✁┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈long chapter! and the last one. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈

⭑ The month of November was slowly coming to an end and the actual cold weather had started to show itself on the dry trees, the chilly breezes, the shortening of the day and in the constant whining that came out of Kim Hongjoong who would always get a bad flu during the winters and today was no different than that. An entire month of their debut album promotions finally ended and the boys could not have been happier given a week off after the promotions had finished and today was their second day off.

Hongjoong rolled onto his right trying to find warmth but due to not being met up any the male groaned and slightly opened his left eye to see why the bed felt so empty. No sight of his boyfriend, Seonghwa like any other day of the promotions. A pout formed on his face as he slowly got up rubbing his eyes so his vision would get better. Him and Seonghwa haven't had the time to properly be with eachother especially due to the stress and all the rush for the promotions. The two didn't get a single chance to have normal days together as a couple and it only got worse. The only time they'd talk to one another properly would at night when they'd lay in eachother's embrace and speak for some time before going to sleep.

"Seonghwa??" He called out in a small voice trying to look around for the older.

"I'm here" a voice replied making the younger look towards its owner and smile. "I was taking a shower bby did you sleep well?"

"Hmm" the younger stretched his hand out for the older to hold and help him stand up but instead of properly standing up he just hugged the older and nuzzled his face into the older's neck and inhaling his scent.

"Oh? Clingy today hmm?" A soft smiled appeared on the older's face as he wrapped his arms around the younger's waist.

"Just missed you Seongie" he replied with a muffled voice. "We've been so busy lately and also, you weren't here the entire the day yesterday! we just got our break hwa" his tone slowly turned sad making the older frown.

"Hey, I knoww baby I just had something to take care of yesterday. I'm free now so let's be together all day. How about we go out somewhere today?" His slim fingers moved towards the younger's silky hair and ruffled it.

"I should freshen up now hmm what time is any way?" Hongjoong pulled apart from the hug moving towards the night stand to grab his phone.

"12 pm? God how long did I even sleep"

"It's okayy you deserved all this sleep the promotions were exhausting and you did so much for all of us" Seonghwa brought his face towards the younger's to kiss his lips only to be stopped by him making the male confused.

"Oh hush I need to brush my teeth first hwa" He put his hand on the older's lips and gently pushed his face away which made the black-haired male whine.

"See you laterrr!" And with that Seonghwa was left alone in the room again with no morning kiss to make his day better. A sigh left his mouth but the next second his lips curled up into a smile. He couldn't wait for Hongjoong to see what he had planned for the two of them today.

Hongjoong got out of the washroom patting his wet hair with a beige coloured towel. His gaze fell on the bed where a laid some clothes, eyebrows furrowed, he slowly walked towards the bed still drying his hair. A white long sleeved tee paired with a beige flannel shirt spread out on his bed along with a brown wide jeans with a small note. 

"As I said earlier, we're going to spend this entire day together. I picked your outfit soo I'm hoping you like my choice! Have some breakfast Joongie see you around 2 :) xx Seonghwa."

A small smile made its way up the male's face and turned into a huge grin. He quickly looked at the time. Seeing the numbers 12:25 blink on them made him leave a sigh of relief. He still has time to get ready. Great! Where even is Seonghwa hyung though if he says he'll see me around 2? Oh well.

New message! Seongie <3 "I'm outside waiting in my car baby are you ready?" "Have you eaten already?"

Me"Yesss all ready, see you in a few mins!" "Yup ate pancakes Yeosang made"

Smiling to himself Hongjoong quickly grabbed his cross bag checking whether all his possessions were in it and wore it before quietly exiting the dorm without the members noticing. Mingi and Yeosang had their eyes glued to the glowing screen infront of them as they cursed at eachother over the video game while San sat in the kitchen half awake trying to finish his pancakes. He didn't know where the others were but he was thankful they weren't here to see or they'd have hundreds of requests to bring back snacks or comics or maybe even tease him.

Honk! Seonghwa smirked seeing his clumsy boyfriend flinch at the sound of the horn. The leader gasped and rolled his eyes before looking around and moving towards the older to hug him.

"Alrighttyyyy let's leave then hmm?" Seonghwa went towards the other side and opened the car door for the younger who grinned.

"Wow such a gentleman huh" 

The car ride was nice and cozy, the two put on some k-rnb songs to keep the atmosphere calm and fresh. Seonghwa tapped his on the steering wheel while humming to the music while Hongjoong slowly bopped his head up and down listening to the song.

