After quali

Luciana's point of view

'Told you, didn't I?', Charles kisses my forehead.

'Yes, Charlie. You did, I'm proud of you', I smile at him.

'Son! You did it!', My dad comes running at us and embraces Charles in a hug.

My father grabs my arm and pulls me into a hug.

I feel Charles' hands stroking my hair and he kisses my cheek.

'I mean, I did promise...', Charles shrugs laughing.

'Charles! Can we interview you and Frederic please?', one of the interviewers walk towards us, I recognize her, she's an amazing person and she fought her way through many men for this job position.

Not in a sexual way, in a... badass bitch way.

'Of course!', Charle smiles and the interviewer begins.

'So, a lot of podiums for Ferrari this season. You two happy with that?'.

'Of course! I-', the interviewer's face lights up. 'Oh look! The whole team! Carlos!', she waves at Carlos who happens to walk by.

'Hello there', Sienna says and walks over to stand next to me.

'Hello, thought u were going to Lando?', I ask her.

'He's busy, PR thing or something, I thought why not go to my brother first'.

The interviewer is asking them a lot of good questions, really good.

The Ferrari team is complete.

Charlos.

Really my fav teammates.

Maeve's point of view

I pull off my helmet, and I take out my earplugs.

'Great job, Maeve', Owen smiles as he takes over my stuff.

'Thank you, you really are a great engineer, Owen'.

He places his hand on my shoulder and gives me a reassuring look before he walks away.

I turn around and I bump into Max. 'Well hello there, Miss Maevey'.

I smile immediately when my eyes meet his. 'Hello Max, great to see you'.

'You did so good, congratulations on pole'.

'Thank you, Maxie, you did amazing too!', I say happily, I'm so lucky to have a boyfriend who doesn't let his own achievements get in my way, he's not pouting because he doesn't have pole he is happy because I have it.

'Come on, I really got to give you something', he smiles and I walk along with him.

We enter his driver's room, but not before looking around, checking if other people are near.

'What is it?', I ask curious.

He hands me a black box, it's not big.

'Open it', he giggles, he's obviously happy to give this to me.

I open the box and I'm immediately punched in the gut.

'Oh Max', I say, blinking away tears.

'So, I heard that most girls like to have his initial on a chain round their neck', he carefully grabs the neckless and I turn around for him, I face the mirror and he brushes my hair away. 'We're lucky to have the same initial, so people might think it is your own, but actually, it's mine'.

I feel the neckless around my neck and it's beautiful, It's an M filled with little diamonds. 'Oh Max... I love you so much', I turn around.

'I love you too, Maeve. I love you too'.

'Really?', I say sarcastically. 'Well... what do you like the most about me?'

He stifles a laugh and moves his face towards me.

'I simply can't choose... I love everything about you'.

I giggle. 'Choose one thing, Max'.

'Your heart, the heart in which you love me, the heart in which you are pure in every way... except some minor flaws, for example when you said I had daddy issues', he laughs.

'I apologized for that!', I exclaim.

'I know you did, and I love that you are able to do that and that you acknowledge when you are wrong', he kisses my cheek.

'You are just too sweet, aren't you Verstappen?', I giggle.

'So they say...'

Sienna's point of view

After my conversations with Carlos, Luce and Charles now it's time for me to go to the final destination.

'Hello my Mclaren loves', I smile as I enter the garage.

'Sienna!', his engineers greet me.

'Hello everyone! Where are the boys?', I ask.

'They're inside the motorhome', Nicole smiles.

'Nicole!!', I hurry towards her and she pulls me in for a hug.

'Hello dear, how are you doing?', she squeezes my hand.

'I'm great, life's being nice for once', I laugh. 'The parents joining Oscar for Las Vegas?'.

'Yes, only two races left so we figured, why not go to them?', she smiles, she's so sweet. 'But uhm... not only the parents are here'.

She notices my confused look.

'Hattie's here', she smiles.

Oh my god. Hattie is here?!

'No she isn't', I say.

Nicole laughs. 'She's inside'.

Hattie Fucking Piastri is here.

I run to the motorhome, and indeed, immediately when I enter I feel two arms around me.

'Sien!', Hattie's voice fills my ears.

'Oh my god, Hat. I haven't seen you in forever!'.

Hattie Piastri always prayed for me and Oscar to get together. Whenever I'd be at their house she would force me to play with her barbies, I basically watched her grow up. I haven't seen her in ages and it shows, she is now an adult, and she's beautiful.

'Wow, you haven't aged a bit, have you?', she smiles, her Australian accent very noticeable.

'Well, you have! In a good way! Wow, Hattie... look at you all grown up', I kiss her hair

'It sure is hard to see', Oscar smiles, I hadn't even noticed him and Lando standing there.

'So you are watching your big brother race this weekend?', I ask her.

'Yes! It's really fun, although I wanted to ask you something about my favor-'

'No Hattie, you can't ask her that', Oscar interrupts her.

'Of course, you can ask me whatever you want', I say, visibly confused.

'My favorite F1 driver turns out to be your best friend, Oscar here is too scared to ask her for an autograph but maybe you can take me?', she asks smiling.

'I'm not scared, we actually get along...', he turns to me. 'Have you noticed how she said 'favorite F1-driver'... that should be me, Hat'.

I laugh. 'Maeve would love meeting you, she already knows so much about you because of me. Why don't we head down there right now?'.

Hattie nods, filled with happiness.

'Sweetheart', I hear

I turn around, oh yeah, I forgot.

'Hello, dear', I walk towards Lando, who welcomes me with open arms. 'Congratulations on your starting position, you did great'.

He kisses me. 'Thank you, now go and make Hattie happy'.
