Part 6

My phone rang, it was Mae Add. I answered.

"Perth, where are you? Santa told me to call you. He's in the hospital," she said urgently.

"What? What happened? Is he okay?" I panicked.

"Calm down. He fell and fractured his right wrist. The doctor already examined him and he received necessary treatment. He's going to be okay," she explained.

"Why didn't he call me?" I asked angrily.

"That's something you should ask him," she replied.

"Mae Add, stay with him. I'm on my way," I assured her.

"Of course I will. Don't drive too fast, Perth," she reminded me.

I rushed to the hospital, ignoring speed limits on the way. I parked near the entrance and ran through the hallways to reach Santa's room.

"Tata," I said loudly when I opened the door. Seeing him alive and okay relaxed me a little. He immediately looked at me and his face changed.

"Perth," he begged, his eyes full of tears. I rushed to his bed and hugged him.

"Tata," I whispered and kissed his forehead.

"Why didn't you call me?" I asked.

He looked at Mae Add, who was standing in the middle of the room, and she understood. She gave us some privacy with the excuse that she needed coffee.

I repeated the question.

"I was afraid you'd be angry with me. Perth, please forgive me. I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have gone for a drink with P'Win. He's your co-actor on Scarlet Heart and I don't want any tension between you two when you see him," he said haltingly.

"I saw him today. Our shooting was moved up," I told him.

"Oh. Sorry," he said and looked down.

"Don't apologize. I'm the one who has to apologize. I was angry and jealous, and I shouldn't have been. I trust you completely. I shouldn't have left you alone last night. We should have slept in each other's embrace like every night."

"Perth," he whispered.

"Mhm," I murmured.

"Kiss me," he demanded and I didn't hesitate.

"Did you call your mom?" I asked, knowing how worried she might be.

"Yes, but she's out of town. Mae Add explained everything," he answered.

"How are you feeling?" I checked.

"I'm okay, just a little tired," he admitted.

"Mae Add canceled the GMMTV Pocky Idol live for tomorrow, but I'm still going with you to the Ice Pop event on Thursday," he said.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Yes. They said I could go home today," he said.

"Yeah?" I asked and pulled him into my arms.
