The exit was right there, right there, one minute you were running towards it's almost out the dormside foot into the common room area the next your small taste of success and freedom was snatched away like a 20 dollar wig from amazon and you were left groaning and winded on the floor.

Your vision blurred at you stared at the person hovering above you holding something , it looked like a weapon, an axe, baseball bat maybe? You didn't know , the only thing you knew was what was about to come next and the pain you were about to be in.

"Pathetic." Scoffed Changbin as he raised the weapon above his head and struck down on your hand chopping it right off with intense force making the halls ring with your cries of pain as blood gushed out your amputated spot as you wailed and screamt in pain(idk how that works)

Let the shock sink in , let the shock sink in, you repeated to yourself over and over and over again, but the blood. There was blood everywhere, your body spasmed in pain as you eyed your hand that laid lifeless on the growing pool of warm blood

Your body froze as you dropped into shock and soon enough you were knocked out cold. "Well wasn't that a tad bit too dramatic" commented hyunjin as he walked by, careful not to touch the pooling floor.

"You're one to talk" Scoffed the older male as he dragged along the weapon to a corner before taking your body into his arms, drenching himself in your blood. "And the arm?" The blonde male said with a grimace as he eyed the lifeless part that twitched every few seconds

"Give it to jeongin or something." Changbin waved as he started making his way down a hidden flight if stairs by the last door in the 1st floor.

You flinched a bit as the drug hadn't fully kicked in so you still felt whatever was round you, although everything looked so vivid and colourful , maybe you just had to take more of the gummies he gave you.

Your leg goes still as a line severed by his knife in the gap of your knee. You dazingly looked at his blury face as a small smirk was on his face.

You don't really know how that had happened. Dr. Jeung was reported missing a few weeks before that, you started getting better until you weren't, Seungmin avoided you like the plague after you refused to have sex with him and you've been finding dead animals in your room.

Scared and paranoid you stared trying your best to find some healthy stimming ways but what was that in a place like stayzone.

Then he drew you in, with a promise of comfort and platonic love and understanding plus your only friend was ghosting you so you were more attention starved than ever.

His relaxing methods were... odd. Hang upside down, hold your breath until you feel like you're about to pass out, all you have to do is give yourself physical pain to balance out the emotional one.

So... it went from harmless methods to harmful ones, sometimes he'd draw lines with razors he had snuck in on your arms when he put you under the influence of a happy pill or whatever he called it. Would one call you masochist for enduring and getting used to the pain? Or would he get called a sadist for enjoying the power he got from inflicting pain into you.

But seriously, this is south Korea you're talking about, it doesn't matter what he's doing or how wrong it is, what matters is that you had no self respect and you should've done better, you were in the wrong.

He never used his grey knife for these hangouts he said it was meant for killing deer and was dangerous even without his intent behind it.

These nights required something smaller but with the same razor edge and he watched raptly at the way skin dents under the flat of his short blade.

Smiling at the bits of blood at prinkled at the lines he drew below leaning down and licking away at the wounds, humming softly whenever you winced at the feeling of his tongue against the scars or the feeling of the blade digging into your skin ... you weren't high enough.

Whenever you woke up from your 'episodes' you'd always wonder if 'he' was real or a figment of your imagination you created to brush off the guilt of the harm you inflicted on yourself , so you had another person to blame.

You weren't hurting yourself, it wasn't self harm. He was was hurting you, it was ... it wasn't abuse. Just.. assistance.

You needed to get out of this place, you weren't crazy. This place was making you crazy. You were fine before it. And all the males you'd chat with were starting to creep you out.

Jeongin showing up randomly and always holding your hands and having innie beg you to play hide and seek with him.

Seungmin ghosting you.

Felix always saying shit like "I really like your eyes, I wish I had your eyes" you had the same eye colour-

Jisung somewhat being at almost every single place you were at , at first you thought it was a coincidence... but... wasn't he on a different floor?

Hyunjin painting nude portraits of you.

Changbin was also pulling a seungmin but he'd smile at you from time to time, you barely had interactions so...

Minho stopped giving you thornless roses , sometimes they'd look like they were dying or with a bit of dirt? Or dried blood but you'd just say it's dirt and they had thick thorns... maybe he got bored of taking out all of them

And Chan... Chan was the one that was scaring you the most. From saying you should stay away then giving you every reason not to, he was the man that you ran to.

