Chapter 58

"You're her best friend, what should I do?" Harry asked as we sat out on the balcony etremely early in the morning.

"Riley is really understanding. Just give her a call and tell her everything, she'll understand that this is something you have to do, but, she's also a very jealous person so keep your distance and make it look like an awkard first date." I laughed sitting back cupping the hot mug in my hands.

"I don't even know what the date is." Harry admitted chuckling.

"Lou and Lux are going to central park today... go with them. You two can walk around, there will be tons of people and if it gets awkward just grab Lux." I told him shrugging, it wasn't a bad idea.

"That's perfect." He grinned standing up. "Thanks Kayls, you're the best." He gave over giving me a tight hug before running inside. I just shook my head, these two were going to be the death of me.

I sat out there a little longer before I was taken by surprise. "Is that the Zayn Malik up before 10 am?" I gasped smiling.

"Yeah, yeah funny!" He chuckled pulling out a cigarette and a lighter. "You don't mind, do you?" I just shook my head sipping at my tea. 

"What are your plans for the day?" I asked trying to avoid an awkward sillence.

"My girlfriend is supposed to be flying in today with her band and we were going to do lunch." He smiled, his eyes brightening at the thought of her. Zayn and Perrie were probably the perfect couple. I mean, they're both breath takingly gorgeous and they click so well. Just watching them together is so much fun.

"Aw, that'll be fun." I smiled as He put the cigarette out.

"Yeah, I'm meeting her at the airport. Her plane lands in about 30 minutes, I better get ready." He sighed running his hands over his face as he walked back inside.

Once again I was left alone. I didn't mind though, it was quiet. I could actually hear myself think other than the shouting of everyone inside. 

"Morning babe." Niall yawned walking outside.

"Hm, all of you are up so early." I looked at him suspiciously smirking. He just shrugged gesturing for me to stand up. I did a bit confused before he sat down in my seat. "Niall!"

"Just sit on my lap! It's cold, I need a blanket." He pouted batting his eyelashes. I sighed sitting on his lap my legs hanging over the arm of the chair and my head resting against his chest, my cup of tea held close. "How are you feeling today?" Niall asked brushing a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Eh, I think I'm catching a cold." I mumbled as he played with the ends of my hair.

"Boo, maybe me and you will stay in today, yeah?" Niall suggested and I looked up at him giving him a little smile. "All the boys are out doing stuff with their girlfriends, so I might as well stay in with you." He grinned leaning down and pressing his lips to my forehead.

"Sounds good to me."

Harry's P.O.V.

"Thanks again Lou for letting us tag along." I said as I walked beside her as she pushed Lux in the carriage. 

"No problem Harry, where are you meeting Taylor?" She questioned turning to look at me. I turned around looking to see if I spotted her and sure enough she was where she said she would be.

"She's right over there by the fountain." I pointed over to the blonde as she sat huddled in her coat. We walked over and I greeted her with a friendly hug already drawing attention from some people.

"Hey, how are you?" I asked as we began to walk.

"I'm pretty good, it's cold." She laughed her teeth chattering. "You?"

"I'm good, tired." I chuckled as we walked past different people performing to get any loose change they could. One guy caught my eye. He was sat on a bench playing the saxaphone quite well. He seemed to draw people to him as they danced around to the music.

I grabbed Lux out of her carriage and put her down as she grasped my pinkies, spinning around and dancing, something she loved to do. I looked over at Taylor and Lou as they laughed at how silly we looked.

When we were done there we stopped at a little pretzel stand and everyone got a warm pretzel to try and warm them up, it was cold, too cold. 

"Mama I'm cold!" Lux whined kicking her feet against the carriage.

"Alright, alright." Lou groaned. "Do you want to go back to the hotel?" She looked over at me.

"Uh yeah sure. Do you mind?" I turned to Taylor. It had only been about two hours not exactly a date..

"Not at all." She smiled as we all made our way back to the hotel. 

"Let's go grab something to eat next door first." I suggested to Taylor as Lou and Lux went inside the building. We made our way into a small diner type place, nearly empty.

