Mistakes
04:07, 5 August 2024When Draco and I got to the Three Broomsticks he led me to the back room which was empty. "Where do you want to sit?" I asked him as he took his coat off.
Draco shrugged. "Anywhere you want. I reserved the room." I hit his gut. "Ow. What was that for."
"You reserved a whole room?" Draco nodded, I huffed. "You're privileged."
Draco rolled his eyes and put his coat down on a chair. "I wanted to spend time with you."
I rolled my eyes and sat down where Draco pulled out a seat for me. "Like we don't already hang out all the time."
Draco took off his coat and placed it on a different table. "Not like that... I mean, like... Just us two, spending time together."
I smiled softly and raised a brow. "Is this a date?"
Draco smiled slightly. "I thought you would like a date outside of the Room of Requirements." I nodded. "I'll be back. Stay here."
"Alright."
Draco nodded and walked out, a little later it opened again and a man walked in. "Excuse me Miss."
He waved his wand and a tablecloth, two lit candles and two dinner settings appeared on the table, he walked over and handed me a menu and placed the other on Draco's plate.
My brow raised. "Preplanned?" He nodded, I nodded. "Thank you."
"Is there anything I can get you?.. Drinks?"
I smiled. "Two waters and two butterbeers, please." He nodded and walked back out of the room.
I looked at the table. (Damn... This is what you get from dating a Malfoy... But I never saw him have a dinner like this with any of the other gir-)
I blinked away the memories other girls. (They weren't dating. That was just... Boys... Stop thinking about it. It's not your business. He was just hormonal. Damn it... Why do those memories have to...)
I shook my head and took a deep breath. (Where is he?)
The door opened and Draco walked in as if he just did something secretive and now he is hiding. "I ordered water and butterbeer for us." Draco nodded and sat down. "Is everything alright?"
"Yes." He picked up the menu and read it. "What are you thinking of having?"
I eyed him then looked at the menu. "I'm in the mood for red meat."
Draco nodded. "Im glad you aren't a salad girl."
I scoffed. "I see no reason to order such a boring meal when eating out... Plus you've already seen me eat plenty of cupcakes to know I could care less about my weight like other girls."
Draco smiled softly. "I gave you most of those cupcakes."
I nodded. "Thank god I have fast metabolism or else you would have one fat parrot for a girlfriend."
Draco huffed a laugh. "I didn't give you that many." I raised a brow. "It was only for dessert."
I put the menu down. "Yea. Everyday.... What are you getting?"
Draco shrugged. "A salad." He joked.
I rolled my eyes. "So you're one of those boyfriends." Draco gave a slight smile. -------
Later that evening news of Katie Bell, the girl that was part of the DA, was cursed by a necklace meant for Dumbledore. No one knows why Katie had the necklace more how she got a cursed necklace...
But I had a clue of who might have...And that suspicion was supported when Draco suddenly left the dinner table when he heard the rumors.
I followed him when I finally realized what made him storm away, he was quite a distance away and I didn't feel like yelling to him so I walked as fast as I could all the way to the Slytherin common room.
"Draco." He walked up the boys corridor, I started to run. "Draco!" I go up the corridor in time to catch Draco's bedroom door before it shuts. "Draco?"
Draco's pacing the room as he frantically takes off his tie, his breathing is fast. (He's having a panic attack.)
"Hey." I walk to him and move to his front.
Draco looks at me with eyes of fear. "What have I done? I could have killed her." He panted in panic.
I cupped his face. "I need you to breath for me."
Draco shook his head and leans against his desk. "I could of killed her."
(He's going to pass out from hyperventilation.)"Hey, calm down." I supported him as I pushed him back onto the bed. "Draco. She's being taken care of. She will be fine." Draco looked lost in thought. "Draco." I cupped his cheeks.
Draco shook his head, his pupils dilating and his eyes wide with panic. His breathing fast and growing faster as his heartbeat sped up to match, he was shaking physically.
(He's never had one before.) I took off my blind fold and suddenly a wave of jumbled yelling thoughts came into my mind. I couldn't interpret any of it, it so frantic that it made my own mind go into panic.
(Shit. Shit.)"Shhh." I did the only thing I could. I straddled his lap and wrapped my arms around him. "Shhhh." I held him close. "Calm down, Draco. I'm here and I'm not leaving. Shhh." I held him tighter. "Shhh." His breathing slowed down. "I'm not leaving. I'm here for you."
Draco's arms wrapped around my waist and his head nuzzled in the crook of my neck. "Solace. I didn't mean to." He sobbed.
I moved one of my hands up to his head. "I know... I know... Don't think about it. Focus on your breathing. I'm not going anywhere." I could feel tears forming in my eyes. "You're fine. I'm not leaving."
"Solace." Draco breathed out and wrapped his arms around me tighter. "I'm sorry... Don't leave. Please don't leave."
I rubbed his back. "Im not leaving." (Why didn't he tell me his plan?)I realized what position we were in and grew uncomfortable. "Draco?.. How about we lay down. Instead of staying like this... Please."
Draco's head lifted off my shoulder and looked at us. "Oh." He looked at me with his red puffy eyes. "Yea."
I nodded and climbed off him. "How about I stay the night." Draco nodded, I leaned down and kissed his forehead. "Let me go get my pajamas and clothes for tomorrow. I'll be back."
"Solace." Draco grabbed my hand before I moved away. "Stay."
I smiled softly. "I'll be back." He didn't let go of my hand. (His mind is shut down panic mode.)I sighed. "Come on." I pulled his hand, he stood up. "I won't leave but I need my hand."
Draco let go. (This won't be weird. We've spent the night together multiple times before.)
"Where do you keep your pajamas?" I asked softly.
Draco looked up at me then over to the dresser, I nodded and walked over, searched each drawer until I found clothes for sleeping. I took out a pair then walked back to him.
"Solace. I'm fine." Draco came back to reality.
I took out my wand. "Hold still."
I tapped the set of pajamas then waved my wand over Draco, the black suit that was disheveled from his panic earlier appeared in my hand and the folded clothes appeared on him.
"I'm fine now, Sola-"
"Shush... Get in bed as I change. I'm borrowing your pajama pants by the way." Draco raised a brow, I rolled my eyes. "Be quiet and get in the bed."
I walked over to his closet and hung up his suit, then went to his drawer and picked out pajama pants and walked into the bathroom.
I changed into his pants and pulled the strings tight then used my wand to take off my sweater so all I had was my under tank top. After that I walked back out and put my folded clothes on the top of his dresser.
"Solace?" I looked to Draco who was still standing there. "You don't have to stay."
I sighed and walked over to him, he looked at me sadly. "I'm not leaving." Draco looked as if he was trying to memorize my eyes, I smiled softly. "Now we both need a day off. We we are going to cuddle and go to sleep then have a lazy day tomorrow."
Draco leaned his forehead to mine. "Solace... I did something horrible."
"As long as you realize it was horrible and learn from your mistake then I forgive you." I grabbed his hand. "Come on." I pulled him to the bed and moved the blankets. "In, now."
Draco looked at me softly then turned to the bed and crawled in, I moved in next and faced him so my wings weren't in the way. Draco opened his arms and I cuddled to his chest.
"Thank you." Draco said as he held me.
I nuzzled my forehead into his chest. "You would do the same for me." Draco pulled the blanket over my shoulder. "Thanks." I wrapped my free arm around his waist and turned off the light with my magic.
