Chapter 33

The hokage summoned me to his office. Something confidential apparently. I hope he found Naruto. His disappearance has been tearing me up inside from the beginning. These passed day or two have been rough. Despite me wanting to deny it, I cry once every three hours because I know that Naruto could be suffering.

I've also come to turns that I actually love Naruto. From day one, when we first met, he has been the one putting me in a good mood. When I was feeling down his presence al9ne would cheer me up....But now, it might be too late to tell him my feelings. He might never be found... or worse... found dead.

I could feel a hot tear run down my face. I whipped it away, only for another to come.

After a minute or two the tears stopped. I went to the bathroom and washed my face, trying to get rid of the teartracks as much as possible. After I was done I began walking to the hokages office.

When I was almost there I saw multiple other people too. Once I got closer I could see that they were the other rookies and their senseis. Why are they here?

I decided that I'd figure it out eventually.

"Yo" kakashi-sensei greeted, in doing so getting the others attention.

"Sasuke-kun!!!"

Oh Kami no. Please just kill me now...actually, kill her. I'm not gonna die just because of some annoying bitch. Not in a million years!

I dodged all of her attacks and tried to ignore her as much as possible.

"Now that everybody is here, we should be able to enter." Asuma said.

We all nodded and he knocked on the door. After a second we were told we could enter. Once we were all inside of his office the hokage motioned us to follow him.

He opened the door where the boy was. When I walked in I saw that he had woken up! I tried to hide my emotions of surprise and disappointment to the fact he didn't find Naruto.

On the other hand, i was surprised because he shouldn't be awake yet. Tsunade said that it would take at least a week! So how is he sitting up as if nothing ever happened?!

When our eyes met I felt as though I was stuck in a trance. I've never seen eyes so unique to his. I've seen the Byakugan, Sharingan, and multiple other dojutsu. But his topped all of them.

His eyes were two different colors. His right eye was clear and blue like the ocean, but his left eye was blood red. I couldn't stop staring, but forced myself to after I felt multiple eyes upon me.

I turned away, trying to hide my oncoming blush. Why do I have to be so pale? It makes it so that the slightest blush causes me to look like a tomato. Damn it!

Luckily it didn't seem as though anyone noticed.

Soon enough the hokage was asking questions. Simple ones like his name, but it seems as though he spaced out.

After a minute or two the hokage reached up to check his temperature, but when he was five inches away the boy blinked. He flinched back and tried to scoot back. The hokage asked, "You alright? You spaced out on us for a second."

The boy nodded, "umm, yeah, thanks."

His voice was just as angelic. Damn, why does he remind me so much of Naruto? I could feel the sadness trying to take over, but I pushed it back down and decided to deal with it later.

Once I got back to my senses I heard the hokage repeat his question, "What's your name?"

By this point the boy was getting really nervous. What could be so bad that it causes someone to look so terrified. ' something, but it was so quiet even the hokage who was a good away from him couldn't hear. Then again he is really old...

"I-if I tell you, you won't b-believd me" he stuttered.

Is that why he's scared? Because he thinks we won't believe him? This is almost as innocent as when Naruto says sorry to everything. Stop it! Why can't I not think about Naruto for one second! Yeesh!

The hokage countinued to tell him that we would believe him. We all nodded our heads in agreeance.

"Y-you promise?" The hokage nodded his head again.

"O-okay..." he said quietly, but not so what we couldn't hear him, "i-im N-N-Naruto."he said as he looked down at his lap.

N-naruto? H-how? What happened? I don't understand. How could Naruto go from blond hair, teal eyes, whisker marks, and tan skin. To haveing white hair, heterochromic eyes, no whisker marks, and basically white skin?!

I could tell that the hokage was having a similar reaction as me because he exclaimed loudly, "how?!" He went on to ask, "is there anyway you can prove it?"

I am too questioning it, but without knowing it, I'm starting to get my hopes up.

"U-umm y-you could ask me questions I guess..."he said unsteadily.

The hokage goes on to tell how it is going to work, all the while I'm questioning everything.

Kakashi-sensei asked about our first c-rank and when he answered correctly my doubts began to lessen.

Next it was Sakura's turn and of course she asks something stupid. I just block everything out until I thought it was my turn. I decided that I'd ask him a stupid question as well since I've got nothing to loose. Plus I've already decided it actually is Naruto. After all, I wouldn't think he was cute otherwise.

So I asked, "why did you call my 'ducky' in the academy?"

Thankfully I got something out of it, because his face turned red again. He's so cute when he's flustered.

"Oh, well, you see it's because your hair looks like a d-ducks butt!"

I could feel my face heat up. Damn it! I looked away and subconsciously brought my hand up to the tips of my hair. Does it really?

After everything died down we were forced to leave. I reluctantly left his office and went home thinking about all that had happened. ~•~It was a bit late, but that's okay. Thanks for the 21k! Have a nice day and please
