh and Gaege are yelling and cussing each other out, you jump up and run down to them, you see blood on the carpet and on the corner of the counter, you scream as you see Josh slowly lose consciousness, you scream "GAEGE! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!" He looks at you, and when you see the look he has in his eyes, you back away, scared. You shake your head What the fuck is his problem right now, You run towards him and push him down onto the couch, you make sure he stays put and you run towards Josh. You prop his head onto your lap and feel for a pulse, you find one and your concern rises when you find its low, you use your scarf to apply pressure to his wound, Gaege starts to stand up and walk over to you, you hug Josh a little tighter in fear, Gaege slaps you. you feel your eyes water as you glare at him. Why is he doing this..? You ask yourself, you get up and punch him in his stomach, you stumble back when he doesn't react to the punch, he grabs your hair and punches you in the same spot, you scream and tears stream down your face, you look at him and knee him where is hurts, he winces and punches you in the mouth, you start to taste blood and your vision blurs, you stumble back and catch yourself on the counter, Gaege gets closer and punches you again, this time in the nose, when he moves his hand away from your face you see blood on his fist. You feel blood run down from your nose and you begin to black out. "Next time you will know your place and stay out of the way." You hear Gaege say as you black out completely. ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•You scream and wake up, Gaege looks at you concerned."You ok babe..?" He asks, worried. You hug him tightly and cry, you look up at him and then look around, you notice Josh isn't in the room and you start to panic a bit."Wh-where's Josh?" You ask, you look back up at him and he tilts his head, confusion paints his face. "He got tired and went upstairs to get some sleep, why? is everything ok?" he asks you, more worried now. "yhea... i just had a nightmare... you and Josh were fighting and then when i came down to stop it you beat me... i blacked out and then i woke up..." You say, shaking. "Its ok..." He says as he hugs you, he rubs your back in attempt to calm you down, eventually he falls asleep, cuddling close to you. You hold him close and fall back asleep.
