«17» ALL THAT ENDS TOO WELL

"WHAT THE HELL just happened..." Inomi cursed under her breath, landing in a pile of rubble as the Otsutsuki went berserk.

Chaos was already happening. Momoshiki was throwing all of the Kages like rag dolls, they were too weak to fight his level.

Inomi protected Boruto beside her and jumped on a higher distance, as she saw Sasuke and Naruto standing Infront of the Otsutsuki.

"Dad?..."

"We have to stay out of this fight." The Yamanaka instructed him which made him gulped. Who knows, he took all of the Kages down at once.

Inomi glared at his pale looking figure and activated her Tenseigan, she saw all of his chakra points, completely gone. Except his whole body was glowing. She bit her lip in realization.

You have to take him down ... All at once Sasuke Sensei. One wrong move and it's all over.

The Uchiha heard her thoughts and stared at her without turning his head. He was shock to see her Tenseigan completely activated, unexpected now that Toneri was gone.

"I see..." Naruto started, the Uchiha returned to glaring at the Otsutsuki who was intensively staring at both of them. "So you're a completely different beast than you were a long moment ago."

"Or, rather you're just a monster." The Uzumaki continued.

Momoshiki scoffed and glared at him. "Oh come one, as if you're not?"

.....

Without a sweat, Momoshiki began to throw punches towards Naruto which he easily dodged. He growled in anger and kicked the blonde as far as he could.

The Uzumaki rolled on the ground harshly causing a loud explosion. The Yamanaka winced and clenched her fists. "What do I do... What do I do..."

Just as Naruto was still flying, the Otsutsuki flickered from his back and attempted to punch him again.

Fortunately, a Yellow radiation started to glow around Naruto and managed to block his attack. Naruto caught his fist on time which made him silently gasped.

PUNCH

The Uzumaki successfully handed a hard punch at his face, he threw a kick which made his Situation even worse.

Momoshiki was rolling in pain after getting kicked by the Hokage himself.

Sasuke immediately flickered behind him, activating his Sharingan and Chidori.

He slammed his Chidori at Momoshiki's back. The Otsutsuki landed with his hand and gritted his teeth in anger.

Yet again, Momoshiki slammed his hand to the ground as he summoned 3 Large snake-looking creatures. "Inukai Takeruno Mikoto!"

As it charged towards Sasuke, he began cutting them up to shreds. Unfortunately, one serpent caught The Uchiha in it's jaw as he grunted in frustration.

"Sasuke-San!" Inomi and Boruto yelled in sync, but sighed in relief as a big hand interrupted Momoshiki's attack.

Turns out it was Naruto in his Kurama form. The Yamanaka gulped nervously while holding Boruto tight in her arms. "When would this end..."

After a long Battle, Momoshiki was laying down on the ground, defeating as if Naruto and Sasuke clashed together to end him.

Well, they technically did. The duo just stood there, staring at the Momoshiki's limp body.

"Amazing..." Boruto blurted out, looking at the area with an amused look. Inomi rubbed her head, summing up the events that just happened. "I didn't know that the Susanoo and Kurama can form together as one, until now."

All the Kages including Sasuke gathered around the area, limping and seeing the relief on their faces. Momoshiki wasn't going to be a problem, now that he's temporarily defeated.

"Hey they're over here! hurry up!" A voice echoed from the distance. Everyone turned to the unfamiliar voice, seeing teh Annoying Scientist that somehow looks like a Shinobi.

"All right! We made it in time!" Katasuke declared as he cockily smirked and placed his hand on his hip.

"What's the freak doing here?.." Inomi mumbled, Boruto shrugged in confusion. "Did they... Snuck in our Portal?" Inomi angrily thought as she crushed a stone on her hand.

"I know you're still breathing!" The Scientist said, raising his hand and activated some sort of device. Inomi widened her eyes as she saw what was on his wrist. "It's that tool again..."

"Wait no! Stop him!" She screamed at Naruto, he turned to her with horrid eyes and looked at Katasuke.

"No Fool! DON'T!"

"TAKE THIS!" He yelled as he released .. every single jutsu from the Tool. Inomi internally melted as she watched the scene become a disaster..

Momoshiki smirked and raised his palm, absorbing the Chakra coming from the Jutsus.

"Sheesh.."

"Now you've done it, you idiot!"

Momoshiki chuckled and stood up from the ground. "I'm truly grateful, to you fools." He stated, referring to the "Hero wannabe" behind the Kages.

He faced his palm towards them and shoot a Big Shadow Jutsu, trapping them all in a circle.

