"Y/N! Just in time," Tony calls as you enter the main room.

"Whenever there's food, I come," you shrug.

"As do I!" Thor says with a mouthful of food, raising his coffee cup, causing everyone to laugh around the kitchen and living room. "Did you see Loki on your journey here?"

Before you can reply, Loki walks-in, "Do relax, brother. I have arrived. You can continue with your day peacefully."

"Great. Now I will be able to finish my food. Thank you, Reindeer Games," Tony rolls his eyes.

"Pancakes, Y/N? They're blueberry," Steve asks, sizzling coming from the pan.

You shake your head and start the waffle maker instead, "Can't. Allergic to blueberries. They look great though." You plop on the couch next to Nat.

While you eat, Nat takes in your appearance, "New shirt?"

Your chewing stops and you catch a smirk on Loki's face out of the corner of your eye, "Uhm, no. I was...looking through a drawer and found this." You take another fork-full, "Must be over a year old; just never wore it."

"Hm. Why do I have a feeling that green will become a more common color for you?" you don't even need to look at Nat to know she has a grin on her face.

You clear your throat, "...No idea what you're talking about."

About 20 minutes later, you're chatting with Nat when you hear Thor, "Loki! We have bargained for your freedom! Well, for tonight at least."

"What are you going on about?" Loki questions with zero interest.

"Thor tells us you were...quite the player in Asgard," Sam remarks.

Seeing Loki's confusion, Thor clarifies, "They tell me that term means 'one who has their fun with others'."

That causes Loki to shift in his seat, "Right. Well, yes. I suppose one could...phrase my time as such."

"Then have your fun tonight, Mischief. Indulge in your...hobby here," Tony waves one of his arms.

Pepper smacks him over the head as she walks by.

You pretend to not hear any of this, but Loki's seen your facial expression change.

"Come on, Loki! What is the longest you indulged with one on Asgard? A week at best if I recall correctly, before moving on," Thor laughs.

That hits you the most. You were becoming attached to Loki. Very quickly. Probably like many on Asgard.

Thor continues, "You should have been there! Loki had many admirers. He would be upfront about his intentions, never courting, just having his fun."

Loki now completely glances to you, "Thor, enough."

"How did you refer to them, Loki?" Thor thinks for a moment. "Ah, right!" He pats him on the shoulder, "Loki, would call them 'cravings'."

That word causes you to laugh, bringing the attention in the room now to you.

"Do share with the group, Y/N," Tony raises his eyebrows.

You shake your head and then make direct eye contact once more with Loki, "Nothing. Just how this talk of...'cravings', has now caused me to lose mine towards eating." You stand and walk to the kitchen, disposing of your plate, "Excuse me."

You return to your room, and sit by your window, before feeling someone standing at your door.

"Maybe WE should go out for...cravings tonight," Nat's voice comes from the doorframe.

You keep your eyes on the skyline.

Nat takes a few steps inside, "Or maybe only a certain...God? can help your cravings?"

Now you whip around, "...what?"

"Spy, remember?" she sits on your bed with a grin.

You pretend to not be affected by Nat's words, "Well, you're wrong this time, I..."

"The men out there? They're oblivious," Nat now speaks seriously.

You press your tongue to the roof of your mouth.

"Pepper and I...we kind of saw this coming," Nat pauses. "Since before the mission you and Loki went on."

You nearly spit out your water and then remember, "...the green dress..."

Nat's grin returns, "Call it a hunch. Early intuition." She winks, "I take it that Loki liked it?"

You look down, "Enough for me to be another one of his cravings."

Nat stands and walks over to you, "Hey. If Loki really only sees you as a...plaything, I will gladly torture him myself."

The corner of your mouth lifts into a smile at Nat's protection.

Nat heads back to your door, "But, the way you both look at each other..." She runs her tongue across her top teeth, "I guess I can see it before either of you do."

Nat walks out, leaving you speechless.
