I am forever grateful, and can only hope this is living up to your expectations! Lastly, 20 followers away from 900? Damn. Still debating on whether or not to make this into 2 books, but maybe it'll just be a longer story. Which do you prefer?
Anyway, back to the real reason you're here lol. Bit of a longer chapter, so hope you enjoy x
Before you sit in the main room, you lightly slap Tony on the back of the head as you walk past.
"Hey! What did I do now?" Tony rubs where you hit him, as if it actually hurt.
You grab a cup and plate, "You gave the most detailed directions to a bathroom."
He takes a sip of his coffee, "Ah, so you've met Peter!"
"Yes. And he seems really sweet. So DON'T corrupt him!" you make sure to add.
"Me?" Tony puts his hand to his heart. "I am extremely offended! I do NO such thing to anyone. I like to fly under the radar."
That earns a few laughs from those around, "Please! Even...." you think for a second. "Submarines probably get notifications from you!"
"Only those that use Stark products," Tony points out, taking another mouthful.
"Good lord! Next will be worldwide breaking news of what food you eat!" you roll your eyes.
Mid-chew, Tony looks up, "Actually, FRIDAY usually takes photos and posts them online...."
"Oh. My. God," you laugh and shake your head as you stick your fork into another bite.
"Now, how did I become part of this conversation?" Loki pulls out the chair next to you.
"Just because someone mentions the word 'God', doesn't always mean you, Pompous," Tony glares at Loki.
"Really? You of all people are going to call someone else pompous?" you raise your eyebrows, looking across the table at your brother.
Tony squints, "Since when do you defend Reindeer Games? You can't stand each other."
"Yes. Do tell us," Nat says with a huge grin, finishing up her meal as well.
Your chewing stops, and you're about to respond, when Peter comes back in, "SPARKER!" You quickly stand from your chair and walk over to the boy, "Great news! My DEAR brother has decided to give you the ENTIRE tour of the tower after dinner!"
Peter had stopped walking next to an empty chair by Steve, "Wow! Thank you, Mr. Stark!"
Tony sends you a look, before softening again to look back at Peter, "Just...call your aunt, kid, and tell her you'll be late. I'll have Happy drop you off later."
The conversation continues amongst everyone at the table for nearly another hour. This is what you like about living in the tower. On occasion, everything can feel normal, like you don't live with a team of superheroes. Family.
"Shocking to no one, we will be hosting a party tomorrow night at the club downtown, in honor of Parker joining the team," Tony announces before everyone disperses for the evening.
"Tony, you do realize that Peter's not even 18, let alone 21, right?" Steve reminds Tony as he walks by.
"So we get the kid a box of Capri Sun juice boxes," Tony shrugs. "Problem solved."
"There doesn't need to be a party, Mr. Stark. I'm just happy to be he..." Peter starts, but Happy comes and pats him on the shoulder.
"It's an excuse for Tony to have a party. There's no talking him out of it," Happy starts to lead him to the elevator. "Come on. I'll take you home."
"And if any of you want to bring a plus one, feel free," Tony spins on his heel to you. "Y/N, should I set you up with someone? Blind date?"
"What? No!" you shake your head. You've been ignoring most of what Tony was saying, but your ears definitely perked up to your name and the word 'date' being used in the same sentence.
"You have someone to bring?" Tony asks as he walks backwards to the staircase leading to his lab.
You lick the space between your lips, "Yes?...Possibly? I will uh...ask them."
"Give me a name. I'll run a background check on them," Tony pulls out his tablet.
"No need!" You start to back away as well, towards the hallway leading back to your room. "They're....cool. Don't worry. Goodnight!" You call out and turn before Tony can say or ask anything else.
The second you close your door, two arms wrap around you from behind, "Do I get to know who your plus one is?"
You hear the sound of Loki's voice, and feel his head nuzzle into your neck, "Maybe. I'll consider it."
"Describe them to me then," Loki starts trailing kisses from your ear to your shoulder.
Shit. "If you want me to, you'll have to st...stop that. That's....rather distracting," your hand goes to Loki's head, as you bite your lip, trying to fight goosebumps from forming.
Loki laughs against your skin, which you've decided is one of the best feelings in the world, "Darling, you do realize that you are holding me in place, yes?"
"Yes. Yes I do," you tilt your head ever so slightly, allowing Loki more access.
