The Cafe

After my terrible dream last night, i was kind of off for the rest of the day. The dream felt so real, but i know it wasnt. I saw that Robert was a little worried about how i was acting today, he asked me if i wanted to go to a cafe with him, probably to talk about it. Robert waits for me after work and i follow him to the cafe in my car. We walk in and sit down, we both look at the menu. "So, whats bothering you, Sage?" He asks, setting his menu down and looking me straight in the eyes. "Bad dream, thats all." I say, still looking at my menu."What was it about?" He asks, but before i could answer, someone who works at the cafe comes to our table. She is about normal height, blonde hair, and has glasses. "Hell- Oh my god! Are you Robert Downey Jr and Sage Duval!?" She asks kind of loudly, luckily the cafe wasnt busy at all. Me and Robert both nod. "I cant believe this! Oh, im sorry your probably used to this all the time. Im Maddy, can i get you two anything?" "Do you know what you want?" Robert asks me."Yes. Maddy, ill just have a plain vanilla latte." Maddy quickly writes it down and looks at Robert."Ill just have a coffee. Thanks." Maddy smiles and walks away. "She was excited." Robert chuckles. "You never answered my question, you got interrupted." "Oh, right. Well, this is kind of embarrassing but, my bad dream was about you. It was weird, i arrived on the set, and nobody was around. I looked everywhere and then i finally found you guys. But then when i got any closer, you all disappeared except you. I heard these voices saying awful things like 'This was a mistake' and stuff like that. Then i heard laughing and i tried yelling to you and you couldnt hear me. Honestly, you looked lifeless, and then Deborah came from behind you, she was the one laughing and saying the awful things. She said that she still loved you and that you were hers still, but when i protested, she pulled out a gun..." "And then what happened?" He asked, i can see he cares."She threatened to kill you and then pointed the gun at you. I told her to kill me instead, but that only gave her another bad idea. She still had the gun aimed at you, then told me i was going to watch you die, absorb it, then she was going to kill me. After she said that, she shot you, i screamed and cried, and she pointed the gun my way, but before she could shoot, i woke up...." "Oh my god, sounds terrible. I want you to know that will never happen, i wouldnt let her do such a thing and i know she doesnt love me to get me back. So can you please lighten up your mood for me?" After he says that, i nod and Maddy shows up with our drinks. "Here you go. It was awesome to meet you two! I cant wait until your new movie comes out!" She says, before walking away i ask her to join us. "You wouldnt mind? I dont want to intrude..." "Maddy, we insist. Your not like other fans, you were really excited at first but you werent fangirling over me or anything like that, i think thats cool." Robert says, Maddy smiles and nods and sits with us. "Whos your favorite actor?" I ask."Him." She points to Robert, he smiles a proud smile."Why thank you." He says as he pretends to nod a hat. "Favorite actress?" I ask."You." I smile too, im not that well known yet, but i feel good about my talent."Wow, thanks. Im surprised because im not well known at all." "You dont have to be well known to be someones favorite actress." Maddy says to me, that just makes me smile even more. Me and Robert finish up our drinks still talking to Maddy. "Well Maddy, i think we should be going. We have to film tomorrow." Robert says standing up. "Ok, thanks you two! You have no idea how cool this was! But, can i ask a favor before you two go?" "Sure, what is it?" I ask. She pulls out her phone."A pic?" I shake my head no, a rush of disappointment fills her face."No, because we are going to hang out, often." I say, taking her phone and putting my number in it, i totally just tricked her. High fives self. She smiles before we leave, i told her to text soon, making sure she has the right number. We get out of the cafe and me and Robert hug, then go into our cars and head home. Robert always knows how to make me feel better, and i think i just made a new friend.Hey guys, so Maddy is actually one of my friends in real life.
