𝕎𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣 ℙ.𝕆.𝕍:

It was a new day, and the girls, Pixies, and I were having fun on the beach, while the guys were riding their Wind Riders in the water. 𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘𝑠 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑠𝑜 𝑚𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑓𝑢𝑛... I thought "I think Faragonda was right. We really needed a vacation." I said smiling "Yeah. It feels good to get away from Darkar and his ugly plans, and to find ourselves in the heart of nature." Flora said.

"The red one is cute in the lifeguard sort of way, don't you think?" Stella asked the girls and I as she stood up and modeled her swimsuit for us. "Yeah, it's perfect." Bloom told her "Hey, maybe we could put up a beach fashion show for the boys." Stella said, "Uh, I think they're busy, Stella." Layla told her as we watched the guys still racing on their Wind Riders.

"Yeah, well, I just wish they'd get off those silly things and hang out with us for a while." Stella said. "And I just wish I had one so I can go and ride with them." Layla said, "You read my mind, Layla." I said as we laughed and high-fived "Stella, why don't you sit back, relax, and enjoy some peace and quiet?" Musa asked Stella "Yeah." Layla said agreeing with Musa "Plus, don't you wanna catch a tan? The sun is perfect for sunbathing which I know you love." I said.

"It's just that there's no shopping, the boys aren't paying attention to us, and look, Tecna's not wearing a swimsuit." Stella said as she pointed to Tecna sitting in her regular clothes under the shade of the umbrella.

"I don't want to have a tan, so what's the use of wearing a swimsuit?" Tecna asked. "Okay..." Stella said as she put her hand up in surrender, then I looked up and saw that Jace and Timmy had gotten off their Wind Riders. "Come on, Layla." I said as we ran over to Jace and Timmy "Thanks honey! I'll return it safe and sound!" I yelled out to Jace "Alright!" Jace yelled out to me as Layla and I rode out to the water "Hey!" Timmy yelled out shocked.

"I now have all four pieces of the Codex. The time has come for me to embark on my conquest." Lord Darkar said. "Yes, my lord. The energy of the Relix will make you invincible." Stormy said as Lord Darkar started to open the portal Relix "Behold! I shall set through the Crystal of Power. Its energy shall be mine for the plundering!" Lord Darkar said as the girls and I kneeled down on our knees.

After having some fun on the water the guys, Layla, and I got off the Wind Riders. While we all were playing volleyball, Stella was sitting out on the side and Layla went out to get some firewood for the campfire.

As we all were playing, we all were suddenly interrupted "Well... this is who I am!" Stella yelled out as she walked away surprising all of us 𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑑...? I thought.

𝔹𝕝𝕒𝕫𝕖 ℙ.𝕆.𝕍:

As Lord Darkar was still trying to open the portal, all four Codex fell apart. "Hmm...what just happened, Lord Darkar?" Stormy asked him "Too much darkness! Too much shadow!" Lord Darkar cried out "But darkness is your power." Darcy said confused.

"Yeah. I mean can there ever be too much darkness?" Icy asked. "I see now. I need two more things to complete the ritual!" Lord Darkar said "What is it? We'll go and get it for you, my lord." I told him "It's two energies that will bring balance to the powers of darkness!" Lord Darkar said "Who has those energies? Where can we find it?" Stormy asked.

"It's those two Winx girls, Winter and Bloom, who have them. It's the two Dragon Fires!" Lord Darkar said "Ugh! I never liked them!" Icy said "I must have their essence. Go! Bring them to me!" Lord Darkar told us.

𝕎𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣 ℙ.𝕆.𝕍:

After Stella's sudden outburst, it was dark out and we all were sitting around the campfire roasting some corn. "So, what do you guys feel like doing tomorrow?" Jace asked everyone "Go back to the city." Stella said upset "I'd like to go deeper into the forest. I hear there are some huge animals and amazing creatures that live there." Flora said excitedly "Sounds like a fun adventure!" Chatta said "Chatta..." Flora said as she handed her some corn.

"I was thinking maybe tomorrow morning we could send our postcards." Musa said. "It is expected that vacationing young ladies send postcards to their parents." Tune said, "But, uh, Musa... um, your father?" Layla asked "Yeah..." I said agreeing with Layla "It's okay. I've never sent him a card before but I'd like to try it." Musa said.

"Oh, magic postcards, huh?" Bloom said excitedly "Bloom, you seem to forget one thing: there's no magic in the Wildlands." I told her. "Oh right, I just can't seem to get used to it." Bloom said, "Well, I think it's high time you girls get a taste of what life's like where you don't have magic powers, and all you can count on are your wits and your muscles." Riven told the girls and I.

