Special Chapter - My Everything
18:16, 22 January 2015Jungkook’s POV
A year after the wedding
“Are you sure you want to be here?” Namjoon hyung asked as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder. “You seem… out of focus.” He smiled and I chuckled.
“Sorry hyung, I know I should be having fun with you guys, but I couldn’t stop thinking about Christine.” I shrugged and he laughed.
“She’ll be okay. It’s normal that you’re worried. After all…” he trailed off, smiling at me when the rest shouted as another goal was scored by the soccer team they were supporting in the National Cup Tournament.
“Yeoboseo? Oh- Tinnie ah?” Yoongi hyung stood up and went to the kitchen to hear her better and I stood up, following him as I worry. “Aigoo. Lend us your husband will ya?! We miss our maknae too!” he said through the receiver, making me smile as I look to the floor.
“Jungkook? He’s right behind me, listening to our conversation. He stood up and followed me the moment I mentioned your name.” Yoongi hyung said with a smirk as now he was facing me, leaning his weight on the counter. I ruffled the back of my head with a smile and went up to him to take the phone.
“Jagiya?” I asked and hearing her voice made me at ease.
“Hey, I told you to enjoy yourself there. Oppa and the rest misses you, you know?” she chuckled and I laughed.
“I couldn’t help it.”
“Aigoo! Go and help yourself, have fun and bond with the rest and you wouldn’t even notice that it’s time to go home!” she said and I chuckled. “Oh by the way, Kai called. They’ll be going home from tour with Jaebum.”
Right. Exo had a collab with Got7.
“Have you heard of Sungmi? When is she coming back from London?” I asked, not wanting to hang up yet, even if I technically come home every day to her.
“Yeah. She’s taking the flight tomorrow, then she’ll visit us with Jaebum and Jongin.”
“Ohh—“
“Yah! Don’t stall me! Go to them already.” She chuckled, and I sighed. Why does she know me inside out?
“Alright, alright. I’ll be home by 5pm okay?” I said with a smile.
“Okay, we’ll be waiting.” My smile grew wider at what she said.
“Okay. Wait for me. I love you both.”
“We love you too.” She answered,
“Jungkookie! Where have you gone again?!?!?” Jimin shouted and Christine must have heard because she started giggling.
“See? They miss you. Go now.” She said and I laughed.
“Alright alright.”
We hung up and I made my way to the living room where the others were but they were standing up and placing on their jackets.
“Where are you going?” I asked.
“What do you mean? You’re coming with us, pabo.” Hoseok hyung said, headlocking me as we made our way out of the house of Jin hyung. We rode in the van with our countless stories about the happenings when we had spent some time apart. Sure, it has been a year, a great year that passed since our wedding and I’m happy that ARMY was supportive about it, although the haters wouldn’t be avoided, they knew my priorities changed. Especially now…
The hyungs were still the same, all playful and immature, but they’re the best of brothers I couldn’t be luckier to have. We made our way to the mall and shopped for things I was truly grateful for. I couldn’t wait to see Christine’s reaction when she sees this.
“Tell Christine that we’ll visit some other time okay?” the rest said to Yoongi hyung and I. They dropped us off to my house and Yoongi hyung dropped by to say hello but the rest had appointments they had to go to, so I let them off. Anyways, they were here to play last week, so I think Christine wouldn’t mind.
“Sure. Take care on your way, hyungs.” I smiled and Yoongi hyung just waved before grabbing the things we bought and making our way to the front door.
After a few knocks and Yoongi hyung complaining about the door not opening, the door complied with what Yoongi hyung was saying and Christine stood with a smile on her face.
“You’re always so impatient pabo.” She chuckled.
“You know better than to make me wait.” He said, grabbing the stuff as he wobbled his way inside, managing 5 bags of the things we bought to the living room.
“Omo!” Christine now took notice of everything in our hands and everywhere else. Yoongi hyung had bought 5 bags with bulging baby supplies while I had my hands full of a stroller and a box for a baby crib while a baby bag was around my neck. I placed everything down in our living room, grunting at the heavy loads we brought and gave a quick peck on her lips before getting on my knees and kissing her bulging belly where our baby was.
