Chapter 11

TUTOR

"And that's the research presentation from our group. Thank you for listening."

James does the closing as we are done presenting the topic that we choose for our project.

"Very nice, I like the presentation. Keep up. Everyone gives them a round of applause."

Our professor said, everyone clapped and we thanked them before going back to our seats.

"So, we are done with the half phase of the project I'll be giving you 3 more weeks to finish the other half and after that we can tell whose work will be topped and receive a perfect mark on my class. So, yeah everyone that's all for today. See you at the finals."

The professor added as he left the room. Everyone starts to stand and leave while the four of us stay in our seats and look like the two beside me and Yim looks so tired.

"Are you two okay? You look exhausted"

Yim asked them with a worried look.

"I've been so caught up on my work schedule. I even have commercials to shoot. I'm so tired, then now we need to finish this for 3 weeks. Is that possible?"

Nunew whines. Yim just patted his shoulder then I look at James and asked,

"And you? Still having a hardtime?"

James spoke,

"Very hard, I still need to fill my trainees schedules for almost 2 weeks and worst I don't have a choice."

I just nod hearing his answer. I understand him well. He wants to do this, so I support him.

"Then I'll work on the rest of the project. You two can do what part you want and think you can do."

Yim said. We look at him and he giving us his convincing look. Then James spoke again,

"No, You and Tutor already do the large parts. It's time for us to do the half."

"It's fine. I don't have anything to do after I'm done with my duty in the library. So I still have a lot of free time to do that. Don't worry."

"Me neither, I don't have anything to do. So I can help Yim. Actually I can just do some parts while waiting for his duty to end. Just like before."

I said. And James and Nunew immediately sit straight and give us a suspicious look.

What the hell is wrong with these two?

"Wait, since when did you two again become friends? I mean, we are all friends but since when do you two tag along well?"

James said, and Nunew continues to speak.

"Yeah, I thought you both will kill each other whenever you're together."

"What the hell is wrong with you two? We are already cool. Can't we have some peace?"

I said both of them just nod as if they believe in my statement.

"Ah ah ah~ stop already. We could do what part we want and we can."

Yim said and all of us nod in agreement.

"Oh! I have an idea."

James said. We look at him and wait for him to continue.

"Why not we work on the cafe I am working with sometime. So it's kinda convenient for us too."

"Right, we were shooting something near James' cafe. We work there."

Nunu said and I just nod.

"Yeah, it's good too. Yim has been working a lot of time inside the library. It's time for you to leave your cave."

I said to tease him, he just looked at me and slapped my left arm. The two beside us just look at us very suspicious. Then New speak,

"I think there's really something we didn't know."

"Crazy! You're thinking so much. Let's go now before we get late to our next class."

Yim said and Nunew didn't stop teasing him. Yim's cheeks blushed and I think it's cute. Both of them look so adorable, no wonder they are friends. If I'm not aware they are friends, I probably think they are siblings or mostly twins.

We were about to leave the building to go to our next classes when we saw a not so small guy standing near the exit and when the guy noticed that we were coming his way he immediately smiled and waved his hand.

James and I looked at each other, confused about who this guy was waving onto when the two guys behind us shouted.

"NAT!"

Both of them rushed to go after him and they hugged each other. I think this is their other friend that they are talking about. We stopped in front of them as Nunew waved at us to join them in a circle.

"So guys this is Nat, and Nat, this is Tutor and James. They are our project mates and also a good friend of ours too."

We said hello to each other and talked about little things since we only have little time and we need to separate our ways. The three of them waved goodbye and started walking towards the building they have classes while James and I walked to the opposite side.

I noticed James kept on glancing at the direction of those three and also I noticed him that he kept on looking at Nat from the moment we met him earlier. Don't tell me...

"Hey, James! You keep on looking at Nat. Don't tell me you liked him?"

"Crazy! Of course not. I just found him very familiar."