"However, let's not forget what happened when Bloom and I got our Charmix." I said. 𝐼 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑢𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑖𝑡... I thought "Yeah, we all posses the ability to get one, right?" Stella asked excitedly "Well if there's anything we can do to help you get them, just say so." Sky said, "They might come in very handy against Darkar when we get back to Alfea." Tecna said.

𝔹𝕝𝕒𝕫𝕖 ℙ.𝕆.𝕍:

"So, they're hiding in the Wildlands?" I said as Lord Darkar used his magic to spy on the Winx and the Specialists. "Show us where the Winx are. We'll go get Winter and Bloom." Stormy said "Those little brats!" Icy said "The Wildlands are a magic-free zone. I cannot see clearly!" Lord Darkar said.

"Magic-free zone?" I asked confused "That is right." Darkar said. "No magic at all? What can we do without any powers?" Stormy asked "Do not fear, your Gloomix will grant you enough power for a few spells! Go forth, Trix. Bring me back the ones they call Winter and Bloom. I will posses the flames of the two dragons." Lord Darkar said as he teleported us.

"Talk about rapid transit." Darcy said as we arrived in the forest of the Wildlands. "Actually, I gotta say, my stomach doesn't feel so good." Stormy said "We're outnumbered and have very little power. We've got to come up with a good plan." I told the girls.

"Huh?" Stormy said as we heard noises and turned around to see these wild beast approaching us. "Good. These will do nicely." Darcy said, "Without magic, the Winx don't stand a single chance." Icy said as we all laughed maniacally.

After we all finished eating, we all got into our tents and went to sleep. While I was trying to sleep, I suddenly heard noises coming from outside 𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑...? I thought as I got up and walked out of the girls and I's tent and saw that Jace was in his Specialists uniform on guard with his axe in hand.

"What was that?" I asked Jace as I walked over to him "I have no idea." Jace said. "Jace, there's something about it that just doesn't feel right." I told him "Too bad. It would've been romantic out here." Jace said jokingly making me smile at him.

"Don't worry Winter, I'll keep guard for the night. And if anything happens, I'll wake you and everyone up. You'll be the first to know." Jace told me. "Are you going to be alright staying up all night?" I asked Jace worriedly 𝐼 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝐽𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒... I thought "I'll be okay. This vacation is for you and the girls, so go get some rest, okay?" Jace said as he kissed my cheek as I smiled at him.

"Sweet dreams, Winter." Jace told me "Thanks, Jace." I said as I kissed his lips and went back to the tent to try and go to sleep.

The next morning, we all woke up and we were having breakfast, and the girls and I were making our postcards for our parents, well almost all of us as Stella was still in the tent asleep. "Making our postcards was such an excellent idea, wasn't it?" Tecna asked the girls and I "It's nice to think of others when you're far away. And it's a good reminder of how good life can be back home." Flora said.

"Hey Layla, would you like me to take your picture?" Musa asked after Layla took my picture, while I was posing. "No thanks. You and your dad might be getting along now but mine's not exactly card-worthy yet." Layla said as Stella finally woke up and got out of the tent yawning.

"Hey, sleepyhead. Enough beauty rest?" Layla asked Stella "I'd have slept in even longer if it weren't for all that bright sun." Stella said. 𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎 𝑏𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑦𝑒𝑑 𝑏𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑢𝑛? 𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡'𝑠 𝑛𝑒𝑤... I thought "Stella, we're making postcards for our parents." Flora told her "Great, I'll be right with you, just give me a few minutes, okay?" Stella said.

"I would've thought you'd be in a hurry to send your mom and dad a new picture of you." Layla told Stella. "Of course I want to, I— I just don't know what I'll write yet." Stella said as she walked away "Stella's parents are divorced, she doesn't talk to them much." Bloom whispered over to Layla "Oh! I— I didn't know." Layla said.

"She pretends not to care about things but she's really sensitive. But I think you should talk to Stella. I feel like you two should have a talk." I said, "I'm going for a walk in the woods, guys." Layla said as she stood up. "I'm coming with. I want to go on a walk as well." I said as I stood up as well "Be careful, Winter and Layla. Don't leave the paths." Flora said as Layla and I began making our way to the woods "Yeah, if you both got lost it would be quite difficult to find you." Tecna said "Okay." Layla said as we left.

