Part 47

Jungkook's POV

After all the tears that was shed in her tent, we finally decided to sleep. It was 3am on my watch. As I walked slowly to my tent, I tried thinking of reasons for her to say or even think about something I dreaded the most. Breaking up.

Is she having problems? Does she know something I should? Is she fighting something on her own right now? I can't help but worry for her.

I went back and saw her tent not fully zipped so I got the chance to slip in and saw her sleeping with her body crouched. She was clearly cold from the weather.

I bent down and brushed her bangs off her face. Our conversation awhile ago just made me weak to the bones. That conversation made me realize how important she was from me. I thought I'd lose her. Thank God it didn't happen. It won't happen. Hell would freeze if I let it happen.

Hell would freeze if I will be able to do that..

Her words echoed in my head making me feel assured that she won't leave me. It's not that I was still affected but I'll admit. I was hurt and depressed when Yuri suddenly left me. It broke me. But I got through.. I don't think I'll be able to live again if it happens with Christine. No.. I won't.

"Jagi.... Saranghae" I whispered to her ears before planting a kiss on her forehead. I removed my jacket and wrapped it around her. She smiled as she hugged the jacket to her dearly. I chuckled and silently left her tent and closed it as much as I could even if it was hard zipping it from the outside. I went to my tent and found peace after wearing another jacket to protect me from the cold weather.

"Morning bro." Jaebum said as I went out of my tent. By the looks of it, he just got out too.

"Hey." I acknowledge his greeting.

"Didn't get sleep?" I asked

"I did. But not much. You? Why are your eyes puffy."

"Ahh blame Christine." I said chuckling as we walked towards where our foot were taking us first thing in the morning. To Christine and Sungmi.

"My first guess was Christine broke up with you but since your chuckling then it might be something else."

"Ahaha. True."

"Did she?"

Did she actually break up with you?

"Almost. I guess?"

"Because of Yuri?" He narrowed his eyes at me.

"I honestly think it's something more than that." I said sighing. Am I just reading too much?

"Maybe you're thinking too much. Or maybe she's just testing you on how you'd react if ever that happens." Jaebum shrugged as he yawned.

"Morning~" He greeted sleepily. Seeing him yawn awhile ago made me yawn again.

I looked back to them and saw Kai hyung headlocking Christine but careful not to hurt her since she's a girl. I smiled as I saw her wearing my jacket which was obviously big for her, but she took comfort in it. She clipped her bangs with a cute silver clip Jin hyung bought for her. With her bangs out of her face, her beauty showed quite prominently. The pink studded small bow on her clip shined as the sun struck it. This is definitely Jin hyung's choice!

Jinki sunbae came and well I'm guessing their day came. It's the activity they planned for. Jinki sunbae and Christine will join so they don't know what exactly is waiting for us but they gave us an idea already because Jinki sunbae badly wanted the chicken meal as the prize.

We got in pairs and I was partnered with Sooeun. Yuri's friend way back. She greeted me and I greeted back. We had a small talk with her atleast an inch away from me. She was too close awhile ago so I took a step back. She noticed and she didn't push it, which I'm thankful for.

"SOOEUN!" Yuri's voice suddenly echoed. She called for Sooeun and my eyes landed on three figrues. Yuri, Jinki sunbae and Christine. She was looking at me. They had a talk that was too far to be heard but she gave me a soft smile before heading to her head start with Minrin Sunbae.

"Oppa!" Yuri said smiling at me

"What do you want?"

"I'll be your partner for this activity!" she beamed.

"What about Sooeun?"

"She'll be with someone else."

"Why?"

"Aren't you happy you'll be with me?"

"Not really." I said looking away. I remembered yesterday where I found Christine sitting on the shore with her lip cut at the side. Did Yuri perhaps... No. She could never do that.

We heard the fifth whistle which signaled us our turn to enter the forest and look for the red flag.

"How have you been oppa?" Yuri asked as I was searching for some red flags. I dont think I'll have the energy to fish anymore after this. We've avoided traps and obstacles which drained me already.

"Fine. Nothing's changed. You?" I said not bothering to look at her.

"HAH! FOUND TWO!" I screamed and I heard her giggle.

"Kyeopta oppa." she smiled at me. I looked away as I scratch the back of my neck embarrassed.

"A.anyways. Continue. How are you?"

"Same." she said cheerfully! "I still love you oppa." she quietly said. I gulped but I didn't show any reaction. I pretended not to hear it as I was too busy looking for that flag. I heard her sigh. "I also still love my friends alot!" she carried on with the topic, accepting the fact that I wasn't going to respond to what she said.

