Wednesday's POV

I'm sitting at my desk attempting to write, but lately I've been getting hit with writers block. The last thing I need at the moment. I figured after that's happened, I would have ideas but my brain is failing me. I might go insane, more than I already am. If that's even possible.

There's a knock at the door and Enid goes to answer it. A few moments pass before I get called over.

"Um Wednesday, it's for you." Enid says

I turn around and I can see worry in Enid's eyes. I get up from my chair and walk towards the door. I'm not too shocked to see that it's the sheriff.

"I need you to come down to the station." Sheriff Galpin says

"For what?" I dryly asked.

He raises his eyebrow at me.

"Two people are currently missing and one of them happens to be my son. The other one is no other than your girlfriend's mom. So come on Addams." He says

I look at Enid. I'm unfazed. I can get out of this, done it before.

"I suppose I'll be back later." I say looking at her softly.

I face the sheriff again and I start walking ahead of him. He's a few steps behind me but I'm watching as we pass through the hallways, people are whispering. This shouldn't surprise a single soul that I'm being escorted by the sheriff. Not the first time this has happened so I don't know why people still act like it's shocking news.

The sheriff opens the back door of the cop car and shuts me in. He gets in the driver seat and starts driving. If this was anyone else, they would be scared but I'm not. I don't get scared. Not when it comes to law enforcement. They don't have the bodies so there's no actual crime.

We pull into the sheriff's station and he lets me out of the car, escorting me to an interrogation room. I walk in and the receptionist rolls her eyes seeing me back here again. You're not the only one annoyed.

"Have a seat." Galpin says

I sit down and I wait for him to start talking.

"Let's start with Tyler." He says sitting across from me

I look at him blankly, like normal.

"What about your little monster?" I remark

"He's missing." He responds

"Missing what? A brain? Common sense?" I respond

Galpin scoffs and rolls his eyes.

"For fucks sake Addams. Tyler has not been home in well over a week. You're the only person that I know would do something to him after what he did last year." He says

"I thought Tyler was in a mental institution for what he did." I say

"They released him to me, they said he was fine." Galpin says

I sigh.

"My guess is that a relative of someone he killed, got to him first. I would never waste my time on him. I have better things to do." I respond

"Alright then, let's talk about Esther Sinclair." He snaps

"I have nothing nice to say about that woman." I say

"Hence why you're a suspect in her disappearance as well." He says crossing his arms and leaning back in the chair.

"You do know I don't like anyone. That's common knowledge. I have nothing nice to say about anyone." I retort

The sheriff puts his head in his hands and lets out a big frustrated sigh. Good. He's getting annoyed. Eventually he'll realize he won't get a direct answer out of me.

"Well Mr. Sinclair told us that he remembers Esther calling Enid and after a few minutes you took the phone and threatened her." He says

"She was verbally harassing Enid to the point she was crying. So I simply stated that if she ever spoke to Enid that way again that I would hunt her down like the animal she is." I respond calmly

"So you admit you threatened Esther?" He asks

"It was more of a promise." I say

"You're tiring." He says

"Go to bed then." I say

He stands up and leaves the room. I don't know how long I've been here for but I'm getting impatient. More than normal. Interrogations are my kind of torture but this is getting to be more of an inconvenience at this point. He has no proof of anything. Enid is probably freaking out though and that gives me a little bit of stress.

Enid's POV

I watched as Wednesday walked down the hall with Sheriff Galpin. I know she'll be fine but still worries me. I don't want her to go to prison. I need her here.

Before I shut the door, Yoko barged in causing me to fall on the ground.

"WHY IS ADDAMS BEING ESCORTED OUT BY THE SHERIFF!?" Yoko screams

"I'm on the ground and that's what you care about?" I question while letting out a small laugh.

Yoko looks down at me and offers her hand to help me up. I shut the door behind us and we go over to my bed.

"It's about Tyler and my mom." I say softly

Yoko lets out a gasp.

"Don't worry, Wednesday finds being interrogated fun. She'll make it into some twisted game." I say reassuring Yoko

"What did she do with the bodies?" Yoko asks

I shrug.

"I honestly have no idea. I know she made a phone call to her parents afterwards but that's all I know." I explain

"She won't budge." Yoko says

"No she really won't. She's stubborn as fuck." I respond.

Soon enough my door swings opens again and it's Div.

"So you both don't knock now?" I sarcastically asked

Div shuts the door behind her and jumps onto my bed next to Yoko.

"Everyone is talking about Wednesday being escorted out by the sheriff." Div says

"Why is everyone acting surprised at that?" I ask

"No for real, she gets pulled to the station a handful of times in a semester." Yoko says

"Maybe cause this time she ACTUALLY did something" Div says

"She does something every time, the fuck are you talking about." I say

"We're accessories to murder bro." Div says

I nod.

"Yeah but Wednesday would take the blame herself. She wouldn't throw someone under the bus like that. Like she did the physical killing and she'll take the credit for it." I say

"Do you think they'll be able to pin it on her though?" Yoko asks

"No and if they do she'll just claim insanity like she has been." I say

Yoko and Div laugh at that.

I mean she is criminally insane. That's not a lie but she doesn't do things because of that. She's just.... a little chaotic.

A few hours pass and it's now just after 8pm and the three of us are still just talking about random things. My phone starts ringing and it's the sheriff's office.

"Hello?" I say with a questioning tone

"Enid, can you come pick me up?" Wednesday asks

"Yeah. Yoko, Div and I will be there soon." I say

"Okay. Drive safe." Wednesday says as she hangs up.

"Time to pickup my little criminal." I say standing up.

The three of us walk out of my dorm and head down to Yoko's car. If anyone needs to be arrested it should be Yoko due to her criminally bad driving record.

We hop into her car and she drives to the station. I go in and the lady behind the counter buzzes the door to unlock it so Wednesday can walk out. I see my emo walking out and boy does she look PISSED. I mean she always looks mad but this time damn.

"Let's go." She says walking past me.

I walk behind her until we reached Yoko's car. The car ride back to school was quiet. I can tell Wednesday was thinking heavily about something by the way she had her brows furrowed down. I'm sure she'll talk to me once it's just us.

The car pulls into Nevermore and we walk inside. Yoko and Div went off somewhere, leaving Wednesday and I to walk up to our dorm alone. Once we were inside, Wednesday pulled me into a kiss.  She steps back after a few moments.

"We need to talk." Wednesday says as she motions me to her bed.

I sit on her bed and she sits next to me.

"What happened down there?" I ask

Wednesday sighs.

"The sheriff says that I'm lucky that they can't find the bodies because if they did, they would charge me with two counts of first degree murder." She says

"There's no proof of you doing anything though." I say

"Apparently, Tyler left a little note saying if he ever went missing or died, that it would be due to me." She says

"Really?" I question

Wednesday nods

"But don't worry, I know my family properly took care of them. Tyler and your mother will never be found. I don't even know where they're at." She says

"I swear the sheriff has it out for you." I say leaning my head on her shoulder.

"He does." Wednesday responds

We sit in a comfortable silence for a bit of time before she speaks again.

"Prison wouldn't keep me away from you though. I'd breakout to be with you." She says

"That's cute." I say with a smile.

Wednesday is genuinely a sweet person, deep down. Like really deep. I'm just happy I get to see that side of hers.

It's an accomplishment.
