Ch 62

OK, that took longer than I thought. 

A lot longer. 

Orochimaru left early in the morning, or at least that was what I was told in the note. As usual, I wasn't up. And as usual, no one woke me up. Not sure if that is a blessing or a curse. 

Meh. 

Kabuto was also gone, he was the one to make the note. As he was the last one who left. 

And as Orochmaru is just a lazy ass with a narcissistic personality and... 

...Daddy issues. Orochimaru is now going to be dressed as the Kazekage. 

And yada yada. 

But the only thing I hate about this whole situation is that. 

THEY HAVE ME LOCKED UP IN THE FUCKING ROOM! 

Orochimaru put seals all around the place we were staying at to keep me in. Seemed like they didn't want me to escape and maybe help the other side. 

Which is valid because that was exactly what I was going to do. 

But now I am missing the finals of the chunin exams and I am trapped! 

How dare they! I

've been working on this sucker (seal) for the past hour! Orochimaru knows I'm good with them, so he didn't just put one down. 

He didn't just put two down. 

He didn't even just put five down. 

But 10! 10 seals that he put a lot of his chakra into. No wonder he wasn't doing much but sitting down for the past few days, he was putting chakra into these!! 

I had already gotten through 7 of them. 

See, I show and tell him about what I'm capable of, doesn't mean I show everything to the full extent. Doesn't mean I show all my tricks. 

And he knows that. 

But I don't think he thinks that these would keep me here, because they won't. 

It, of course, would take me a minute to work out how to deal with these. But it wouldn't keep me trapped. 

Not in a million years. 

Never in a million years. 

And he knows that. 

So, I'm going to get out of here. Choke that old snake like I 'let' him do to me, and live my life. 

Yes people, I let him do that. You know narcissistic people work, make them think they're in charge and fool them. 

That's basically this. 

But to my expanse. 

But don't worry, I am completely one for revenge. 

And revenge is what I will have. 

After I got out of the fricking room!! 

I had just released the 8th one that I felt my chakra slowly draining. Maybe this was his plan all along. Not that I would stay in the room. But I would be too tired to even help fight. 

Which, in hindsight, is not a bad plan. If it weren't for that I wasn't going to help fight either way. 

I was just going to meet a few people. 

No biggy. 

The seals were almost all released, one more to go! I was working on the last seal when I felt something. 

The nine tails chakra.

"God damn it! I'm killing both those snakes for making me miss my little brother's match!!" I got the last one released before I bolted out of there, trying to at least make it to see the end of the match. 

I climbed the back of the arena and slowly walked in like I was here this whole time. 

Just then. 

The arena shook violently. 

I frowned and held my ground, frowning even more when I saw Kabuto standing not too far from me. I walked to where he was and stood beside him. 

"You took longer than I thought," Kabuto didn't even turn to face me. 

"It wasn't hard, I just slept in longer than you thought." 

Kabuto chuckled, "you and your sleep." 

I rolled my eyes and looked at the arena, only to see Neji slowly drag himself out of a hole Naruto made. 

"Seems like I made it to the end of the first fight," I said it like I was happy about that fact. But that was an understatement. 

I was downright ecstatic to see a bit of Naruto's fight.

I could only see this fight one time, and it is in person. 

In person!! Who would pass this up? 

After Neji stood up, he took many unsteady steps towards the other hole in the ground where Naruto would be. His legs slightly shaking from exhaustion from the battle he just had. Neji is breathing heavily as he looked into the still smoking hole when an unconscious Naruto lies. 

"Sorry, but this is reality. You're a failure, this match is over." Neji didn't have any time when an arm shot out of the ground straight towards him. 

It was Naruto! 

He punched Neji. 

Hard. 

Very hard, knocking his head back and throwing him in the air. Naruto landed on his feet as Neji hit the ground. 

Neji shook in pain, "I...Can't move." 

Naruto was breathing heavily, slightly bleeding but completely bruised. His shadow clone finally disappearing. 

"I should have guessed you'd use that shadow clone jutsu. It's your specialty after all. I was careless." It's excuse after excuse from Neji. 

"For the record, I failed the graduation exam 3 times. Because there was this one jutsu that was always on the exam, and it tripped me up every time. It was the one jutsu that I just couldn't master." 

Naruto had everyone captivated with his little explanation. Everyone held their breath, as Naruto showed why he was the main character. 

"My clones were pathetic. That's right, I flunked the shadow clone jutsu every time. So don't come whining to me with this destiny stuff." Naruto and Neji were still breahing heavily. 

"And stop trying to tell me you can't change what you are. You can do it too, because unlike me, you are not a failure." 

No, Naruto. You're not a failure. 

When Naruto was announced the winner, the cheers rang throughout the whole place. 

I smiled genuinely, "you should be proud, Naruto."
