Today there was a fair. Which means, I get to stay out late with the gang. I got dressed into a purple bra that you can wear out as top, and some cute purple sweat pants. I did my make up and hair and put on my white low top platformed converse.

"I'm not coming home til maybe tomorrow" I told my parents

"Where are you going dressed like that?" Bob asked me,

"To the fair with my friends, now I really have to go, they are waiting for me, I'll call if anything. Bye!" I opened the door and left walking to the Curtis house.

I walked in and everyone was all excited which made me more excited. I noticed Evie wasn't here so I asked them

"Where's Evie?" I looked over to Steve

"She has to work today" Steve sighed

"Oh" I nodded

"You look ready" soda chuckled

"Come on I want to play some games win some prizes go on rides let's goooo" they all chuckled and got up

The fair was packed, people were everywhere. We got out of the car and took some pictures then Darry wanted to talk to us.

"We need partners just incase we get lost, soda and Steve, Ponyboy Johnny, me and two-bit and dally and Dani, do not separate am I clear?" We all nodded, great I'm stuck with Dallas Winston

We both walked in and paid for our tickets, many people were staring at us cause a lot of people know Dallas, and well only socs know about me and they only know me as bobs hot little sister.

"Where are we headed first?" Dally asked blowing out smoke from his cigarette

"Ring toss" I pointed and he nodded

"Here you go" the guy gave me 5 rings and gave Dally 5 rings. It was kinda hard cause I suck ass at this game, I tried so hard that I didn't even notice Dally was done.

"You suck at this" he laughed

"Shut up" I threw my last on and didn't make it,

"Better luck next time" the guy grinned And waved I waved back and we left

"This is so boring" Dally mumbled

"It could be fun" I mean can he not see everything there is.

"Let's go eat" he pointed at the food area I shrugged and followed, people were giving me stares, it kinda made me feel weird but I just tried ignoring it.

We got our food and sat down, I started eating my fries and saw this really cute greaser guy sitting next to me.

"Hi" he smiled and looked at me

"Hi" I smiled back and looked down

"You got a name?" He asked

"Danielle" I giggled

"Danielle that's a pretty girl name, and you sure are pretty,"

"Thank you" I felt heat rise up to my cheeks and he chuckled

"I'm Kevin"

"Nice to meet you Kevin," I smiled

"You sure got a pretty smile, want to go-" he got cut off by dally putting his arm around me,

"So Dani where do you want to go next?" He asked

"I'm kinda busy" I mumbled and tried pushing him off

"Huh?" He blew the smoke In my face, he was being annoying and an asshole, I pushed him off me

"Listen Dal can you leave us alone?" Kevin said to Dally standing up

"Hey Dani look It's that one game you wanted to play" Dally got up and took me to another booth

"What the hell?!" I pushed him

"What?" He asked Like if nothing happened

"Your such a dick! Why can't I talked tho him he seemed real nice" I said back

"He ain't a good guy for you" he said walking with me

"How do you know who is good for me?" I crossed my arms

"I just do," we stopped at a balloon dart booth, I gave the guy my ticket and he gave me 4 darts.

Dally ditched me, so I went out looking for him, and your not going to believe what he was doing with his precious time.

That's right you know it, flirting with a girl, and since he didn't let me talk to a guy I'm not going to let him talk to a girl.

"Hi baby" i sat on his lap and smiled

"What the-" he gave me a weird look

"I thought you didn't have girlfriend?" The girl looked at him

"I don't" dally tried pushing me off but I stayed put

"Baby we never finished playing that game together" I smirked

"What game? What are you doing Dani?" He said annoyed

"Can you like leave?" The girl said, I looked at her let's just say Sephora needs there make up back.

He kept trying to get me off of him but I smashed my lips on to his. Our kiss turned into a make out, I broke the kiss and looked to see if the girl was there and she wasn't.

"I did my job" I giggled and got off him

"What the fuck was that for?" He said mad

"If I can't talk to guys you can't talk to girls." I said walking over to the cotton candy booth

"What you mean? I can talk to girls,"

"well then let me talk to Kevin oh wait I can't cause you scared him off" I said annoyed,

"Chill out It was just a guy there are guys all around" he rolled his eyes and threw his cigarette

"You are so fucking annoying" I mumbled, I wasn't having fun, in fact I wanted to go home.

I heard some songs by the killers playing, I stood up on a bench and looked for the stage

"What are you doing doll?" He asked,

"There's a concert" I smiled,

"And?" He mumbled I looked down at him and he was kicking the dirt

"It's the killers! Let's go!" I said pointing

"They aren't here, plus There ain't no good music here" he rolled his eyes

"Come on Dallas you owe me"

"I owe you shit" he started walking away and I jumped on his back

"Pwease." I whispered in his ear

"No, I could have gotten a girl" he mumbled

"You actually liked her? Sephora called they want there makeup back, and the circus is hiring" I said to him

"Dam you really did her like that" he chuckled

"Am I wrong?" I asked as we both walked

"You ain't wrong but dam, didn't know a goodie two shoes like you would be that mean" he chuckled And stuffed his hands in his pocket

"I'm not really that much of a goodie two shoes," I mumbled

"You're a soc Dani, and you go to a private school, you are probably the dream child," he mumbled and kicked a rock

"If only my parents saw me that way" I looked down and sighed

"What you mean? You're smart, social, rich, nice, annoying, hot" he said looking at me, I felt my cheeks get hot

"You think that about me?" I smiled

"You're also annoying, stupid, bitchy, but other then that yeah, I mean your not bad" he chuckled and playfully punched his arm

"I'll take that as a compliment, I guess" I smiled and looked down

"You still want to go to the dumb concert?" He asked

"Duh" I grabbed his hand and ran towards the crowd

I started dancing and dally just looked at me and laughed,

"Dance with me you idiot" I grabbed his hands and We both started dancing along to the song.

The sky was dark and the stars were shining, I looked up and smiled a slow song came on, and everyone had a partner to dance with. I put my hands behind Dally's neck making my arms go on his shoulders.

"Want to dance?" I asked him smiling

"Might as well" he mumbled, and put his hands on my waist.

"Why did you kiss me earlier?" He asked As we swayed along to the music

"I was trying to get that girl away from you cause you made Kevin go away."

"Whatever," he shook his head and looked down, I felt like the whole world stopped and it was just us dancing slowly to the music but his phone started vibrating in his pocket, "let me take this real quick" he picked up the phone

"Yeah" I nodded, and looked down

"What you want? -Fine--is it fair fight?-- I'll be there" dally hung up the phone

"Where you going?" I asked

"Uh I have to get to a fight, that I forgot about, I'll be fine though" he said

"Are you going to be okay?" I asked

"Why all of a sudden you had a change of heart?" He chuckled and started walking away from the crowd, and I walked with him well I tried keeping up

"I don't know, but your going to a fight and is a shout wondering if-" he cut me off

"I'll be fine Dani" he chuckled

"Two and Darry are over there" he pointed, I looked over and when I turned back he was gone.

I walked over to Darry and Two-bit,

"Hey there Dani" Darry smiled

"Hi" I grinned

"Where's Dal?" Two asked

"He had to get to a fight" I nodded

"It's getting kinda late, um I think I'll start heading home, thanks for inviting me" I kissed there cheek and started walking away

"Who's gonna pick you up?" Two asked

"Lyft" I giggled and they chuckled and nodded.

I walked out of the fair and I walked down the lonely streets, and I saw someone on the bench holding there side and groaning.