(A/N: I would like this scene a lot more if Layla was hearing this from Stella herself instead of Bloom. Because it would've add so much to the scene of her and Stella getting to know each other since Layla is still relatively new to the group)

After getting a bit away from the camp, Layla and I sat down on a log. "Okay, so tell me what's wrong Layla." I said as I faced her "I didn't know Stella's parents were divorced. I guess I really don't know you guys at all." Layla said as she started crying into my arms.

As the girls were getting things set up for the fashion show, the guys and I were sitting on the beach chairs. "Finally, Stella's getting her fashion show." Timmy said "And we're the judges." Sky said, "Big deal, you all have a favourite." Riven told us "As if you don't. Huh, Riven?" I asked him as I punched him in the shoulder playfully.

"Layla, you do know us, a lot actually. Stella just doesn't like talking about her parents a whole lot." I said as I wiped her tears from her face. "It actually took her a little to tell the rest of us about her parents divorcing. You just have to think about how hard it is on Stella... like put yourself in her shoes." I said, "Well, her multiple pairs of shoes." I said making Layla laugh.

"Thanks, Winter. I needed that really." Layla said as we hugged. "No, problem." I said, "Now, which way did I come from?" Layla said as we stood up and started making our way towards the camp "Hello? Anyone there?" Layla called out as we heard some noises.

"Winter!" Layla cried out as she quickly grabbed my arm scared. Then, Layla pulls Piff out from her hood "Piff! Wake up, I'm scared. Winter and I— we're alone." Layla said as I tried to comfort her "No, you're definitely not alone." Stella said from behind scaring Layla and I as we turned to her "Stella!" I said as I sighed in relief 𝐺𝑙𝑎𝑑 𝑖𝑡'𝑠 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑 𝐿𝑎𝑦𝑙𝑎 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼... I thought.

"Stella, you scared us." Layla said, "Sorry, I just hate being ignored." Stella said. "Don't I know it." I said laughing as I hugged Stella "What are you doing here?" Layla asked her "I came to get you two of course." Stella said, "We're putting on a little fashion show for the boys." Stella said as we started making our way towards the camp. "You want me in your fashion show?" Layla asked shocked "Hey, you'd rather sit out in the woods all day? All alone? Listen, I feel a little left out too sometimes." Stella told Layla "You feel left out?" Layla asked "You bet! Like this camping stuff, I just don't fit in." Stella said.

"You got that right." Layla said making me laugh " That's why I want you to join us for the fashion show." Stella said. "Aww, Stella, thank you." Layla said as they shook hands "Hey, what's happening?" Stella asked as she started glowing "It's like a mirror." Layla said as a mirror-shaped pin appeared in the middle of her chest "Wow, it's a mirror-shaped jewel. The Charmix knows me too well." Stella said smiling.

"Oh, Stella, you did it! That's just great!" Layla said as we all held hands. "Did you hear that?" Layla asked as we heard growling noises, then suddenly we saw these wolf creatures surrounding us "We can't fight them off without magic." Stella said, "Hey, what about your Charmix?" Layla asked Stella and I "It's worth a try." Stella said "𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒙! 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒙!" I yelled out as Stella and I transformed.

After Stella and I transformed, two of the wolves went to jump at us "𝑩𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆!" "𝑴𝒊𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒆!" Stella and I yelled out as we attacked both of the wolves and de-transformed.

"You guys did it!" Layla said cheering for Stella and I "Yeah, well, don't know if we can do that again. Let's go!" I said as we all started running away. "Keep going! I got an idea." Layla told Stella and I as we kept running away from the wolves "Don't leave us!" Stella told Layla as she stopped running with us.

"Don't worry, I won't." Layla said as she pushed down on a log tripping one of the wolf wolves "Alright! Come on, we gotta keep moving!" Layla said as we continued to run away from wolf wolf creatures.

After Brandon and I witnessed Riven and Musa arguing again, we followed after Musa to talk to her. "Jace! Brandon!" Musa cried out as we ran into each other "Sorry! We didn't mean to startle you." I told her "What do you guys want?" Musa asked us "It looked like you and Riven had a spat." Brandon said.

"Yeah, well, what else is new." Musa said, "From what I gather this happens a lot." Brandon said. "Look us in the eye, Musa. Arguing is the easiest thing in the world." I told her "I know, I overreact sometimes." Musa said sighing "But honesty takes courage and you got lots of that." Brandon said.

"Yes, but, how am I supposed to know who to trust?" Musa asked Brandon and I. "Well, first thing you gotta do is follow that path." I said pointing to the path Riven took "That path? But why?" Musa asked confused "That's the one that Riven took." I told her "He went off by himself? Wonder what he's up to." Musa said as she went after Riven.

