Epilogue

Annabeth

Its been four months and still no sign of Percy. Everyday i feel more empty and alone. we've been back at Camp Half Blood for a month now and every one is settling in fine. Camp Jupiter has gone back to Sanfrancisco, along with Pipper. She didn't want to be with out Jason (Grace) so she went with them. The Hunters come and go, me and Thalia aren't as close any more but we still talk.

Everyday we get new campers. Most satyres decide to help search for Percy. The more people the better. When Percy does come back he'll probably be happy to know he has a little sister called Gracie. She was eight years old and cute as a button. She took a liking to me the instant and we became friends. I told her stories of Percy and how much they look like each other.

She had his same black hair and peircing green eyes. Unlike Percy, Gracie can shoot a bow and arrow and get the target. None of the bows wee made her or had suited her need. Then she held the Epirus Bow and it was just right.

Its till bugs me. A eight year old handling one of the most powerful weapons ever created. She knows how to handle it and doesn't use it to her advantage. Thank the gods. We can tell she's going to be a handful like percy.

I was walking along the beach at camp, watching the sun slowly set. Normally this is the time were me and Percy would sit on the roof of his cabin and watch it set. I sighed. I really miss him. Rachel gave me the little box that Percy was going to give to me but i'm afraid to open it. So now it sits on my chest of draws.

I was completely lost in my own world that i didn't hear or see Gracie.

"HEY!" I jumped and spun. There she stood, looking pleased she almost made me piss myself. Little minx. I straightened the scarf skirt i had on that was over my bikini bottoms and tightened it. I've been swimming allot lately.

"Hey Grace..... I didn't see you there." I smiled and walked to the dunes, where she stood.

"Obviously otherwise you wouldn't of shat yourself!" She sniggered. Such a sewer mouth for a eight year old. She was wearing black shorts and a green hoodie. The hoodie was mine but i didn't like it so i gave it to her. It was way to big but she oved it.

"Language! Anyways what is it you need?" She looked backwards, then bback at me.

"Chiron wants to see you in that amp- amphi-" I smiled. "the place where we hold camp songs!" She gave up on trying to say it.

"Ok... what right now?" She nodded, grabbed my hand and pulled me in to the right direction.

"You know tug any harder my arm would come off!" I shouted. SHe laughed and carried on. Soon we were there and she just left me. The place was empty and i saw Chiron no where.

"Hellooooo?" I walked down the steps and i got darker. Suddenly lights blared on and music started playing. I knew the song instanly it was one of my favorites. It was the Counting Crows Accidentally In Love.

I spun and saw a band playing. But thats not what my eyes landed on. Standing in the middle of the band was my Seaweed Brain. Percy. Tears formed in my eyes. He's changed. He has a scar and stitches going down his left cheek. His arms were covered in more stitches and scars and bruises. I don't care though. all i know is that i have my Percy. His hair was by his shoulders and very unruly, although his green eyes still had life in them.

Before i could run to him, he started singing.

"So she said what's the problem baby What's the problem I don't know Well maybe I'm in love (love) Think about it every time I think about it Can't stop thinking 'bout it" He jumped down and started to walk towards me.

"How much longer will it take to cure this Just to cure it cause I can't ignore it if it's love (love) Makes me wanna turn around and face me but I don't know nothing 'bout love Come on, come on Turn a little faster Come on, come on The world will follow after Come on, come on Cause everybody's after love" He grabbed my waist and started spinning and danceing with me.

as soon as he was done i jumped into his arms. He picked me up and spun me. When he stopped and put me down i didn't let go, afraid this is a dream.

"I must be dreaming....." I sobbed into his shoulder.

"Open your eyes Wise Girl..... its not a dream....." He whispered. I pulled back and looked at him. I put my hands at the back of his neck and pulled him down towards me and kissed him. His lips on mine made everything real. I haven't been more happier.

"I love you Annabeth...." He whispered against my lips.

"I love you to." We kissed again, our mouths working in unison. He pulled away and got down on one knee. He got out a small box.

"Annabeth Chase..... i love you so much and i never want to be without you again! Will you marry me?" I wasted no time.

"OH MY GODS PERCY YES!" I put the ring on and kissed him.

Our lives are back, and no one can take that from us again.
