Part 12

I lay against him, still catching my breath, my body pressed tight to his. His warmth, his heartbeat, everything about him was home.

He brushed a strand of hair from my forehead. "You really drive me crazy sometimes," he murmured, kissing me again.

"You love it," I teased, grinning against his lips.

"Too much," he admitted, holding me closer.

"But Perth... remember, we have to be careful. Fans notice everything. Even today with my clothes and your jacket, they're already suspicious."

"I know," he sighed. "But I don't care if they speculate. As long as we know the truth, it's enough."

I smiled, soft and proud. "Our little secret."

"For now," he agreed. 

"One day, they'll know. But not yet. I love our privacy."

"Me too," he whispered, kissing my temple.

We curled up together, and the silence between us was comfortable, full of unspoken promises.

"Perth?" I asked quietly.

"Mhm?"

"I really couldn't sleep without you last night. It felt... empty."

He chuckled, brushing his thumb over my cheek. "Good. That means you're addicted. To me."

"I've been addicted since the start," I confessed, my voice soft but sure.

He tilted my chin up and kissed me again, slower this time. Certain.

"Then stay addicted forever," he whispered against my lips.

I nodded, my chest warm, full of him. "Always."

And in that moment, with his arms wrapped around me and the world outside fading away, I knew I would never want anything else.