“Daddy’s home, baby.” I whispered and I felt Christine’s hands caress my hair before it made its way to cup my cheeks when suddenly she gasped. “What happened?” I asked, but she shook her head with a smile.
“She was just happy you were home.” She answered before smiling up at the things we bought. “You guys, you didn’t have to buy all these.” She said and Yoongi hyung laughed.
“You should have seen how we argued about the colors of the things we bought for baby Hyeonhye.” Yoongi hyung laughed as I stood up and wrapped an arm around Christine, feeling her arm wrapping their way around my waist. “Jimin wanted blue, Jin hyung wanted pink, Hoseok keeps pulling out yellow while Taehyung keeps giving us colors that hurts my eyes.”
“You guys never changed.” She laughed but everything stopped when she started squeezing her palm into fists as she chokes the screams of pain.
“Hyung! Get the car!” I panicked as soon as I saw liquid running down her legs. It didn’t help that she started screaming, clutching her eyes closed as she held onto her stomach. Yoongi hyung ran around the house, tripping over the things we bought before grabbing the keys and helping me bring her to the car. We sat backseat while hyung drived. She laid her head on my lap, squeezing my hand as she cried in pain.
“Just a little more… hold on, jagi.” I said, squeezing back her hand, letting her know everything will be okay. “We’re almost there, just a little bit more.”
Yoongi hyung was driving past the speed limit and as soon as the car parked infront of the emergency entrance, a pile of nurse and an emergency bed came out, seeing the urgency of our situation by the speed of our car.
They carried her up and made her lie on the bed and they started running back inside. I ran beside her and the other nurses, holding her hand while Yoongi had called the others as he parked the car. Christine had tears flowing down the side of her face as she squeezes my hand in pain.
“It hurts!” she cries, making the nurse ran faster than they already were. Soon enough Dr. Jiyoon was running besides us. She’s an all-around doctor, knowing her way through everything, allowing her to help Christine through her pregnancy.
“Take her to the delivery room, now. Stable her oxygen circulation quickly.” She ordered authoritatively before taking my hand as they got in the room.
“Can’t I be with her?” I asked, shaking.
“Are you sure you wanna be in there?” she asked, and I gave her a nod.
“You’re there. I know nothing will go wrong, and I want to be beside her.” I told her and she nodded, giving me a mask and the green surgical dress, entering the room with Christine’s legs spread apart, getting ready to let Hyeonhye into this world. I ran to her side and held her hand.
“What are you doing here?” she asked as she tried to stabilize her breath with the plastic thingy on her mouth. I can’t think straight as I hear the nurses move about, metal hospital tools clicking with eachother as medical terms were exchanged by Dr Jiyoon and the nurses.
“I’m here. I’m here. We’ll get through this together.” I told her, and she gave a weak smile before pain showed across her face.
“It hurts! Jiyoon eomma!” she screamed, startling some nurses but I held onto her hand tight, staying by her said as I stroke her hair with my free hand.
“Okay darling, when I say push… you push as hard as you can okay?” Dr Jiyoon said and Christine nodded. “Alright. Hana… dul.. set! Push!”
She groaned in pain, her hands shaking as she gave it her all. Sweat dripped down her face alongside her tears. She sat up, screaming before lying back down as she pants, taking short, deep breaths.
“It’s okay, one more jagi. One more.” I told her, and she nodded before pushing as hard as she could, some of her veins showing.
“More, Christine. You can do it! I can see her head already! Come on, baby!” Dr Jiyoon said and she took a deep breath before squeezing my hand tight as she screamed, closing her eyes tightly as a few more tears rolled down her eyes.
I noticed her face was turning pale as she takes, short, hard breaths.
“Dr Jiyoon!” I shouted, alarmed.
“You can do this, Christine. Don’t give up on me darling. Do it for your daughter. Do it for Hyeonhye. You can do it.” She kept encouraging her and I saw a faint glimmer of determination on her eyes. She took one deep breath and pushed on more time, screaming louder than before as her hand squeezed tightly on my hand until she fell back down, all exhausted as she loosens her grip on me.