He was the reason you started drugging yourself to numb yourself from pain as he would carve away at your skin. You couldn't say no. He'd have you reported and you'd be moved to the 3rd floors suicide watch wing. Plus like he'd always say. It was self harm since you were willingly letting him do it for you.

"Why didn't you just run when you had the chance?"

You felt cold. No you were freezing like you had woken up in the artic or something, cranking your eyes open slowly it took you a small while to be able to see things clearly after a few blinks.

You were sat on a chair but you could only feel one hand tied behind your back on the chair probably cause the other is too cold- yes

You looked around the space your heart rate picking up at every single thing you saw, 1 you were not alone , there were dozens of other people in the same situation as you but there was one thing they didn't have... a beating heart.

Their skins were pale with purple, blue and green growing on random parts of their bodies, they were stripped of clothing and some stared right at you somewhat judging yiu for still being alive , some could've been looking at you but you'd never be able to tell since they didn't have the needed body part for that action.

Letting out a breathy sigh, you looked down at your lap to let out a small pained shriek from the cold building in your chest. You closed your eyes hoping that when you open them for the second time what you were looking at was just you hallucinating from the cold or however the world works.

You opened your eyes and it was still the same, your hand wasn't a hand, like it had been your whole entire life, a bloody bandage was wrapped around the stump you now had and if it wasn't for the cold you swore you'd be dead by now.

When you looked at it for too long you failed to even let out a tear from how cold you were so you just felt out a choked sob and tilted your head to the side as you spilt the contents in your stomach onto the ground near you.

"That's something to walk into" a voice said as the person walked up to you with a grimace , ignoring the look they got from you they untied your one hand and legs before lifting you up and carrying you with them.

The next thing you knew is that you were plunged into warmth that you accepted willingly as the water covered your entire body.

You were warm

The aching cold was slowly moving away.

You could feel your one hand

The stump now stung like hell.

But you were warm.

Having the dirt from the day before washed off.

You were warm

You were warm

You... were warm

You... were warm

But you weren't breathing, you were warm but not breathing. panic settled within you causing you to thrash in the tub but the hand holding you down by your neck didn't even but, why didn't you notice it before? Cause you lack survival instincts , you had the survival instict of a resident evil npc , right, skill issue? Before you could even think of passing out you were pulled up for air before being drowned again.

The process repeating over and over again that you felt tired, dizzy and nausea building in your core , the words the person kept repeating

"why did you try to leave y/n-ah, we treated you like royalty didn't we? Why did you even think of leaving, we thought you'd be different but you're just like all of them, a fucking traitor" were all that rang in your head, when you were pulled up for air the nth time you just spiked up watery bile as you had nothing in your stomach making you wince breathlessly.

Your puffy red eyed strained on Hyunjin's face with silent pleas of mercy and he just looked feral as if he was about to do something was worse than what he was doing to you but something was holding him back, pity? Humanity? You silently hoped but were you way into the cold, so far from the truth. You had no other thoughts as you were pushed under water yet again

Jisung’s room was dimly lit, the air thick with tension as the two figures stood at opposite ends of the room. The weight of the silence was unbearable.

Jisung’s heart beat in his throat as he stared at Felix, whose usual bubbly energy was replaced by something darker. The blonde was leaning against the desk, arms crossed tightly over his chest, his expression unreadable. Jisung could feel the distance between them growing by the second, and it only made his urgency grow stronger.

"Felix, please," Jisung's voice broke the silence, quieter than he intended. He tried to mask the desperation, but it was there—clear as day. "You have to see this isn’t right. What we’re doing to her—it’s not love. It’s control."

Felix’s head snapped toward him, eyes narrowing. There was a flash of something dangerous behind them, but Jisung pushed through. He had to.

“Jisung,” Felix’s voice was sharp, like a knife cutting through the air. “Don’t start. I don’t need this right now.” He shifted, his posture stiff, as though he was trying to shield himself from the truth.

“No, you do need this,” Jisung insisted, stepping forward, his gaze fixed on Felix’s, unwavering. “She’s breaking, Felix. You see it too. We’re breaking her, piece by piece, and for what? To make her love us? To make her stay?”