We talked the whole time, little drops of awkward silences here and there. We mostly talked about touring and such, we didn't have much in common at all. 

"Alright we should go now." I said as I noticed more people coming in. It was just getting dark out so as we walked into the hotel the bright lights of the flash from the paps cameras were enough to make you go blind.

"I never got used to that." Taylor joked as we walked up the stairs.

"I don't think I ever will." I agreed laughing. By the time we got to my floor I was winded, I need to hit the gym.

"Hey Haz!" Niall smiled from the bed where he and a sleeping Kaylee laid. "And Taylor." He chuckled lightly shaking Kaylee.

"She alright mate?" I asked noticing how pale she looked. 

"Yeah, she said she's catching a cold. She's hot as an iron." He told me as Kaylee drowsily stirred in the bed.

"Ya hey what." She mumbled sitting up. "Oh hey guys!" She waved lazily. "I'm going to bed.'

"Kayls, you just took a nap." Niall chuckled pulling her into his chest.

"Oh yeah, I did." She giggled her eyes fighting to stay open. 

"I have a signing tomorrow so I should probably get going." Taylor spoke from her spot by the door.

"Alright yeah. It was nice today. Uh you should probably use the back door unless you want to get blinded by paps." I chuckled opening the door.

"Yeah, I was thinking that. Alright bye Harry." She leaned in and pulled me into a hug and placing a pepper light kiss on my lips.

"Uh yeah bye." I smiled awkardly closing the door behind her. "It wasn't that bad."

"Call Riley." Kaylee pointed at me. "Dooooo it!"

"Kayls, you're crazy." Niall laughed placing his hand over her mouth making her words become inaudible. "Ew! You licked me!" He pulled his hand away wiping it off on the sheets. She gave him a huge cheesy grin before her hand dropped to his chest, small snores leaving her lips. 

I just shook my head laughing as I walked off into the living room-ish area.

"Hey Riley." I smiled as she answered the phone.

"Hey Harry, what's up?" She responded the sound of papers ruffling.

"Nothing I just wanted to talk to you about something." I took her silence as continue, "Well management and that whole Taylor thing are still going on and we had a date type thing today and I just wanted to tell you before you saw anything because they always exaggerate. We went to the park with Lou and Lux then we had lunch."

"That's fine Harry, I understand it's something you can't get out of." She laughed allowing me to let out a sigh of relief. "But I'm still expecting that date."

"Of course, soon I promise. I've got to figure out when the next free night is." I grinned leaning against the door frame.

"Perfect, hey listen, I have to go I have my last midterm tomorrow before I'm off for winter break." She sighed.

"Alright good luck Riles."

"Thanks I'll need it." She giggled making my heart flutter, she had the cutest laugh. "Bye Haz." She chirped before the line went dead.

"That went well." I smiled rolling onto the couch and laying down. 

"I think I'm gonna throw up." I heard Kaylee scream. I couldn't help but laugh, she was acting so weird. A few seconds later I heard a really loud burp. "Woah false alarm." She giggled.

"That was a good one. Hm, 9 out of 10." I heard Niall before they high fived. There is no doubt that they weren't made for each other. 

"You go." I heard Kaylee as I sat up looking over at the two sitting next to each other on the bed.

He picked up the soda can beside him taking a huge gulp and releasing a killer burp a few seconds later. "Show off." Kaylee scoffed rolling her eyes. 

"You guys are so gross." I laughed making them both look over at me. "But the cuteness covers that up."

"Just be lucky it's nof farting." Kaylee laughed pinching her nose.

"I always win those." Niall grinned sitting back.

"We know." Kaylee and I said in unison.

"We're back!" I loud voice shouted. Of course it was Louis followed by Liam and Zayn. "What's up homies?"

"We had a burping contest." Kaylee shrugged innocently smiling. Liam furrowed his eyesbrows before shaking his head and looking over at me.

"So how did it go?" He questioned as the three came and sat on the couch with me.

"It was okay, not terrible. But I have the perfect idea for Riley tomorrow..." I grinned exctiment filling me.