"Familiar? What do you mean? This is the first time we met him. Don't tell me he is one of your hook ups"

"Do you want me to knock your soul on that wall? So you will stop making nonsense things? I know this is the first time we met him and FYI I don't do hook ups, you bastard!"

I let out a hard laugh and He only slapped my arms with his heavy hands. I think all my bones are broken. And yeah, It's impossible for James to have hook ups. His last relationship was when we were in 8th grade and after the girl was just digging money from him and he broke up with her, he never dated anyone anymore.

"Then, what's with Nat?"

"I don't know. Seems like I have seen him somewhere before. His face really look so familiar to me."

"Maybe you just saw him elsewhere, since we are in the same university."

"Hmm. Maybe, you're right."

"Hmm yeah. Just forget it."

"Anyway what's with you and Yim? Thought you hate him? Is there anything you want to explain to your dearest bestfriend? Huh? Mr. Tutor? Hmm?"

"What? Nothing. Are you crazy? We are just friends. What are you talking about."

"Dude, don't you dare lie to me. I know you well."

"Jamessu! I'm serious"

"I know. You're just kinda suspicious with your looks to him. Never seen you like this before."

James said and gave me his suspicious look in his eyes.

"Well, I just found him cute and adorable when he is shy. That's what I thought about New too. And also when we met Nat earlier. No wonder they are friends."

"Hmm, so fast to change the topic huh? Anyway, I also noticed it. They look like triplets"

James laughed and I also thought about it. We just shake our heads and start heading to our next class before we come late.

NAT

"What's wrong Nat?"

I came back to my senses when Nunew threw the pillow he was holding since earlier at me. I was sitting on the floor, holding a book and seemed looking nowhere. I look at him who is sitting on the bed while Yim is getting something from the fridge.

"W-what?"

"You seemed so space out since earlier in class. What's wrong?" Nunew asked, I shook my head and replied,

"N-nothing."

"Something came up at home?" Yim asked.

"Yeah, probably something came up that's why you're not in yourself today. Don't you lie to us. We know you." Nunew added. Both of them give me their interrogating eyes but still a worried look.

They knew me so well. They really know there's something off of me today. They can tell by just my actions and even if I try to deny it they will notice it eventually.

"Actually there is."

"We know. Now spill it before I lose my patience." Nunew said and the both of them pulled me to the bed to sit and wait for me to tell it.

"This morning, when I was about to leave the house. Someone called."

"Who was it?" Yim asked.

"It was m- my-"

"Come on Nat, who?" Nunew said.

"It was my-"

I look at both of them and my sight becomes blurred. Little tear drops streaming down on the side of my cheeks and the two people in front of me become more worried and they hold both sides of my cheeks and that's the moment my tears didn't stop from falling hard.

I feel my chest has become so heavy and they rushed to pull me closer to them and gave me their tightest hugs that warmed me and made my eyes tear up more.

"It's okay Nat. It's okay." Yim said, comforting me.

"Everything will be alright, calm down." Nunew said, using his soft voice.

Their hugs make me more emotional and I find comfort in their arms. But the pain will always hurt me more whenever I remember the past about that certain person. This changed the rest of my life and I don't think it will be fixed again just like before.

I know Yim and Nunew still waiting for the confirmation of the name of the person but I also know they don't want me to tell it now and I also know they already know who it was that can make my whole world dropped by just remembering who he is. I replied as I sobbed in between each word and burst out crying again.

"It's- it was m-my d-dad."

A/N: Hi! Sorry for not updating for weeks. I got busy with my work and a lot just happened to the boys. Zee and Tutor's birthday concerts made me more busy on twitter and I'm too excited to see that Cutie Pie's special ep has already started filming. I'm also so excited about Bedfriend series so my free time caught up by just spamming on twitter and seeing the spoiler photos and clips. Anyway, this is just a single update I'll try to do more later after my interview for a team project and will try to update this weekend or tomorrow if I find some time.
