Btw i really thought i posted this 2 days ago but it turns out i didn't. I'm such an idiot lol forgive me pls..

"His vitals have stabilised. Don't worry, he will wake up in a few hours." The doctor said. He gathered his things, bowed, and left.

Jennette questioned the two conscious siblings about what they've been through. They were in one of the guests rooms, wrapped in blankets with a mug of hot chocolate in their hands. Jennette made sure they cleaned themselves up first so that they calm down and be more comfortable.

It was during this time that Marquis Iraine burst through the door. His whole family trailed behind him. He apologized to the princess first and went in.

Jennette let the family have a small reunion first as she scooted to the side quietly.

"Did you get hurt anywhere? Why are there only the three of you? W-what happened to your mother??" Marquis Iraine asked."Michael, let them answer each one." His wife said.

"Mother and grandmother, they stayed behind. We're not sure where father is, but he is most likely evacuating the townsfolk and village people." James answered."Helena...stayed at the Halsey residence?" Marquis Iraine asked in a hoarse voice and watery eyes. His nephew nodded. "Oh god...please be safe, sister."

Meanwhile, Seraphina looked around. "Where's Vincent?" She asked. Her eyes went wide when she saw her cousin's reactions.

Charlotte gripped the sides of her borrowed dress tightly. "Vinny was taken by the former emperor. He tried to buy us some time to escape. He..he wouldn't come with me when I beg him to. Vinny is still in danger...." She burst into tears somewhere in the middle of speaking. Seraphina and Marchioness Iraine immediately hugged her.

"It's alright dear. Shush.." Charlotte was comforted by her aunt.

"Excuse me. We are sending an army to the Halsey estate. In fact, they are on their way right now. I promise you, I will do everything in my power to save your brother." Jennette sat beside Charlie.

"Hic...T-thank you Your Highness..." Charlotte said.

Arius walked in through the opened doors in full formal attire. "All preparations are complete. We are ready for the emergency announcement. Oriella and Prince Ijekiel are still waiting for you, Princess Jennette."

"Thank you Arius. We need to go now. Marquis, you are free to stay here as long as you like. Please excuse me." Jennete slightly curtsied.

The marquis family returned with a bow. Arius and Jennette hurried to the meeting hall to broadcast the announcement using magic.

"Dear citizens of Obelia! The empire has faced a new challenge in its history. The former emperor, Anastacius de Alger Obelia, has start a rebellion. I know it is hard to believe, but it is the truth, he is still alive! Fear not, for I am confident that we will stand strong as one given our previous achievements. Thus, The Royal Family has decided to declare a state of emergency. Nobody is allowed to step out of their house without special permission. Every citizen and foreigners will be checked to confirm their identity. All rules will be effective immediately. Please refer to your local town council for further information.

I, Princess Jennette de Alger Obelia, will do my best to protect this empire. Long Live Obelia!"

That was the end of the announcement. Jennette made a great speech, learning from her past mistakes. She left first with Ijekiel following her, quietly giving comfort and support

It was close to midnight as Arius walked to a quieter part of the palace hastily. There was a guest room that was seldom used, even the maids rarely do their work there. Perfect for a secret meeting. Arius still gave an order not to let anyone near just in case. He breathed a sigh of relief to see the redhead girl who occupied his heart.

"Hey. I came here as soon as I got your message." She said. Arius sat beside her on the sofa."Sorry. Did you wait long?" He asked. She shook her head. "How's your cousins?""Carlos has woken up. Charlie was crying a waterfall, with James too. I decided to give them some space. Then my dad said we should just stay here tonight, given Her Majesty invites us anyway.""That is great to hear. It's nice for a family to finally reunite." He closed his eyes.

Seraphina sympathies him. He is always anxious about his family. For some reason, she had a feeling that his family was doing just fine.

In attempt to comfort him, she stroke his head. Seraphina had no idea how to make him feel better. So she turned his head and gave a small peck on the lips. Surprised, Arius stared into her eyes.

He returned a more deeper passionate kiss. Their lips move in sync as he pulled her closer. Sera had her hands around his neck and the next thing she knew, she was on his lap. She pulled away and place a finger on his mouth, saying "That's enough. My family might be looking for me. Especially Charlie. See you next time, Arius." She kissed his forehead and left.

Arius covered his eyes with his arm, sighing. "I almost lost control....."

"There's an emergency, Your Highness!" "What's wrong?" Jennette said, alarmed. They were all having breakfast quietly when a servant barged in the dining room. "The emperor... He's awake!""Really? That's great!""There's one more thing, Your Highness. It appears a mysterious girl infiltrated the palace, claiming she cured him.""Huh? What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Jennette exclaimed. Everyone left the table in a hurry.

On the way to Claude's room, they were given a report of the situation. "We tried getting her out, but it turns out she's a powerful wizard. None of our own could get past her. Furthermore, she was a hooded cloak. It made us hard to identify her." The servant said.

When they arrived, they saw a small figure in a cloak beside Claude's bed. He was propped up against the bedframe, too tired to even ask what in the world was going on.

"Who are you? Let us in!" Ijekiel shouted. Indeed, there was a barrier right after the entrance.

Despite all efforts made by the royal magicians, Arius ran inside without a hitch. He unconsciously shoved Ijekiel aside, who was blocking the door.

Everyone else present were dumbfounded not just because Arius went inside, but if what he did next. He engulfed the mysterious magician in a big hug.
