Ch 40

The 3 days I've been here have been terrible. 

See people, I'm still injured. 

And Orochimaru thought that it was time to change hideouts. 

Kill me. 

They put a few things in scrolls and were ready to move. They don't know, but I'm injured! 

"Are you ready, Hitori?" I nodded but I was praying to every god that nothing bad would happen. Did I get medical ninjutsu, yes. Enough for me to heal completely, hell no. I got just enough for me to heal without problems. 

But just when I was released I had to run for miles as fast as I could. 

Kill them. 

"I'm good," I had all my scrolls as well, so I was ok. We all ran out and set off. I was fine for the first hour, but then my chest started to annoy me. And I had a headache on top of that. But I kept silent, there is no way I'm telling them to stop. 

I made it another 2 hours before I felt like I was getting stabbed again. I grunted in pain and slowed down slightly. Orochimaru seemed to notice but he kept going. 

Asshole. 

I made it 5 minutes before I landed on a tree. 

Damn it. 

Kabuto was the first one to come to me, "what happened to you?" I looked down and saw my shirt was slightly wet from my reopened wound. 

I want to die at the moment. 

"Got stabbed a week ago," Kabuto hummed in thought while Orochimaru finally came to check on me. He seemed annoyed. 

Die jerk. 

"I see," he got what the problem was in mere moments. 

He suddenly raised my shirt to see the wound, "HEY!-" 

"Shut up," he looked at the wound as I blushed in embarrassment. 

"The wound is infected." It is! Shit! I'm going back to Nigeru to kill those bastards! How dare they!! 

"But I found it in its early stages, so you'll be fine," I looked down at my red skin in disgust. This wouldn't have happened if people actually did their jobs. 

"Do you want me to heal you?" Stupid question but I'm glad you asked. "I'm good," I sighed. Kabuto shrugged then put some antibiotic cream on the infected wound before wrapping it up in bandages. "Done," Kabuto said, I finally felt relief. 

But not for long. 

"Kabuto, carry her," I snapped my head to Kabuto just in time to see him scoff silently. "Of course, Lord Orochimru." I sighed and went back to 13 years old, maybe this will make it easier for him and me. 

Kabuto gave me a piggyback. And it was a rough ride, I hated every second of it. Nothing became easier. It was another 2 hours until we arrived at our destination. 

And I just wanted to take a nice warm bath. I haven't had a decent bath since Nigeru, and even then, there was limited time. 

"Is there a bath here?" I asked Orochimaru, he turned to me with a nod. 

"Let Kabuto show you," and I did as he said. 

"Kabuto, Orochimaru told me to find you," Kabuto got what I was asking. 

"Follow me," we walked for a few minutes down these long hallways. There were a few twists and turns, but all in all I would never remember my way through here. 

"Through this door is a bath," I turned to look at the door which looked like the last door we passed. And the last and the last. 

How?! 

I nodded and went inside, before i closed the door Kabuto asked me, "why do you have all your stuff?" I turned to him with a smirk, "just trying something." Kabuto looked confused but let me close the door. 

I looked at the bathtub, decent at best. The room was dark with only candles being the light. It was decently clean, enough that I wouldn't mind it for today. 

It was good enough for me. 

I took out the book Namochi gave me and flipped to the page I wanted, it was a chakra absorption seal. I had made it already, so all I needed was to actually do it. The Chakra Draining Seal that I made could actually drain anything that touched it but all that was in the seal was Namouchi's chakra. 

I made the seal on the ground and connected it to the bathtub in a way that would give me the chakra instead of stealing it. But I had to make it right or I'll have to start over. I made it and turned the water on, making it warm. 

I took off most of my clothes, but I left an undershirt on and went into the water. The warm, almost hot water made me instantly relax. 

"Ohh this feels good," I didn't feel the chakra immediately but after a minute I felt stronger. 

The chakra felt amazing as it went into my body. I felt more powerful and refreshed. I closed my eyes and relaxed more into the water. 

Wait... 

I sensed someone- 

Orochimaru walked in. Without knocking too. 

That little shit. How dare he do that to someone he knows is taking a bath. 

"Come to sneak a peek?" I accuse in an angry voice. Orochimaru rolled his eyes, "I have no interest in your young body," I just turned away because I was not having this conversation. 

Orochimaru went to the wall to my left and leaned against it. 

He wasn't leaving! Why wasn't he leaving!? 

"Is there a reason you're staying?" I was keeping a calm but annoyed tone. Orochimaru smirked, crossing his arms, "I was just curious what this strong feeling of chakra was coming from." I hummed but kept silent. 

Thank god I kept an undershirt on. 

"Why aren't you in your transformed form?" You mean why don't I look 18 at the moment. "More coverage, I am short and don't have a lot of mussels or body fat." Basically another way to say I'm young. 

"Just what are you doing?" I opened my eyes to stare into his snakelike ones, "why should I answer? I don't want you to steal this from me." 

Orochimaru chuckled menacingly, "I thought we were partners, don't partners tell each other's findings?" 

I narrowed my eyes into slits, not at all liking his tone. I had almost forgotten he has great charisma, enough to manipulate people into becoming his willing servants, providing insight into their past and promising them power in order to gain their loyalty. 

But he made one mistake... 

He underestimated how well I also wanted to manipulate him. 

Let's have some fun while we're at it. 

"Well you haven't told me things partners do, so why would I?" 

Fall into my trap. 

"Well I am going to stop doing that," such lies. 

I hold back a smirk, "alright." I sit up and take a seal from my bag, "find someone and use this Chakra Draining Seal to take their chakra. Find me after you do so," let's see how well this works. 

Orochimaru kneeled in front of me and took the seal, putting it in his pocket. But he didn't leave. He stayed where he was. 

Of course there's more with this guy. 

"Who's chakra is this, it feels very strong. Maybe I should find someone similar?" 

It's Uzumaki chakra, but I'm not going to tell him that. No need to hunt down the rest of them. 

"It's a random shinobi," let's end this convo, I want to go back to relaxing soon. 

Orochimaru put his hand in the water, the warmth and chakra made Orochimaru sign in delight. "It feels nice huh." 

What. The. Hell. Is. Wrong. With. This. Guy! 

I just sighed, I myself relaxed more into the water, "it does." 

Orochimaru rested his head on the rim of the bathtub. Closing his eyes, I was left feeling severely uncomfortable once again. 

I looked down at the wound on my shoulder, it was slowly healing from all the Chakra I was absorbing. 

"Hitori, do you know who you are?" I frowned instantly, I hate these topics. "I don't need to know who I am," I have more important business than an identity crisis. 

"Then who are you?" I chuckled, "I am me, and me is I." Orochimaru rolled his eyes, "such a simple way of thinking." I scoffed but stayed silent.

 "I already know Hitori is not your name." I hummed "I know." 

We both didn't move. 

"If I tell you my first or last name, you'll instantly know who I am." 

Orochimaru smirked, "how intriguing, maybe I'll just have to find out on my own." 

I also smirked, "good luck, as I said, I'm already dead."