"Where are we going hyung?" Hongjoong asked bringing his finger close to the screen and changing the song to another. "Hmm something work related" The younger's eyes shot up from the screen almost instantly and he looked at the black-haired male with his mouth slightly open and eyebrows furrowed.

"Nooo what the heck? We just got this break" he whined slightly stomping his feet making the older laugh out loud and shake his head.

"I'm just kiddingggg do you really think I would be this chill going back to work on the second day of our break?"

Hongjoong rolled his eyes giving the Seonghwa a gentle punch on his shoulder before slumping down on the car seat. If this wasn't work related then where were they even headed?

"Where are we actually going then?" He asked turning his head towards the black haired male again who continued to hum the song.

"Well it's a secret" Seonghwa finally answered taking a glance at the leader and grinned. He absolutely loved to see Hongjoong whine and act mad when he clearly wasn't. It was always an adorable sight to see.

"Let's just say you're going to love it" atleast I hope so. The older added. His eyes still focused on the road in front but he took another glance at Hongjoong who was already looking at him with his sparkly eyes. The sight was so stunning and thank goodness luck was on his side. The car stopped due to the red light glowing infront of them and Seonghwa knew he had to take this chance so he quickly came close to the younger and stole a small kiss.

"Yahh!! Park Seonghwa control yourself and oh start driving its green light now" Hongjoong panicked but couldn't bite back the smile forming on his lip.

The two males got out of the car and Seonghwa quickly walked towards the opposite. He held the younger's wrist stopping him from walking, confusing him a bit and grabbed two caps from the car. He put one on himself and the other on the younger's head and fixed his hair a little.

"Here wear this Joongie" he handed a mask to the younger who finally understood what was going on and wore it. "I'm sorry that it has to be this way but now that we're idols we have to do all this" Seonghwa spoke sighing but the leader shook his head and rubbed his shoulder telling him it's okay. "Alrighttt now come on we're going to a cat cafe" a loud squeal left Hongjoong's as soon as he heard the older say where they were going. He truly adored animals and it had been a while since he last went to a cat or a dog cafe.

"I've been wanting go oh my gosh it's been a while since I last went!" A huge smile formed on his lips covered by the white mask but Seonghwa could still tell how excited he was.

As soon as the two entered the cafe Hongjoong lost control over himself completely. His cuteness aggression for the cats was all over the place but in Seonghwa's eyes he looked the most adorable there. Even more than the cats. The two spent a bit feeding the cats and playing with them and then Seonghwa decided to order something light for them to eat but with some sweet drinks.

"HE'S SO FLUFFY I'M GOING TO DIEEEE HWA LOOK AT THIS CUTIE" Hongjoong squealed petting the cat.

"Hmm look at this one he's like Simba from the lion king no?" Seonghwa grabbed the cat and held it in the air making Hongjoong laugh and the two of them started to quietly sing that one song before the cat decided he had enough and scratched the older. After a while their food had arrived so the two decided to pet the cats one last time and enjoy their sweet treats.

"This was so fun Seongie!" Hongjoong spoke in between the sips he was taking from his pink coloured drink.

"I know baby this is just the start of this date. There's more especially since it's quite literally our first one"

Hongjoong stared at the older for a few seconds as the realisation hit him. It's true ever since they started dating they couldn't go on a date at all because of their busy schedules. He passed the most adorable smile to the older sent him a flying kiss making Seonghwa laugh.

. The next spot was this beach Seonghwa wanted to take the younger to. He sat back driving and silently praying that for it to not be crowded so they can enjoy themselves or it'll completely ruin his plan.

The songs that played in their car were a bit more energetic now. The vibes had clearly gotten even better and Hongjoong could not wait to see what the older male had planned on next. He put on "shine" by pentagon and did a small dance to it while Seonghwa sang along to it instead. Soon they had reached their destination and the two put on their caps and masks again to not raise any awareness of the them being present there.

"Wow I didn't it would be this breezy but erm it nice?" Seonghwa spoke which felt more like a question making the younger giggle.

"You know how much I love the wind so this is perfect and our outfits are perfect so it doesn't matter that's chilly too" Hongjoong grabbed the older's hand and pulled him while running both of them laughing loudly as the cold air touched their skin making them shiver.

There were thankfully very less people and Hongjoong even found a spot with them being far away from everyone else so they could act a little more relaxed and enjoy their time together.

