THE CHOICE

"Wonu?? I'm home. I came from the supermarket to buy us some supplies."

I turned to see Wonwoo on the baywindow reading. He was in the same position as I left him this morning, the only difference was he showered and he was reading a new book. I sighed as I put down the shopping bag on the table.

"Are you even listening to me?"

"You got home. Supermarket. Food supplies."

"You're always like this! If you're not out there practicing with the boys, you're at home reading."

"Are we gonna argue about this again? I told you this—""Is your way of relaxing, I know. But come one Wonu! I'm here for sht sake! Atleast notice me while we're together!" I snap at him.

He sighs as he closes his book in frustration."Fine, I'm all yours. Now what?""You know what?! Nevermind! Go drown in your stupid books! I'm done Wonu. We're done!" I say as I slammed the door on my way out.

I got in my car and dialled Mingyu's number.

"Heyyy y/n! Wazzup!""M-ming-yu..Where are you?""Woah. What happened? I'm at a korean resto with Joshua Hyung.""T-text me the address. I'll go there.""No. I'll get you. Stay where you are okay? Text me and I'll come and get you."

I ended the call and texted Mingyu. Minutes later, he arrived and got in the car. "Let me drive okay? Why don't we go to that park where we first met?" I nodded as I moved so he could take the wheel. He didn't ask questions, he just drove and let me cry. This wasn't the first time Wonu and I had a fight, at first it was about him always being distant, then he always goes out whenever he's free and now his books. I just don't understand him anymore.

We arrived at the park and we seated on a bench.

"So? you ready to tell me what happened this time?""He's different Mingyu. I tried to understand him, I-I really d-did." I started to cry again and I felt Mingyu's arms wrapped around me. I just cried until no tears would come out. I felt the exhaustion take over me and drifted into deep sleep.

Mingyu's POV

I drove her home and carried her to her house. I knocked on the door and Wonu hyung opened the door.

"Is she alright?" He asked. His expression blank."This time, maybe not. You've got to tell her Hyung.""You know I can't. I don't know how.""Yes you do. You're just afraid what she might say. Tell her or I will.""Fine. Give me time. I'll take her now. Thanks Mingyu.""I'm doing it for her not for you." I said. Handing y/n over to him."I know. Still, thank you." He replied

Y/N's POV

I woke up with a headache. And in my bed. Mingyu must've drove me home. I got up and took a look at the mirror. "Gahd, I look awful." ."You're still beautiful." Startled I turned around to see Wonu leaning on the door frame.

"Don't talk to me. I'm still mad at you.""I know, I'm sor—""No. Not this time Wonu. I've had enough of your sorrys and until you tell me what's really going on with you, I can't be around you."I grabbed my suitcase from my closet and started packing.

"Y/N what are u doing you can't leave this is our apartment, our home.""No wonu. YOU. Are my home and it feels like you're not here so I have no home right now. Don't worry I'll be at Mingyu's for now."He sighed as he massaged his neck. "Fine have it your way." He says as he leaves.

I can't believe him! Just like that he lets me go. I thought to myself. I finished packing and left the apartment driving to Mingyu's house crying, I try to keep myself together.

I arrived at Mingyu's apartment and knocked on his door."Y/N. You're...moving in?""Is it okay? If it's a bother I could go to Joshua's, or—""No no. It's fine I just thought—Have you and Wonu Hyung talked?""Unless I'm a book then he won't give me any attention. I'll just stay here for a couple of days until I can find an apartment.""You can stay as long as you want. Uhm, come in. I'll let you get settled. I've got somewhere to go. I'll be back okay?"I nodded as I went in.

Mingyu's POV

"Hyung. I know you're there open the door."I hear as the door unlocks and as the door opened, I landed a punch on him.

"Hello to you too Mingyu."He says as wipes the blood from his lips."I told you to tell her the truth!""And I told you I can't!"

"Yes you can! I know it might hurt her but you have t—"

"To what? Believe that she might still stay with me after telling her that if I don't break up with her, the CEO is gonna kick me out of the group!?"

"Hyung. You can talk to her, explain how."

"I don't wanna lose her Mingyu. I can't! I've been thinking how to get out of this for weeks! But either way if I do this or not, if I tell her or not, I might still lose her." This was the first time I'd seen Wonu Hyung weak he sat on the floor his hands covering his face.

"You're gonna be kicked out?"

We both turned to see Y/N standing outside.

Wonwu Hyung quickly stood up . "Y/N, I can explain—""I think what I heard is enough explanation. Wonu, I can't believe you'd hide this from me.""I wanted to tell you, but it's my decision.""Well I'm part of your decision! And you can't! You can't do this."

"What are you saying that you want to end this? Us?"

"Yes. I love you Wonu. But I can't get in the way of your dreams."

"Before you Y/N, a life of an idol was my dream. Then you came and changed it all. I'm willing to risk it. Risk being kicked out, as long as I get to be with you."

Y/N's POV

Tears filled my eyes as I heard Wonu's words, I hugged him tight and he did the same. "I'll request a meeting with the CEO tomorrow. I'm not losing you. Not like this."

I nod as I buried myself in his scent.

We arrived at the company building. Wonu was silent the whole way here, he just held my hand and kept a straight face.

"The CEO will see you know." The CEO's assistant told us. We got inside the private room, surprised to see the other 12 members present.

"Have a seat Ms. Y/N and Wonu." The CEO said, I didn't know what he was thinking same as Wonu he just kept a straight face. The other members faces were with fret.

"Well Wonu, you called this meeting. You should say your statement."

Wonu took a deep breath and bowed before saying, "I'm leaving the group. If I can't be with y/n then I'll—"

Wonu's words were cut off by the CEO's laugh. My eyes widened, well not just mine but everyone in the room.

"I never expected Jeon Wonwoo to be like this. Standing up to me, the CEO of the Company for a girl."

The CEO sighed and stood up and walked towards our seats."You're not leaving this group—""Wel I'm not leaving her.""Yeah, I expected that. So, I'm planning on taking her in as a trainee. So that, there won't be any issues with the fans or the public. Either that or she goes."

"I accept.""Y/N!" Wonu held my hand."No, it's okay. If this is the only way I can freely be with you. Then I accept."

"Good. Then meeting dismissed. I'll contact you for further info. All of you can go."

We got out of the room as the members approached wonwu and each of them gave him a hug.

"You think we're letting you both go that easily." Seungcheol smiles as he pats wonu's head.

"You convinced him didn't you? All of you convinced him."

"Of course we did. We can't be 17 without you. And besides y/n's a part of the family already."

"Aweee. You guys are the sweetest."

"And you're gonna be a trainee now." Woozi said.

"Yup! You're gonna be seeing more of me."

We stopped by to grab something to eat before going home. We got home as Wonu wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my head.

"Okay now, I know you're tall. You don't have to remind me I'm a midget."

"I love you." He whispers. The way he said it was different, full of love and care.I turned to wrap my arms around him.

"I love you too. No more secrets okay?"

"No more. I promise.""And if you ever read a damn book while I'm talking to you I'm burning all your Nicholas Sparks Collection."

He chuckles, and smirked that sexy smirk of his.

"Yes Ma'am." He says as he leans and kisses me. And the night was ours. 💖