"Jjinja?" I smiled at her. "Still protective towards your friends huh?"

"Mmm! I even hit someone yesterday."

"Yuri. I told you not to hurt other people." I say stopping to look at her. "I thought you'd never do that."

"But she deserved it. I hate that Christi-" she gasped as she covered her mouth in surprise.

"Christine?" I looked at her wide eyed.

"Umm.. Oppa it's not what it looks li-"

"DID YOU JUST SAY YOU HIT CHRISTINE?! WERE YOU THE THE REASON BEHIND HER WOUNDED LIP YESTERDAY?!" I practically screamed at her.

"But she deserved it! She twisted Sooeun's hands and Sooeun was hurting!"

"Did you even see the whole thing?! Christine would never hurt anyone without any reason! Besides, that Sooeun had history of bullying her as well! How impossible can it be for her to bully Christine again!"

"Sorry to butt in, but I was there and Sooeun grabbed Christine's hair which made Christine twist Sooeun's hand." a girl from behind us said.

"What are you saying? How can you do this to your group of friends!" Yuri shouted.

"No, I'm not friends with you and I never will be. Your group's attitude stink. I don't wanna be in the bitch group." she said walking away. Yuri was fuming. She was really mad which made sense if what the girl was saying was true.

"Who are you?" I asked Yuri. "I dont think I know you anymore." I said walking away.

"Oppa wait!" she held my hand but I shook it off, looking at her with narrowed eyes.

"Don't touch me." I scowled at her leaving her behind as I went back to the camp site, losing interest in winning the game with such a partner.

It's been hours and almost everyone was back except for Minrin sunbae and Christine and Yuri and 2 pairs. I feel bad. I think it was wrong for me to leave Yuri behind in the forest.. Maybe she got lost. Shit. My conscience wouldn't be able to take it. Especially after her mom making me responsible for her. Damn it.

I stood up from the log around the camp fire and started heading towards the forest when Yuri came out looking dirty. The nurse went to her and took her to the medical tent. I followed silently and saw that she had cuts all over her.

"What happened?" I suddenly stepped in.

"I fell." She said blankly

"I'm sorry.."

"It's okay. I'm sorry too oppa." she smiled sadly

"Sorry for what?"

"Nothing."

Jinki sunbae suddenly went to the medical tent, panicking.

"Have you seen Christine?" Jinki asked Yuri.

"No."

"Shit." he whispered.

"What's going on?" I asked, my lungs gasping for air as I wasn't feeling good about the answer that was about to come out from his mouth.

"Christine... she's missing." he said as he ran away frantically looking for her.

I went to my tent and checked my phone. DAMN IT!

There was a missed call. I tried dialing it but her phone's out of reach. Could she be low bat right now? This isn't good. The sun's gonna set soon and we have to find her quickly. I went out of my tent to meet a nervous Sungmi and worried Jaebum and Jongin.

"What are we gonna do?" Sungmi asked as her voice cracked. "That pabo. She has no sense of direction.. What if. What if.."

"Shh" Jaebum hugged her and sighed.

"AISH!" Jongin kicked the branch that was infront of him.

"What are we waiting for?" I asked them as I started to walk briskly towards the forest but someone grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"We can't go. The teachers said they'll handle it." Jaebum said.

"Why can't we help!?" Jongin hissed frustrated.

"Okay students please everyone gather around your campsite! Red team please cooperate!" our teacher stated. We all went to the campsite as we were told and the teachers asked us who was last seen with her and things alike. When was the last time we saw her and stuffs which is just pissing me off. No one knows and no one's answering. Why waste time on this!? Minrin sunbae was crying as she felt responsible for what happened. I can't stay any longer. The more they ask stupid questions, the longer Christine's waiting out in the cold, probably lost and scared. My foot's tapping on the ground impatiently. Jongin and Jaebum noticed my impatience. We three shared eye contacts. No words were exchanged as we swiftly escaped the crowd of students to look for Christine on our own.

"Should we split up?"

"It's too dangerous."

"But it'll be faster."

"Does everyone have their phone?" I asked

"Yeah." both of them said

"Charged?"

"Yeah." they said in sync again.

"Then let's go our separate ways. Christine was able to call me, but I'm guessing her phone's low bat. I can't reach her anymore. Anyways. Her being able to leave a missed call means there's signal right? We'll contact eachother. But be safe guys." I told them. We were all on our own. I stepped slowly, calling out to her, hoping that she could hear me.