Felix laughed, a bitter sound that had no warmth. It was hollow, like a laugh at his own expense. "You think we’re breaking her? She’s here, isn’t she? She’s alive, she’s with us. That’s all that matters. She’s where she’s supposed to be." His voice was cold, robotic almost

The room felt even smaller as the silence dragged on, the tension between the two of them becoming almost unbearable. Felix’s arms tightened across his chest, his jaw clenching as he avoided Jisung’s eyes, but Jisung wouldn’t let him look away. He couldn’t. Not now.

"You're lying to yourself," Jisung said quietly, but his words were firm, as though they had a weight behind them. "You know this isn’t right. You know it too, Felix."

Felix scoffed, rolling his eyes, trying to brush it off like it was nothing, but Jisung could see the cracks in his resolve. The slight tremor in his fingers. The way his shoulders tensed every time Jisung spoke.

"Why are you even bothering with this?" Felix snapped, the edge to his voice rising. "She’s here. She’s ours. Everything we’ve done is for her, Jisung. She doesn't see it now, but she will. She has to."

“No,she isnt 'ours' chris has this wolfy claim over her, to him, she belongs to him only.” Jisung said sharply, taking a step closer. His voice softened, but there was a dangerous intensity behind every word.

“This isn’t love. This isn’t what she needs. We’ve been taking away her choices, Felix, her freedom. I know you feel it too. You can’t pretend you don’t see it. You’re trying to force her into something she can’t give, and it’s hurting her."

Felix’s face twisted with frustration, and without warning, he took a step toward Jisung, his hands balling into fists at his sides. “You don’t get it"

Felix's voice was rising now, thick with frustration, as he took a step toward Jisung. His fists clenched, the tension in his body palpable, as though he was holding back an explosion.

“You don’t get it, Jisung! This is the only way, okay?” Felix’s words spilled out like a flood, desperate and broken. “She’s ours, whether she likes it or not. We saved her, we gave her a place, a reason to stay. And if she can’t see that, then it’s our job to make her understand! We’ve done everything for her, and we’ll keep doing it. But you—you’re just...”

Jisung didn’t let him finish. His voice cut through Felix’s anger like a blade, calm but unwavering.

“You’re just trying to make her love you, Felix,” he said softly, but with an undeniable strength. “You’re trying to force her to feel something that’s not there. This isn’t love. You’re hurting her.”

Felix’s eyes flared with a flash of rage. He lunged toward Jisung, hands reaching out to push him back, but Jisung was ready. With a quick movement, he sidestepped Felix’s grasp, catching his wrist before it could land.

“Stop, Felix!” Jisung’s voice was low but firm, his grip tightening around Felix’s wrist. His own heart was racing now, but he didn’t let go. “You’re not thinking straight. We’re hurting her, not saving her. Can’t you see that? We’ve made her feel like she has no way out. No way to breathe, no way to think for herself. And that—” Jisung’s voice faltered for a moment, but he steeled himself, forcing the words out. “That’s not love, Felix. That’s control.”

Felix’s face was red with anger, his breath coming out in sharp, ragged bursts. “Shut up! You don’t know anything! You don’t get it!” He tugged at his wrist, trying to break free, but Jisung held fast.

“I do get it,” Jisung replied, his voice barely above a whisper. But it was a whisper that held so much power, so much resolve, that it cut through Felix’s fury like a blade.

“I understand what you’re feeling. I do. But forcing her to stay here, to love us... that’s not the way. We’ve backed her into a corner, Felix. And if we don’t stop, we’ll lose her. We’ll lose everything.”

Felix shook his head, his eyes wild with a mixture of anger and confusion. “No, Jisung. You’re wrong. You don’t know what she needs. I know what she needs.”

Jisung’s grip tightened slightly, forcing Felix to look him in the eyes. There was no backing down now. Not for either of them.

“You think you know what she needs,” Jisung said slowly, each word deliberate. “But you’re too blinded by obsession to see the truth. You can’t force someone to love you. You can’t make them feel something they don’t. All we’re doing is pushing her away. Pushing her into a corner where she feels like she has no choice. You know that, Felix. Deep down, you know I’m right.”