He smirked and sent another attack, metal shards flew towards Naruto's body, piercing him dead as he groaned.

"I'm putting extra effort for you." He added and smirking at the Uzumaki.

He turned to the Yamanaka who was holding the Uzumaki. He then send metal shards to Boruto.

Inomi widened her eyes and immediately covered Boruto, the poles going through her body as she grunted in pain. "Deserves you right for protecting a dissapointment of the Fox." He yelled at her, she was too weak to move just like Naruto's state.

"Don't make me forget that you're one of the Otsutsuki's pets, a traitor infact." He laughed, witnessing her body falling to the ground.

"Sensei!...." Boruto yelled, looking at her state with a horrified look.

"Boruto-San... You're lucky that Sasuke brought you here." She smiled, walking up the stairs. He raised his eyebrow in confusion, as he stopped from his tracks. "Huh?"

"We're all here to defeat that Otsutsuki guy and save your father. Just to remind you that.." She turned to him with a determination look, before poking his cheeks. "You have to step in."

"Me? But why?" He asked her again which made her smirk. "Oh nothing, not forcing you though, it's your choice~"

I can't wimp out now!

I gotta trust my teachers who believed In me! Inomi and Sasuke are watching!

He formed a small ball of Wind and gritted his teeth, staring at the Otsutsuki with a serious look.

I gotta do this!

He formed a small Rasengan, intensively staring at the Otsutsuki.

Momoshiki raised his arm again while gritting his teeth, preparing to absorb the Jutsu.

"DIE!"

You need to do it... Boruto. Sasuke thought as he looked from above, furrowing his eyebrows as if his life was depended on the Uzumaki.

Naruto gulped while looking at his son that threw the Rasengan straight at him. Well, he looked rather amazed. "A Rasengan?!"

When the heck did he master?...

"Don't you understand it's useless?!" The Otsutsuki yelled, his eyes settling at the flying orb. But to his surprise...

It vanished. As if a ball of dust was thrown away by a wimpy kid.

Everyone was too stunned to see a Rasengan vanish, for the first time ever since the 4th Hokage's legacy.

Inomi wasn't too surprised about, sitting up from the ground she crashed on. Slowly removing the shards from her shoulder.

"Patience takes time.. don't expect something bad from my student, Otsutsuki." She muttered with a smirk as Sasuke looked at her in determination. He knew what she meant.

BAM

All of a sudden, Something hard landed on Momoshiki's shoulder, pushing him as he almost trip. He held his shoulders tight from the pain.

His actions were caused to let go of the Paralysis Jutsu he held. Letting go the Kages who sighed in relief.

Sasuke didn't even bother to look at Momoshiki and went straight ahead to Inomi. He carried her gently, making sure he wasn't touching the parts she was stabbed on.

Boruto went down to see his father, together with the others. Naruto knelt down and stared at his son. "Boruto! You..."

He turned to Inomi before smirking. She smiled at Boruto, looking straight at the Otsutsuki as she stick her tongue out.

"Looks like you can't even absorb a jutsu that isn't visible to the naked eye, poor Byakugan." She sarcastically stated, holding her stomach tight.

Sasuke furrowed his eyebrows, helping her take away the metal poles from her body. He was quite gentle and it didn't hurt when he was removing them.

"You can still heal yourself, right?" He asked her as she nodded in approval. "I'll manage--" She coughed a little before giving him a small smile.

Sasuke placed his fingers on her forehead, and looked at Naruto as he probably knew what he wanted to ask.

"I told him that I'd only take him as my student, if he mastered the Rasengan... And managed to do it a few times."

"But the Rasengan was small and imperfect, it vanished right after he released it. At first I thought it was a failure but, it wasn't."

"Inomi arrived in time to see the Rasengan past her body, and it proved that it was complete. He unconsciously transformed it's chakra nature.. creating a new Jutsu." He took a big breathe, nudging Inomi to talk.

"It's a Vanishing Rasengan." She Hastily finished his explanation. Naruto chuckled, looking at Boruto in disbelief.

"You cheeky brat!"

"I didn't even know how I did it and I can only create these vanishing things so far!" He exclaimed while scratching his head in embarrassment.

"Didn't knew that your unbelievable plan would work, Sasuke-San." She laughed and turned to Boruto. "Great Job, I loved how you improved Boruto."

He turned pink after she heard what she said. It was nice to see her compliment him alot, ever since she left the Academy for work.

"DON'T CELEBRATE YOU FOOLS!" The Otsutsuki spat out angrily, standing up from the platform. "You've only delayed your deaths..."

