Chapter Fifty - Six

No, I'm not doing Hyunjin's side of things during the week awayNo, I'm not doing the group of teens shopping for stuff eitherYes, I am doing the wedding

Felix nervously paced back and forth in his dressing room, all dolled up for the big day.

No one else was in the room with him, leaving him alone as he had requested.

He was left alone with his thoughts, which was never a good thing, and he was starting to regret so many decisions he had made for the day.

Is this suit the best choice?

Did I pick the perfect centerpieces?

What if no one likes the food prepared?

Sure, there's a variety, but what if they don't like any of it?

Did we pick the right venue?

Are the flowers appropriate?

Is everyone seated perfectly?

Did I finish everything on my list?

Is everyone even here?

Maybe someone got lost at the airport or maybe the directions weren't clear enough.

Or maybe—

His thoughts were cut off by the door opening.

He froze and turned to the door faster than you could ask 'Who's there?'

Only to see it was Jeongin and Chan at the door, both with big stupid grins on their faces.

"Hey," Felix mumbled and went back to pacing.

"Hey," Jeongin giggled and they both stepped inside, tackling Felix with a hug.

"Lix! Come on, it's your big day, why are you so nervous?" Chan frowned, sensing his nervousness and discomfort.

"Because it's my big day," Felix laughs nervously, "I might've gotten something wrong or made a mistake somewhere or-"

Once again, Felix was cut off.

This time Jeongin put his hand on his mouth.

"Okay, shut up. This is your day, don't spoil it by overthinking," he giggles and grabs his hands.

"You're getting married for god's sake! Enjoy it!"

"He's right, you're marrying the person you love," Chan smiles softly, "You can't make a mistake today. Even if something goes wrong, you're still getting married to the man you love."

Felix smiled brightly and nodded.

He's right.

None of those mistakes matter today.

He's marrying Hyunjin, the man he loves.

Nothing can go wrong with that.

"You're right. Thanks, guys," Felix giggled before checking the time and looking at them with wide eyes.

"It's time!" He exclaims, more excited than worried.

"Yay! Okay, we'll go now. Have fun~" Jeongin giggled and was dragged away by Chan.

Felix takes a deep breath and grabs his small bouquet of different colored honeysuckles, which symbolizes forever love.

He waits barely a minute before his dad walks in with tears in his eyes to walk him down the aisle.

"Ready?" His dad asks tearfully.

Felix nods and latches himself onto his dad.

"I never imagined that I would walk you down the aisle," he jokes, "especially not before your sisters."

Felix laughs, tears in his eyes too.

"I guess you just got lucky. Getting to walk all three of your children down the aisle," Felix jokes as they reach the aisle, only for his dad to shake his head.

"No, you're the lucky one. You get to be married and have your father walk you down the aisle. Not many kids like you can say that," he whispers and they stop right in front of the altar.

Felix looks at his dad tearfully and they let go of each other, Hyunjin grabbing Felix's hand comfortingly.

"Guess we're both lucky," Felix says and receives a kiss on the cheek from his dad.

"Guess so," he whispers and walks away to sit beside his hysterical wife.

Felix turns to Hyunjin with a smile, walking up the steps so they stand right in front of each other.

Before Jisung started to officiate them, he nudged Felix lightly.

"Hey, how cool is this? The last of us to get a boyfriend is the first to get married," he chuckles, "I just hope I won't be last to get married because I was first to get a boyfriend," he grumbles.

Felix laughs softly and gently hits him.

"Just hurry up, I wanna marry this beautiful man already," Felix says and turns to Hyunjin with a smile, who returns it wholeheartedly.

(Skipping right to the vows)

"Felix, your vows?" Jisung says sweetly, wiping away a few stray tears.

Felix clears his throat before he begins, bringing out a small piece of paper.

"Hwang Hyunjin, the day I met you, I found my missing piece. If I've done anything, and I mean anything, right in my life, it was the moment I decided to devote myself to you." Felix laughs nervously when Hyunjin reaches over to wipe away his tears, causing a few 'Awws' from the audience.

"I don't want you to ever forget that you are my life, my love, and my best friend. Sorry Ji," Felix laughs and turns to the male, who just shrugs.

"Eh, I was first. And he's only your best friend because of marriage, I'm your best friend forever," he sassily replies, causing people to laugh.

"But anyways, Hwang Hyunjin, I will love you forever and always."

Hyunjin laughs softly and leans his forehead against Felix's kissing his nose.

"And Hyunjin, your vows?" Jisung says hesitantly, not wanting to interrupt this sweet moment.

"Ah, right, my vows," Hyunjin grumbles and grabs out his piece of paper.

"Lee Felix, if I could give you one gift, it would be to see yourself as I see you. Only then would you realize how truly special you are. You light up my life with your every word, smile, and laugh. You are the best thing to ever happen to me and I love you more than words or actions could ever express," Hyunjin smiles sweetly and takes a small step closer.

"I love you so much. Forever and always, right?" He says softly, to which Felix nodded.

"Umm," Jisung hums and thinks for a moment, trying to figure out if he left anything out, realizing that he didn't.

"You may now kiss the groom!" He exclaims happily, to which the couple quickly oblige.

Claps and cheers fill the area, but the couple doesn't hear.

They pay no attention to their audience and are lost in each other's embrace.

Only when they pull away do they realize there are people there, their parents, and they sheepishly walk down the stairs to meet up with their friends.

Finally, they were married.
