We walked through the place without seeing anyone for a long time. Brenda was obviously disgusted by the place. We stayed behind a shack while the guard guy went to go find Newt. The guard came back.

"Did you find Newt?" I asked.

"Yah. He looked as you discribed and he turned his head when we called his name but," The guard said.

"But what?" Minho asked.

"He said-very pointedly, I might add-to tell you guys to get lost. Now, the money."

"No money until we are together. Bring us to him." Minho ordered. I couldn't help but stay mute the whole time. Thinking of Newt not wanting me with him. Just last week, before we left for Denver, he kissed me when he whispered "I love you" in my ear. Now, he's happier without me. Holding back my tears the best I could, we continued walking with the guard. I made my way behind everyone and let go of everything. Tears started pouring.