He took out something from his palm and ate it hungrily with a smirk.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

"Boruto! Do It again!" Naruto ordered him. The Small Uzumaki turned to him in confusion.

"Make a Rasengan!" He elaborated his sentence more which made him shook. Boruto frowned and protested. "But dad, mine's not enough to--"

"Just do it!" He exclaimed, this time with a smile on his face. Boruto gulped and started to form a small Rasengan ball.

Naruto began to support his Creation by placing his hands on his Son. The Rasengan in each second was growing bigger.... And bigger.... And bigger... And bigger.

Inomi laughed and stared at them in awe. "Ah memories.. I've never seen once in a while."

"And I didn't knew you took him as a student for a small Rasengan." She playfully pouted as Sasuke scoffed and turned to the opposite direction. "I remembered taking you as a student when you master your Clan's Kekkai Genkai and try to Cast a jutsu on me. And you did."

"Glad you remembered." She smiled before taking a small seal from her bag. Placing it immediately on Boruto and Sasuke's back.

The Uzumaki turned to him in confusion, while absorbing the big Rasengan in his hands.

"I thought I don't need to say this but, we've only got one chance. Let's go." Sasuke stated as he took his Katana out.

Inomi smirked before separating into two parts, sealing herself with the papers behind Boruto and Sasuke.

"Don't mind Her, you'll know what she'll do." Sasuke added, noticing the Uzumaki's confusion.

"Yessir!"

"Inomi, you know what to do."

"Mhm.."

The Uchiha began to throw his Katana on the Otsutsuki's back. A large mint spirit appeared from behind and froze Momoshiki's body just as Sasuke teleported.

He failed to stab the Kunai at him, as Momoshiki sent him crashing on the wood while trapping him with metal shards.

He angrily waved his hand on the spirit who simply dissipated from the scene.

"Your moves are transparent fool!" He yelled at Sasuke and scoffed at the thought of the Creature.

Just then, a sword floating from the air turned to Boruto who prepared a small Rasengan once again, throwing it towards the Otsutsuki's Torso.

Momoshiki managed to choke him after a short session of fighting. "So the black Cape was a decoy huh?! Well too bad!" He taunted him, choking him harder.

He felt hands on his arms who wrapped him tight on a mint coat. He looked at it with widened eyes, seeing two female bodies sealing him with their own transparent bodies.

Poof!

So this one's a decoy too?!

"You should've think further, Momoshiki." The two ladies said as his World turned dark. He widened his eyes once again to see Inomi standing there while waving at him. "What is this you brat?!"

She laughed and obliviously raised her eyebrow. "Hm? I didn't know I could get you with my Genjutsu, Otsutsuki-San."

"A Genjutsu?! You'll regret this you fool!" He yelled out, still stuck on the seal. Inomi smiled before pointing at him mockingly.

"This is my payment for executing my host, enjoy your life in the next 2000 years." She giggled. "You disgrace!"

Her own delusion dissapeared as a bright light greeted him coming from the Rasengan.

"RASENGAN!!!"

"Ha...Hah..." Inomi breathe shakily, kneeling down on the ground and she held her chest. She looked at the Big Hole that completely destroyed the Tree.

"Boruto did it!..." She cheered quietly, smiling in victory. Sasuke snirked and carried her near his side. "You're being reckless again, Yamanaka."

"I know and I don't mind."

He looked at Boruto, observing his figure before recalling a memory. "Even if times changed;"

"The Soul of a Shinobi remains the same." Sasuke and Inomi said in sync before chuckling at each other.

"You remind me of Naruto, Boruto." He stated as the Yamanaka laughed in exhaustion. "I could say the same."

"Hm, I almost forgot about your mission at the past. Mind if you tell it to me later?" The Uchiha asked her as she blinked in confusion.

".... The mission where you saw what He was doing in the past." He mumbled. Inomi nodded before grinning. "Of course! You have the right to know about it!"

"Heh, you're still my student alright.." He chuckled and patted her head. She pouted childishly before crossing her arms. "And you said Boruto was your number one student!"

She looked at Boruto who was scratching his head while laughing.

You've grown.. Boruto-San.

"Boruto! You burnt your arm!" She called out and wobbly jumped towards his aid.

Sasuke watched her carefully, sighing as he looked at a small charm on his Katana, a rock charm made by the Yamanaka herself. "In this generation, you still hold something precious inside my heart Yamanaka."

He held the Charm gently, feeling the warm energy coming from the object. "I wouldn't let go of something memorable."