Felix’s chest was rising and falling rapidly, his emotions swirling like a storm inside of him. His fists were trembling, but his mind was racing. Was Jisung right? Was he really just too blinded by his own desires to see what was happening? Could he actually be hurting her?

For the briefest moment, Felix faltered. His gaze dropped to the floor, the fire in his eyes dimming ever so slightly. But it was enough. It was enough to make Jisung take one final, desperate step forward.

“We can still fix this,” Jisung said, his voice steady but laced with a quiet plea. “We can help her. But we have to stop. We have to stop trying to control her. If we don’t... we’ll destroy everything.”

Felix’s lips pressed into a thin line, his breath shuddering through his chest. The conflict was written all over his face—his mind torn between the actions he had taken and the truth Jisung was presenting. For a moment, there was no sound in the room, just the faint sound of their breaths.

Then, Felix broke the silence, his voice trembling with something that almost sounded like regret. “I—I don’t know how to stop, Jisung. I... I can’t just let go. I can’t...Chan hyung–”

Before Jisung could respond, Felix shook his head, taking a step back, his hands running through his hair in frustration. “I don’t know if I can stop.” His voice was raw, like a wound that hadn’t healed. “I’ve waited for this. For her. We’ve all waited... I don’t know what else to do.”

Jisung’s heart hurt at the sound of Felix’s voice, so full of pain and confusion. He released Felix’s wrist gently, his own hands trembling as he stepped back. “I know. But I’m asking you, Felix. Please... please help me. Help me stop this before it’s too late.”

For a long moment, Felix just stood there, his back turned to Jisung, shoulders hunched as he grappled with his emotions. He didn’t speak for what felt like an eternity. Then, finally, his voice, softer now, barely above a whisper, broke the silence.

“What if it’s already too late?”

Jisung’s heart sank. He had no answer to that question.

But as Felix stood there, his form slumped, the weight of his words hanging in the air, Jisung could only hope that it wasn’t. That there was still time to save her. To save them all.

And so, with a heavy heart, Jisung walked toward the door. He couldn’t make Felix change. He couldn’t force him to see the truth. But he couldn’t give up on her. Not now. Not ever.

“I’ll try to fix this, Felix,” Jisung said quietly, before he left the room. “But I can’t do it alone.”

Felix didn’t respond. He didn’t even move. And for the first time since Jisung had met him, the space between them felt impossibly vast.

"Lix–"

"N..no.. if I... no.." felix panted his eyes widening comically "he's gonna kill us"

"Wh–"

"Glaf you know lixie" Chan’s voice came from the door as he eyed them both with distaste "felix , please... ignore the fear ... please " begged jisung but felix shook his head and with Chan's word , felix opened Jisung's window throwing himself out from the 3rd floor, jisung didn't have to hear a thud to know that felix wasn't alive anymore.

Jisung’s trembling hands pressed against his face as tears streamed freely, his muffled sobs echoing in the tension-filled room. He looked up, his eyes red and swollen, glaring at Chan, whose expression was an unsettling mix of cold indifference and simmering frustration.

“You didn’t have to do that!” Jisung’s voice cracked, raw with grief and fury. He took a step toward Chan, his body trembling with the effort to keep himself from collapsing. “He was one of us, Chan! How could you—how could you just… get rid of him like that?”

Chan didn’t flinch. His gaze was steady, icy, his jaw set as he crossed his arms over his chest. “Felix knew the rules, Jisung. He broke them. I did what I had to do.”

Jisung’s breath hitched, and he let out a strangled cry, his hands balling into fists. “He didn’t break anything, Chan! He wanted to fix this mess you’ve created too! But you—you turned on him. Just like you turn on everyone who doesn’t fall in line with your twisted, psychotic rules.”

Chan’s eyes darkened, a muscle in his jaw ticking as he stepped closer, towering over the younger man. His voice was low, almost a growl. “Watch your mouth, Jisung. You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Oh, don’t I?” Jisung shot back, his voice rising, desperate, as tears streaked his face. “You think this is all some perfect plan, don’t you? Like you’re the only one who knows what’s best for all of us. But you’re not, Chan. You’re destroying us. One by one, you’re tearing us apart!”