"Well, I have zero intentions of stopping, so do describe your plus one," Loki's lips reattach after his sentence.
You sigh, "They're...quite tall."
Loki hums as you take a breath to continue, "...uhm, longer hair."
Loki switches to the other side of your neck, which causes you to be silent for a few seconds, "Go on."
"And...k-known as a God," you manage to say.
"And when is it that you plan on asking them to said party?" Loki's now at your other shoulder.
You smirk, knowing exactly how to push Loki's buttons with this, "Not sure. Do you think Thor is busy right now?"
And just like you thought, that stops Loki's movements instantly, "I beg your pardon?"
"To ask him about tomorrow," Loki can't see your face, which only makes your smirk larger.
Now Loki spins you around to face him, "I swear on the real..." He stops when he sees your facial expression, "You are being funny?"
You shrug but still smile.
Loki once again tosses you onto the bed, practically crawling his way up to you, "I despise you."
You hold his head just above your lips, "Prove it."
A new grin spreads across Loki's face, before leaning down the rest of the way to you, crashing his lips on yours.
That grin is all you can picture, and now Loki's hand is molding its way into your hair, "Loki..." you say against his lips, breathlessly.
Loki however, says nothing and just connects to that spot on your neck once more.
"About that..." your throat is a lot drier than you were expecting. "Raincheck."
Again, no response from Loki as he was too focused to really hear you, "Hm?"
This time you take Loki's head in your hands, to bring it from your neck and back to your face, "The raincheck." You give Loki a peck, before sliding out from under him to lock the door.
When you turn back around, Loki is now sitting on the edge of your bed, facing the door and you.
Then your eyes widen, realizing what you've just done, "Shit! Sorry, you...you CAN go." You slowly start walking back to Loki, "I...made an assumption, and if you don't want to..."
Loki takes your hand and pulls you right against the bed and him, "I would have locked the door with my magic had you just told me."
You heart skips a little, but you clear your throat to suppress it, "Well then..." You move your hands to Loki's shirt, and start unbuttoning it from the top, "Good to know for future reference." You slowly bring your eyes from the movement of your hands, back to Loki's gaze.
Loki raises his eyebrows, "Already planning ahead are we, darling?"
The corner of your mouth curls into a grin as you push Loki's shirt off of his shoulders, "Maybe."
Loki repeats his earlier action and flips you onto the bed, "Maybe we should just never leave this room then."
"Some might get suspicious," you start to trace your hands on Loki's chest.
"Then I shall teleport us to our own isolated location, away from any and all people," Loki's breathing changes at your touch.
"Don't tempt me, My Impossible God," your hand stops at his waist.
Loki bites his tongue and leans down to your ear, "Oh, I plan on doing much more than that."
Your toes curl at just that, and then Loki's hand goes under the bottom of your shirt, his thumb lifting the material from the outside.
As his hand moves from one of your hips, very slowly across to your other, the coldness of Loki's hand causes your body to buck against his.
"That's not...is it too cold?" Loki asks with a look of concern on his face, his hand now having stopped, but still in place.
To reassure Loki, you put your hand on his, leading it higher, "There's a movie I would really like to quote right now, but you probably wouldn't get it." You lean-up and kiss just under Loki's chin.
Loki half laughs/groans, "We can watch whatever...film it is later." He lightly pushes you back down.
"Deal," you wrap your leg around Loki's waist, and pull him down against you.
"Gods, Y/N," Loki growls into your ear, now starting to move slowly back and forth.
Your hips move as well, creating some much needed friction, "Less. Clothing." You say as Loki comes back and kisses you, noticing that his body is getting even colder, despite the situation.
Loki's about to magic all of your clothing completely gone, but when he hovers over you, his eyes are now red, along with his skin turning a light blue shade with markings starting to form.
You feel Loki's breathing start to increase, so you trace the lines, trying to calm him, "It's ok, remember? It doesn't hurt me."
"Yes, but let me..." Loki tries to stop the transformation into his Jotun form, but it doesn't work.
"Hey. It's alright, Loki. We ca..." you cup his cheek with your hand.
"It's not alright!" Loki stands in frustration. "This has NEVER been a problem! And now..." He runs a hand through his hair as he paces in front of your bed.
You think back to what Thor and Loki had said, "It's....it's me. Isn't it?"