Christine’s POV
The pain was more than what words could ever describe. It hurts as I tried my best to do what Jiyoon eomma said until I felt everything spinning around as I breathed hard, trying to stay awake. I heard Jungkook’s distinct shout.
“You can do this, Christine. Don’t give up on me darling. Do it for your daughter. Do it for Hyeonhye. You can do it.” Jiyoon eomma’s voice echoed among the blurry image of whatever was infront of me and it kept me going. I’d die trying to keep my baby alive.
I took a deep breath before I gathered up all my remaining strength to push as hard as I could, holding onto Jungkook’s hand who squeezed my hand in return, assuring me that he was here and that we could do it. I could do it. I screamed with all that I got, until I felt Jiyoon eomma’s hand taking her out of me, and a second later, a baby’s cry was heard.
I smiled in relieved as my body numbed. I’ve lost a lot of blood, making me feel weak to the bones, but I’m glad that Hyeonhye was alive.
“Jagi…” Jungkook looked at me, brushing off the sweaty hair off my face as he smoothed his hand over it, with a smile and eyes filled with tears. “We’re really parents now.” He said shakily, placing a kiss on my forehead as I closed my eyes and smiled.
“Are you happy?” I asked in a whisper. It’s the loudest I could manage.
“More than ever.” He said, placing his forehead on mine. “I love you. I love you. I love you.” He whispered and I nodded with a smile.
“I love you too..”
“Jungkook ah?” Jiyoon eomma called out and Jungkook left me for a second, my eyes faltering, wanting to close so badly.
“Baby, she’s in my arms…” Jungkook said as if he still couldn’t believe it was true. I wasn’t believing at anything too until Jungkook lowered the fragile being in his arms, holding it tenderly and carefully like a delicate flower, in which she was into my view. My heart melted as soon as she turned her face towards me, her eyes half closed as her palm reached for her face, still having no control of her muscles. Suddenly all the pain subsided and all that filled me were happiness. The happiness of being a mother… the mother of Jungkook’s children.
“My Hyeonhye…” I whispered, reaching out my weak hands to her, placing a soft kiss on the side of her head before everything turned black.

My eyes fluttered open and the first thing I saw was the blinding white light. Jungkook’s head was resting on the top of my hand as he holds it, sleeping with his face towards me and I looked around to see 5 guys, dead on the couch, some snoring, some moving in their sleep, while Oppa was swaying something in his arms. It took me a moment to realize he was holding Hyeonhye with a father-like smile. I smiled until I grunted in pain when I felt something sting underneath me, probably my stitch from the delivery of Hyeonhye and that’s when Jungkook woke up.
“Jagiya? Something wrong?” he asked, worried. Soon enough everyone was around me with oppa holding Hyeonhye in his arms.
“I’m alright. Hey guys.” I smiled and everyone smiled back.
“I’ll be scheduling baby Hyeonhye for a shopping date already.” Jin said,
“No! I’ll play with her first!” Taehyung argued.
“Oh stop it guys. If there’s anyone who knows anything about the baby, it’s me.” Hoseok said and I shook my head.
“Can I hold my baby first before you take her away from me?” I joked and they laughed. I struggled as I tried to sit up when Jungkook and Jimin automatically helped me up while I rest my back on the headboard of my hospital bed. Oppa gave me Hyeonhye and I cradled her in my arms. She was so tiny and fragile yet she was my everything.
I suddenly heard a bunch of camera sounds and I looked up to see all their phones up, taking a picture of me.
“Cut it out! I look like shit right now!” I said and they laughed.
“This is going on twitter, oh my god.” Namjoon said, already typing on his phone. “Proud Godfather here!”
“Aigoo! My niece has her uncle’s looks and charm. Swag.” Yoongi oppa smiled as he took a close up picture of Hyeonhye sleeping peacefully in my arms.
“Aigoo, don’t stress her out hyungs. Calm down.” Jungkook said, scooting beside me as he wrapped his arm around me, cuddling his face close to Hyeonhye’s and showering her with small kisses. My heart melted at the scene infront of me. I’m a mother now, and Jungkook’s the father… and let’s not forget the idiots here who’ll be helping us all the way.
