Ch 93

"You are correct, it is about the tailed beast chakra." 

There wasn't any doubt. Why would there be, there is literally no reason for me to be here. 

"We are channeling the chakra of the tailed beasts to forge a formidable forbidden technique." 

Yes, which in turn kills the host and makes more plot lines. Man, this is getting wild. But a chance to permanently barrow some tailed beast chakra, no problem. Not like a bit of it going missing will mess with their plans. If it does, well that's on them. 

"I'm guessing you have that statue to hold all the chakra, right?" 

I could see the raised eyebrow Madara gave me, along with the rest. I know, I know, I'm saying too much and showing how I know a lot more than I lead on. 

Honestly, this could go two ways. 

I'm silenced for knowing too much. Or I'm going to be observed until the end of time. Probably the second one as I seemed to have shown my worth already. 

Yay me! 

"The Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, seems you know of that as well," Mardara sounds so calculating. 

It's weird. His mind is constantly thinking about me and my predictability and unpredictability. I acted as he thought I would then turn around and do something he didn't expect. 

Honestly this day has been unpredictable for me as well. I found things out about myself that I didn't know before. 

Good to know I'm not a pushover at heart. And also that I apparently don't care about my life. 

"I don't know too much about everything, but I do know that the rings you hold seem to have some role in sealing the tailed beasts into the Demonic Statue, making them irreplaceable." 

Gotta live my life on the wild side, can't be quiet when this guy knows I know too much. Especially for his tastes. 

Pain had been staring at me this whole time, unblinkingly and analytically. Horrible, really, because this man could also kill me whenever he wants. 

Konan was the same, but she was more curious. Almost like a child, but more darker and murdery. 

Madara, well the mask doesn't help much with his expressions. But his body language screams calm and collected. That man thinks he's in control and is just amused half the time. 

Also impressed but I'm reaching. Can't a girl dream? 

"Correct." Madara answered simply. 

He didn't say anything else. It was just a confirmation and a nod of the head, acknowledging me. But that's all. 

Well, as for my real purpose for being here and the real reason this man hasn't gutted me. They probably want to find out if I can make extracting and sealing the tailed beasts chakra easier. In other words, not the three day process. 

Of course, that could very much change the plot and such. But I also don't think it will really. Each time they do it, even if the time is a little faster, it doesn't really matter. 

But I have an idea on how to make it seem like I did something but actually not do anything at all. I help and I live, best of both worlds. But I do have such a great idea. 

"Please give me a few days to think about and see if I can help you, I just want to make sure I don't accidentally do something that would make you give me your wrath." 

Still a chance I might die by these guys hands, haven't left this place yet so fair same. 

I wanna leave. 

I wanna go home. 

"If that is what you think is best, I will allow it." 

Madara, I might kiss you. You generous and merciful- 

You're the one who put me in this situation!! What do you mean allow, is everything I do now have to be approved by you? Am I now on surveillance?

You motherfu- 

"There will be two members waiting for you outside, they will watch you." 

You mean watch over me. You don't want me to run away and escape. Ha, well jokes on you, I still can run away. Probably. 

"Sure, I owe someone a punch anyways." 

I owe many people an ass beating actually, but they will be spared. I'm so merciful. I can only be so strong, people. I can only handle so much disrespect. 

Madara, who was leaning against the wall calmly, pushed off and walked towards me. But this time is different from a few minutes ago. I'm actually useful now, and threatening me will get him nowhere. 

He stopped in front of me, close enough that I had to tilt my head up to make eye contact. I crossed my arms, irritation slowly creeping into my thoughts and expression. 

"Ishi Uchiha," Madara did not turn on his sharingan, but he did sound like he was giving me a warning. 

"Let me be clear: you do not speak of what you've heard, do you understand?" 

While he is giving me a warning, that itself isn't the most threatening part. While him acting so calm and collected is giving me a shiver down my spine, it's his lack of threat that's making me frown. 

He knows that I know the consequences. He doesn't need to lay them out or speak the words. His presence and just him in general makes that statement clear. 

That is authority. 

That is aura. 

"I understand," I am in no position to disobey him. 

My words were said in a simple way, I heeded his warning yet I don't speak it out begrudgingly. I know he means business, and I can respect the hustle. 

"They are waiting, you don't want to be late." 

He doesn't move, and neither does Konan or Pain. Guess I am meant to leave by myself. I don't bother to say goodbye, why would I even do that? This isn't business, this is extortion. Even better, I'm kind of here against my will. 

I open the door that I came through and sigh as I meet with the two that will be watching me.

A/n How many people are already so done with school? I know I am. This happens every year, I'm like "Hey, I will be a good student and be on top of everything!" And then lose my will half way through. Anyway, new chapter! Enjoy~