Chan’s lips curled into a humorless smirk, his eyes narrowing dangerously. “You think you know better, huh? You think you can do what I do? Keep everyone in line? Keep us safe?” His voice grew louder, cutting through the space between them like a whip.

“You don’t understand the pressure, Jisung. The sacrifices I’ve had to make to keep this place together. Felix made his choice. He chose to give in. That’s on him, not me.”

Jisung’s voice broke into a scream, his grief boiling over into rage. “He chose humanity over this, This prison you’ve built for us, Chan! He chose to do the right thing, and you—you killed him for it!, before he could even help”

For the briefest moment, Chan’s stoic mask slipped. Something flickered in his eyes—regret, doubt, something human—but it vanished as quickly as it appeared, replaced by a cold, steely resolve.

“I did what had to be done,” Chan said firmly, his voice devoid of emotion.

Jisung shook his head violently, his sobs bubbling up again. “No. No, you didn’t have to do anything. You * chose to do this. You’re the one who’s lost control, Chan. Not Felix. Not me. You and chris!”

Chan stepped closer, his presence looming over Jisung like a shadow. “You’re skating on thin ice, Jisung. Be very careful about what you say next.”

But Jisung didn’t back down. His grief had turned to a reckless kind of defiance, his tears glinting under the dim light as he stood his ground.

“You can get rid of me too, if that’s what you’re thinking,” he spat, his voice trembling but resolute. “But you can’t stop the truth. You’re a monster, Chan. And one day, everyone’s going to see it.”

Chan’s hand twitched, his fingers curling into a fist. For a moment, it looked like he might strike Jisung, but he stopped himself, exhaling sharply through his nose.

“You’re lucky I still have use for you,” Chan said finally, his tone colder than ice. “But don’t push me, Jisung. You’ve already seen what happens when people cross the line.”

Jisung’s shoulders heaved as he fought to catch his breath, his body trembling with the weight of his anger and sorrow. “I don’t care anymore,” he whispered, his voice hollow. “Take me out too, if that’s what you want. But I won’t stop fighting for her. And I won’t stop fighting to undo the damage you’ve done.”

Chan stared at him for a long, tense moment, his expression unreadable. Then, with a sneer, he turned and strode toward the door.

“Don’t test me, Jisung,” he said over his shoulder, his voice low and warning. “You might not like the outcome.”

Jisung didn’t respond. He stood there, rooted in place, as Chan left the room. Once he was alone, his knees gave out, and he collapsed onto the floor, sobbing into his hands.

For the first time, the fire in Jisung’s heart felt dim, almost extinguished. But even as despair threatened to consume him, one thought remained clear in his mind: he would fight. For Felix, for you, and for everything Chan had taken from them.

But now Thanks to him... felix suffered the same fate as 009 and Jeongin. But unlike the two... Jeongin was willing to die.

The late afternoon sun filtered through the lush branches of the cherry blossom tree in the small garden. Its pink petals swirled lazily in the breeze, scattering across the weathered wooden bench where little Jisung sat, his short legs swinging back and forth as they didn’t quite reach the ground.

Beside him sat Hyejin, his elderly babysitter. Her hair was silvery white, pulled into a loose bun, and her face was lined with the kind of wrinkles that spoke of both hardships and a life well-lived. She was knitting, her hands moving with a practiced ease, but her attention was mostly on the boy beside her.

“Why do you look so sad today, my little sparrow?” Hyejin asked, her voice warm and soothing.

Jisung sniffled, rubbing his eyes with his tiny fists. “Mama and Papa yelled at me again. They said I shouldn’t talk back to grown-ups, but…” He paused, fidgeting with the hem of his oversized sweater. “But the teacher was being mean to another kid. I just told her to stop.”

Hyejin’s knitting needles paused, and she turned to look at him, her wise eyes soft with understanding. “Ah, I see. And what did the teacher say to you?”

“She said it wasn’t my place to speak up.” Jisung’s voice quivered, and his lip trembled as he fought back tears. “And mom said I shouldn’t meddle in things that don’t involve me.”

Hyejin set her knitting aside, resting a gentle hand on Jisung’s small shoulder. “Oh, my dear boy, the world can be a confusing place sometimes. But let me tell you something very important.”

