Chapter fourteen

"Hey!" Someone yells slamming my table, I lift my head slowly and squint my eyes, seeing On-Jo standing over my desk

She isn't even in my class, why is she here?

"Yeah?" I mutter raspy, as she has just woken me up

"Get up!" She demands

"Huh?" I question, not really understanding what's going on, as I am half asleep

"I said get up!" She repeats and grips my hair, pulling my head back, I whimper in pain as my hand reaches around to try pry her grip off my hair

I push my hair back and stand up, her hand still tangled with my hair

"What are you doing?" I ask looking around noticing that no one else is in the room, I must've slept through the bell for lunch

"You went on a date with Ni-Ki?" She questions pulling me head closer to her chest

"What are you talking about?" I ask as she finally lets go of my hair, she pulls out her phone and shows me a picture

Of me and Ni-Ki, snuggling on Jiwons couch

"Who sent you that?" I ask confused

"Doesn't matter" She sets her phone down and kicks my leg, making me almost stumble to the ground but I grab the table to keep myself up

I hear someone walk into the room, I turn back to see Heeseung staring at us, with Jungwon, Jungwon tries to engage but Heeseung stops him

Is he trying to test me right now?

"Did Heeseung send you that?" I finally realise as I turn back to On-Jo

"I said it doesn't fucking matter!" She slaps me, I hold my cheek in pain as my eyes meet hers again

"Listen here—" She gets interrupted by another voice

"What's going on?" I turn to see Ni-Ki has now entered the room, Heeseung trying to stop him but he just ignores him

"Nothing, we are just talking" On-Jo's voice suddenly changes from deep, confident and angry to sweet and quirky

"It doesn't look like it" He points out crossing his arms

"We're fine, aren't we Haerin?" Her high pitched voice fills my eyes as she gives me a look that says 'say yes or you're dead'

I hesitantly nod and fake a smile, I hear Heeseung snicker from the back of the room

"Well I actually need to talk to Haerin, it's important" Ni-Ki suddenly grabs my hand and pulls me towards him gently

"Oh but we were talking first?" On-Jo grabs my other arm and yanks me towards her harshly

"It'll only take a minute" Ni-Ki pulls me towards him again and I hear Heeseungs laugh filling the almost empty room

"She's all yours after that" He adds before dragging me out of the room, I stare at Heeseung as he mutters something under his breath, but loud enough for me to hear as I pass him

"You're so pathetic"

Ni-Ki stops outside the classroom and lets me go

"Are you good?" He asks, seeming genuinely concerned

"I'm good" I lie, nodding at the boy in front of me

"Well I did just watch her slap you" He admits

"I'm okay Ni-Ki" I lie once again

"Can we talk?" I add on

"Yeah" He breaths out shakily, and clearly nervously

"There's nothing between me and Heeseung..." I begin

"That day in the bathroom, he was just telling me to do his homework and I wasn't having it" Another lie

"But you're the first guy I have been interested in, and the first guy who has ever been interested in me, I like you, and—" He cuts me off but not by words this time

He reaches up and tucks my hair behind my ear, cupping my cheek, making shivers run down my back from the sudden cold but soothing sensation before pulling me in and gently pressing his soft and plump lips onto mine

He pulls away slowly, with a smile, my cheeks heat up immediately as I stand there stunned

"Was that your first kiss?" He questions, noticing my reaction

"Mhm" I nervously hum out, as I can feel his thumb doing circles on my cheek, it's distracting me from his words, it's gonna make me go crazy

"Wanna try it again sometime?"

"Mhm" I repeat not knowing what to say and he just chuckles, noticing I'm so very nervous right now

"I'll see you around, Haerin" His hand falls from my cheek and I feel disappointment running through my veins as his cold touch disappears

He walks into the classroom and I watch as On-Jo storms out and walks towards me

"This isn't over, bitch, I'm gonna ruin your life" She pushes me as she walks past

But I don't care about her or her threat

NI-KI JUST FUCKING KISSED ME!

I spot Jiwon and I immediately sprint up to her

"Hey, you're up, I grabbed you—" I interrupt her with a scream

"HE KISSED ME!"

"What? Who kissed you?!" She exclaims intrigued

"NI-KI!"

"If you keep on screaming he's gonna hear you" She laughs staring at the open door of our classroom, I turn to look and I see Ni-Ki's eyes glued onto me

But Heeseung's are also glued onto me, a glint of jealousy shining in his eyes as his jaw clenches

This chapter is shorter than all my others but I didn't want to drag it on and have it be bad at the end

NIKI AND HAERIN FIRST KISS?

Will it be the last though??