I smiled as tears of happiness made its way to my eyes. Jungkook noticed as he sat properly, wiping the tears from my eyes as his own tears fell down. He sniffed and chuckled.
“I’m a father now. I still can’t believe it.” He said and the guys had their proud, soft smiles at us.
“Well this is interesting. Let’s see how a baby takes care of a baby.” Hoseok teased and the guys laughed, but Jungkook was too happy to be affected. He just smiled and kissed my forehead.
“I promise I’ll be a responsible father and a husband. I swear.” His lips moved against my forehead and I nodded.
“I never doubted you’d do otherwise.” I said, closing my eyes.
“I love you, jagiya.” He said and I smiled. We felt a movement under us and when we both looked down, Hyeonhye was looking at us, kicking her feet.
“Ofcourse, daddy loves you too princess.” Jungkook leaned down, kissing her forehead.
“That’s it. Family picture!” Namjoon shouted and Taehyung and Jimin positioned themselves beside my hospital bed, already smiling when Yoongi oppa took Jimin and Hoseok took Taehyung away.
“Not you guys. Them.” Jin explained and the two frowned, giving Jungkook and I wider smiles, if that was even possible.
“Hana dul set… KIMCHI!” Namjoon said and we placed on our brightest smile. I looked like shit in my hospital gown, but I couldn’t care less. Jungkook had his arm wrapped around me while the other held my arms that were holding Hyeonhye.
After the picture has been taken, a nurse came in and that’s when everyone started throwing their phones at the poor guy, asking him to take a photo of all of us in each of their phones. The nurse was startled and confused, but he complied, never the less, balancing 7 phones within his body, others in between his shoulder and cheeks, the others inbetween his arms and side until he gave up and placed the phone on the table behind him, and taking the picture one by one.
All of our smiles were bright and happy, but I couldn’t deny that Jungkook and I felt happier than words can ever explain. It was something else.
After the nurse took the photo in everyone’s phone, Taehyung and the rest shouted in joy, startling Hyeonhye, making her cry.
“SHUT UP!” Oppa said, scolding the guys while I cradled her in my arms, swaying her slightly.
I chuckled as soon as Hyeonhye closed her eyes as she listened well to her father’s humming when Jungkook took her from my arms. The rest covered their mouths, throwing apologetic gazes at us.
“It’s okay, but since we’re having Hyeonhye, please take care of her too.” I told them and they nodded.
“Ofcourse, we’ll play with her a lot.” Taehyung said, sitting on the side of my bed.
“Ofcourse. It’s normal for kids to play with someone their own age.” I said and Taehyung frowned but the rest choked in their laughter, making Jungkook stop humming for a second, swallowing his own laugh. “Just kidding.” I smiled and Taehyung rubbed the back of his neck.
“I just love kids.” He explained.
“Yeah, to the point where you became one.” Jimin said.
“And you think you’re matured?” Jin teased back and everyone laughed, teasing eachother.
“See Tinnie ah? This… this is what I go through every single time. I mean, I’ve been working on my music and at the same time, babysitting. How stressful is that?” Oppa said and everyone complained besides me who just laughed.
There was no words that could describe how happy I am right now. Looking at everyone’s smiling faces, teasing eachother, oppa going to Jungkook, asking if he could carry Hyeonhye again and Jungkook giving her to him before facing me, placing a hand around my waist. There was no words exchanged, but it was clear that we were happy.
My life begins here as a mother, a wife and I couldn’t be more happier to be spending it with the guys, the three (Jongin, Jaebum and Sungmi), my brother, Hyeonhye and Jungkook.

A/N
Hey guys! Hehe, just decided to add a special chapter. I’ve been inspired since I had my first nephew born! I’m an aunty now~ and I just love babies and the sight of him gave me an idea about a special chapter. :>
I don’t know if I’ll add some few random special chapters to this book for those who ship the characters. Comment in what you think? I was thinking about doing some random chapters, sweet drabbles about the characters. The events may be or maybe not related much to the story, but the characters will be from this book and there will be a time frame written at the start of the chapter so you’d be guided. Hmm, what do you guys think?
Take care guys~~~~