Jisung looked up at her, his wide, tearful eyes full of curiosity.

“A good person,” Hyejin began, her voice carrying the weight of years and wisdom, “is someone who doesn’t turn a blind eye to what’s wrong, even if it’s easier to stay quiet. A good person will stand up for what is right, even if it means standing alone. Even if it costs them something precious.”

“Even if it costs them… like what?” Jisung asked, his small brow furrowing.

“Sometimes it costs friends, comfort, or safety,” Hyejin said, brushing a stray petal off his shoulder. “Sometimes it even costs a piece of yourself—your time, your peace, maybe even your happiness. But the world doesn’t become a better place unless people like you fight for it.”

Jisung tilted his head, his young mind trying to wrap around the gravity of her words. “What if the bad people are too strong? What if I’m too small to fight them?”

Hyejin smiled, her weathered face softening as she cupped his cheek. “Being small doesn’t mean being powerless, little sparrow. Even the tiniest bird can sing a song that inspires others. And when you see evil, when you see something wrong, you must do what you can to stop it. Always. Because if good people stay quiet, the bad will only grow stronger.”

Jisung’s lip quivered again, but this time it wasn’t sadness—it was determination. “But what if I get hurt?”

Hyejin’s expression turned serious, her hand falling to rest on his. “Then you’ll heal, my dear. But if you let evil go unchecked, the hurt it causes will spread to everyone, not just you. You have to decide if you’d rather face a little pain now or let the whole world suffer later.”

He sniffled, wiping his nose on his sleeve. “That’s… hard.”

“Yes, it is,” Hyejin said with a nod. “But you’re a brave boy, Jisung. And being brave doesn’t mean you’re never scared. It means you do the right thing, even when you are.”

Jisung looked down at his small hands, clenching them into tiny fists. “I don’t want to be quiet when bad things happen. I want to fight. Like a hero!”

Hyejin chuckled, her laughter light and full of affection. “And fight you shall, little sparrow. But remember this: a true hero isn’t someone who seeks glory or revenge. A true hero is someone who fights because they love. They love justice, they love goodness, and they love people enough to protect them, no matter what.”

Jisung nodded, his youthful face set with newfound resolve. “I’ll be a hero. I promise, Hyejin. I’ll always fight for what’s right!”

Hyejin smiled, her eyes glistening with emotion as she ruffled his hair. “I believe you, my dear. And I hope you never forget this moment, no matter how big or strong you grow.”

Jisung grinned up at her, his sadness forgotten as he threw his arms around her. “Thank you, Hyejin. You’re the best!”

She held him close, her heart swelling with pride and a bittersweet ache. “And you, little sparrow, are destined to be something truly special. Just don’t lose your way.”

As the sun dipped lower in the sky, the two of them sat together on the bench, surrounded by the gentle rustle of leaves and the soft scent of cherry blossoms. Little Jisung didn’t know it then, but Hyejin’s words would stay with him, a guiding light in the darkest moments of his life.

And he was going to fight. [Predebut han style.. jk]

[Present time]

The rage started as a faint flicker, a small ember that sparked in the pit of Jisung’s stomach. At first, it was manageable—a slow simmer that he could try to brush off with shaky breaths and trembling hands. But then the ember found fuel. A word, a glance, a condescending smirk that struck the wrong nerve, and suddenly, the flame roared to life.

His chest tightened, his breath hitching in uneven gasps as his vision blurred. The world around him seemed to shrink, his focus tunneling on the source of his fury. His thoughts, usually chaotic but coherent, fragmented into jagged shards of emotion that jabbed at him from every angle.

Hot. Everything was too hot.

He really didn't know how he did it, he blinked once and seungmin was on the floor in a pool of blood. A pool of his own blood , he blinked twice and he saw a bloodied Minho dragging himself towards a door before watching himself stab through the man's back several times, when did he get a knife?

The next time he blinked muffled shouts echoed around bit they didn't bother him as he watched hyunjin fall to the ground with the knife that was once in his hold shoved deep through his throat before his eyes landed on your passed out figure on the tiled floor and them was when he snapped out of his daze.

He was no better than chan... None of them were,  they were just as deranged... if he couldn't save them all then he'd take them down with him, excluding you, you didn't belong here,  you should've never come here