"Faster! It's gaining on us!" Layla yelled out as we kept running, but then we ran into more wild creatures. "Okay, what now?" Stella asked, "Your mirror and snowflake recharged yet?" Layla asked us "We don't have enough for three." I said, "There's gotta be something we can do." Layla said as the creatures stalked towards us.

"The snow and mirror's reflections were very strong." Stella said. "Let's try to use them as signal flares." Layla said "Alright." Stella said as we got ready "𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒙! 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒙!" I yelled out as Stella and I transformed again.

After Stella and I transformed, we used our magic to send two bright signal flares in the sky so the others could see it 𝐻𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑓𝑢𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑔𝑒𝑡 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑓𝑎𝑠𝑡 𝑒𝑛𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑤𝑖𝑠𝑒 𝑤𝑒'𝑟𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑑! I thought as Stella and I de-transformed.

"Even with the Charmix we can't transform for long here." Stella said. "Okay, sisters. It's a fight to the finish." Layla told us as we all got ready to fight off the creatures, but then Jace and Brandon appeared out of nowhere and started attacking the creatures.

"Jace!" I said surprised "Brandon!" Stella said as she was surprised as well. "Brandon behind you!" Stella yelled out as the giant troll ran at Brandon, but he was met with Jace slicing his wooden club and used the broken part to punch the troll in the face.

"You guys okay?" Jace asked, "Brandon, you were so brave." Stella said as she ran over to him. "Jace!" I yelled out happily as I ran into his arms, while he lifted me up and spun me around "Are you alright, Jace?" I asked him worriedly as he set me down "Don't worry, Winter. I'm perfectly fine." Jace said.

"I'm glad that you're alright." I said as I hugged him tight and gave him a small but passionate kiss on the lips. "I'm not going anywhere, Winter." Jace said as he rested his forehead on my forehead as we looked into each other's eyes "Ah, it's a dream come true." Amore said making us all turn to see the others behind us.

"What happened? We saw your signal flares." Bloom asked us. "Wild animals attacked us." Layla said "I don't like it here. Something's not right." Jace said, "Yes, I sense danger." Lockette said, "Remember those sounds we heard last night?" I asked Jace, suddenly more wild creatures appeared in front of us "So, what's the plan?" Brandon asked "Well, sometimes the best plan's the simplest one. Run!" I yelled out as we all started running away as they chased us.

"Sky, Brandon, let's take them on." Jace said as they stopped to try and fight the creatures off. "Hey! Pick on someone your own size!" Chatta said as she went to help the guys "Chatta, be careful!" Flora told her "Look on the bright side, they're slow as molasses." Chatta said, "Right now so am I, 'cause I can't fly." Flora said, "We can't keep this up much longer." Sky said. "Yeah, tell me about it!" Bloom said "Winter, Bloom! Get down!" Jace yelled out to us as two creatures went to swoop down towards Bloom and I "𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒙! 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒙!" Musa yelled out as she transformed "𝑴𝒂𝒙 𝑽𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒎𝒆!" Musa yelled out as she flew up and attacked the creatures.

"Now that's the sound of magic power." Musa said as she landed on the ground and attacked the two flying creatures, while Bloom and I ducked down. "Musa!" Stella cried out as Musa de-transformed "The valley is the only place without monsters." Musa told us "I don't know." Lockette said scared "We have no choice. Come on!" I told everyone as we headed to the valley.

"This is not natural. Animals don't attack for no reason." Flora said as we kept running. "Clearly, we all know what's happening. I just know it's Lord Darkar." I said "Bingo! I saw Darcy earlier." Musa said, "All we can do now is keep going." Stella said, "Stop!" Riven yelled out as we all stopped running "It's a trap. You're all being lead directly into it." Riven told us. "Riven, are you sure?" Sky asked him "Positive. I overheard the Trix talking about it." Riven said, "Ooh, Riven, you've had a change of heart." Stella said "Wanna avoid the trap? Step where I step." Riven said as he started leading us through the traps.

Musa, Jace, and I looked at each other and nodded as we followed after Riven. "You all heard him, so come on, let's go!" I said turning to the others as they finally started following after us "We made it!" Stella said as we all made it across the traps "I can hear the monsters getting closer." Flora said worriedly "We'd better hurry up." Layla said, "To go where exactly?" Timmy asked as we looked behind to see the edge of a cliff.

As we walked towards the edge of the cliff, we saw that it was too dangerous to climb down. "We have nowhere to go." Bloom said worriedly as the creatures were getting closer "Well, we did get past the trap." Musa said, "But now we're surrounded." Layla said, "Well, what can we do?" Flora asked as the creatures got closer.