"JAGIYAAA! JAGIYAAAAA!!" I screamed.

"CHRISTINE AH! ANSWER ME!" I heard Jaebum from afar

"YAH PABOYA! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!" That must be Jongin hyung. Yep. He gets mad when he's worried.

We were all looking for. Please please please be okay.. Just wait alittle more.. I'll be with you.

I've been roaming around in circle as I always go back to the same old tree near a cliff around 10 feet tall? Ugh. Damn it. It's been 2 hours. My thighs and legs hurt but I dont give a shit. I need to find her.

I was about to walk away once more when I heard a soft groan.

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT.

It sent me shivers. Are there ghosts here? Go away go away go away.... I need to find my Jagi first please don't scare me right now..

I looked around, frantically bobbing my head left to right to see if anyone was there. But I was alone. I felt stupid. I shook my head as something caught my eye. It's a silver clip. I've seen this before... Where have I seen this?

I picked it up and saw a pink little bow. I suddenly remembered Jin hyung. I lifted it up and as the sun shined through it, the studded bow sparkled. This clip looks terribly familiar...

CHRISTINE!

"Jagiya!" I shouted, spinning as I don't know where she was.. But she's close.

"J..Jungkook?" I heard a soft voice who was sounding weak.

"Jagi!" I shouted once more moving closer to where I heard the voice.. Near the tree.

"I.is that y.you?" she said abit louder this time.. But she wasn't near the tree.. She was beyond it.. My eyes grew wide as I suddenly lay on the floor with my stomach on the crunchy leaves as I peeked through the cliff.

"Jagi are you there?!" I screamed and saw her sitting on something as she leaned her head on a trunk of a tree. I didn't know what I was doing as I suddenly stepped down and ended up rolling as I fell on the ground. The soft bushes broke my fall and I quickly went to where I saw her.

"Jagi are you hurt? Are you okay?" I said frantically searching her face for wounds.. then her arms and legs. I noticed her foot wrapped in white cloth.. It's my hanky.

"Sprain?" I asked worriedly and she just nodded weakly.

"What's wrong?"

"My.. head hurts.. but I.. I can't vomit." She said looking pale.

"Jagi, can you hold on to me? I'll carry you on my back until we could get back up. Can you?" I said squeezing her hand. She nodded softly and I knelt facing my back towards her. She slowly wrapped her arms around me. Feeling her touch on me made my fatigue disappear as I was dead set on bringing her back to the medical tent to get her treated.

I struggled but I got by. By the help of the vines and branches I held on to, we got to the top where I came from. I slowly placed her down as she was already closing her eyes.

"Stay with me baby." I muttered softly.

I held her cheeks and felt her burning. She's having a fever. Shit shit this isn't good. I swept her, carrying her bridal style as I started jogging towards the campsite. When we were nearing the camp site, I saw Jaebum and Jongin trying to pass by the teachers and staffs who were holding them back. When Jongin saw us, he pushed them hard enough to make the staff fall down as he ran towards us with Jaebum and Sungmi behind.

"What happened?!" Sungmi shouted seeing her unconscious.

"I can carry her." Jaebum offered.

"No. It's fine. Help me find the nurse instead." I told them as I started walking towards the medical tent. The other students wanted to crowd in but Jongin's glare to anyone who dared step near us to have something to talk about to everyone gave us a way to the nurse's tent without any hassle.

"Put her down dear" The nurse said patting the nurse bed and started checking her body for scars and everything and started doing her job. The nurse told me not to worry because besides the fever and the sprain, nothing serious seemed to have happened. I stayed there beside her bed as I waited for her to wake up. I held her hand all through out praying to God that she'll be alright in no time.

It's 2500+ words omona! Hahaha! This chapter was Jungkook's POV of what was happening. So that's why Yuri got pissed when Christine asked where's her partner. It's because she was left xD Lol at her. but omg guys. Jungkook just called Christine 'baby'. <3 <3

I'm trying to update but it's just that I've been busy so all I got to do is to read other stories that was already downloaded since I can't access the internet frequently. If I do, not long enough for me to compose and publish the story. Having strict parents really is challenging. Plus the pressure of having good grades and crap. asdfghjkl Sorry if I dont get to reply to all your comments :< but I really appreciate and love it when you do. It gives me a motivation to complete a chapter. Please help me update more by commenting alot! ^_^
