chapter 34

God damn it! It's late again!!!                                          ~•~Hokage's POV

After everybody left I decided that I'd do some research while Naruto rested. I can't even Imagine the confusion  that he must be in right now. I mean I would never be able to just wake up after my entire chakra system was changed and just be okay! 

I  was researching in some files as to figure out how Naruto even got another chakra in the first place! It has been a two hours now and I am half way done with looking into Naruto's history and I'm starting to loose hope. I should've found something by now, right? 

By now I'm starting to think I might need a little help. So I decide to call Tsunade in. I should've called her in long ago, but I guess I was too shocked to think of that. So I sent an ANBU to go get her.

 Fifteen minutes later I heard a knock. "come in," I replied as usual. I saw her walk in, " Hokage-sama , you called?" 

"Ahh, I did," I confirmed.

"Why is it that you called me? I told you not to bother me unless something happened to the boy."

"I know. Something did happen. "

"Oh, really. Okay, Hokage-sama, what was so important that you had to wake me up from my afternoon nap?" She said in an annoyed tone. Note to self, don't wake Tsunade up from her naps.

''Well, you also told me to get you once he woke up didn't you?"

"yeah, so what?" she said, "Its virtually impossible for him to wake you this early so what happened?"

"Well, just so that you know, he did wake up." I said with a smirk. 

" Huh? Could repeat that , please?" She said in disbelief.

" I think you heard me Tsunade." 

" Wha- How?!"

"I don't know. Your the medic, you tell me!" 

"I don't know either! Wait, Where is he?! Did you already talk to him? did you figure out who he is?" 

"One question at a time please. but to answer you questions, he's still in my office. Yes, I did talk to him. and yes, I did figure out who he is."

"ahh, sorry about that," she said sheepishly, "well, who is he then?" 

"Apparently he is Naruto."

"wait, that child that went missing?"

"yes, I don't know how, but his appearance changed and he doesn't remember a thing that happened.                                      

"makes sense, I mean he did suffer extreme change to his physical and chakra state." she said deep in thought, "What are you doing now?"

"Ahh, I'm searching through Naru's records to see how on earth he even got the third chakra in the first place..." I said as I began searching again,"I was hoping that you'd help me some."

"sure... I guess" she said, "but,, shouldn't we really be giving him a check up?"

"He's asleep at the moment and  I think that he needs the rest."

"Makes sense, I guess..." she trailed off, "so, how exactly can I help?"

After that we searched for another hour until  we were finished searching through his files. We didn't come up with anything. I had my face in my hands. how on earth can nothing show up?!"

I looked up to Tsunade, she looked exhausted. I was about to tell her that she could go home when I heard a creak to my right. I looked over and saw a very tired looking Naruto standing in the door way of my private office. 

Tsunade's POV 

I turned to where the hokage was looking to see the bo-Naruto standing there. He obviously just woke up. HIs hair was a mess and he was rubbing some crusties away from his eye. I had to admit that he was adorable. Even if he was strong enough to kill my ex-teammate, and I knew that he was probably strong enough to kill me, I just couldn't deny the facts. 

After I snapped out of my daze I ran over to asses his injuries. after I decided that he was okay I backed off a little. I looked down at him and I could tell he was scared. Well I'm pretty sure that anyone could tell since he was backing away slowly and his eyes were darting left and right, probably searching for an escape. luckily the hokage was there to intervene in, "Naruto, how are you feeling?" as soon as Naruto saw the hokage he ran over to him and hid behind him.

I sweat dropped, am I really that scary. I guess the hokage  could tell what I was thinking since he chuckled a bit and said, "He's not always like this. He's probably just scared since he doesn't recognized you and you practically jumped him."

I looked back to the small boy and could see him calming down  a little, probably since he saw that the hokage knows me. I hope he isn't scared of me forever though. 

the hokage then explained to him who I was and now Naru was settled down completely and was sitting atop the Hokage's lap.  I still needed to do an actually check up and I guess the hokage knew too. "Naru, can you get off my lap so that Tsunade over here can give you a check up?" 

Naruto looked nervously at me and them looked towards the hokage and slowly nodded while jumping off of his lap. he sat done on a nearby chair and I began doing to normal stuff like checking his heartbeat, blood pressure, and reflexes. Then I went on to the more difficult stuff like checking for internal injuries and inspecting his chakra system. thankfully everything seemed to be fine so I gave him the good to go and let him sit on the Hokage's lap again. 

After I told the Hokage my full report on him I was able to finally go home, back to my precious bed.                                       ~•~Hoped you liked it! Please