"Oh! We should definitely draw a heart on the sand and write our initials inside it!" Seonghwa nodded finding the leader's idea great and so they both got to work instantly.

Once they were done with the heart that said "P.S & K.H 4EVER" Seonghwa took his phone out of his pocket and somehow managed to make it stand on the sand. Then he grabbed Hongjoong's hand and pulled him to stand back so they could take pictures with eachother. The two tried out different fun and cute poses which Seonghwa mostly struggled through but his boyfriend was there to help him out.

Since the cold weather has already approached Seoul they knew it was impossible to go into the freezing water completely so instead the duo decided to dip there feet in the chilly water and see who could last in it the longest. After about 5 minutes into the game Hongjoong decided cheating is the way and he tried to make Seonghwa lose his balance so he could win but instead lost his own balance instead was almost about to fall in the water but older grasped his hand on time.

"Mhmm go ahead cheat more Kim Hongjoong and I won't save you the next time" Seonghwa grinned as the younger gasped still in shock knowing the freezing cold water would've engulfed him.

After their fun little bickering and games at the beach they decided to leave since they were shivering a bit due to the cold breezy weather.

"Ahh— man Yunho is going to question me and try to each and every detail" Hongjoong groaned stretching his arms up and chucking a little.

"Yup he'll definitely be doing that. We still have to time though" Seonghwa replied making the leader tilt his head in confusion.

"We aren't going home?" He questioned which was answered by the older giving him a small nod.

"Oh wow I completely forgot." The car stopped once again due to the red stop sign and Seonghwa turned around moving his hand to the back of the car and grabbing a bouquet of pink lily flowers from behind.

"Here. I know how much you adore lily flowers so yeah erm here" Hongjoong stared at the flowers for a few seconds before a honk from behind pulled him back into reality he took them from Seonghwa who started to drive again but kept glancing at the younger. A soft smile appeared on Hongjoong's face which the older was able to capture making him smile as well.

"I- I don't want to say Hwa. This is perfect, I love this. I love this so much. I love you" Hongjoong felt a bit emotional at this point and he couldn't understand why.

"Aww ofcourse baby. I love you too" Seonghwa grabbed the younger's chin while his other hand stayed on the steering wheel and slowly rubbed it in adoration. Hongjoong's eyes had gotten a both glossy and the older could see that.

"Come on now no crying yet hmm? We still have one more thing left and many future dates to go on too! I plan on stepping up my game and you're going to fall even more for my handsome face so save these tears for later yeah?" Hongjoong chuckled a little before pushing Seonghwa's hand away and pinched his cheek.

"Don't be so full of yourself Park Seonghwa-shii"

The car ride went silent for a bit and that was enough. The comfort still lingered between the two as the songs continued to play from the speakers. It was an about 6pm now and the glowing sun from earlier had it dimmed its light a bit now allowing the blues to take over the sky. It was now time to go to this place Seonghwa had figured out not too long ago. It wasn't something too special but it was definitely peaceful and pretty. Soon they had reached at the area and got out of the car. Seonghwa reached out for the leader's hand and held it his, intertwining their fingers.

"We don't need to be wearing caps or masks here. It's peaceful and nobody is around"

"Hmm and how can you be so sure?" Hongjoong teased furrowing his eyebrows.

"Well let's just say I've come here a lot to know that.

After a bit of walking Seonghwa suddenly stopped making the younger do the same. Hongjoong looked around internally panicking a bit. Had someone seen them? Seonghwa put his hands around Hongjoong's face covering his eyes and this was enough to make the younger feel relaxed. He really thought there were people here.

"Alright now close your eyes and just follow me okay? No peeking Joongie I'm serious"

"Okayyy I know I knoww" Hongjoong giggled.

A little more walking and they were finally there. Seonghwa slowly brought his hands back to himself and asked Hongjoong to open his eyes.

"Sooo do you like it?"

"Wha- I... y-yeah I do." Tears streamed down the younger's face which made Seonghwa frown.

"I...I love it...so much Seongie." Hongjoong brought his hands to his face trying to wipe tears but Seonghwa was faster. He wiped the tears of Hongjoong's face with his thumbs and leaned in to place a kiss on his forehead.

"Come. Let's sit down and watch the sun set yeah?"

The spot was absolutely gorgeous. Hongjoong was almost surprised people didn't know about it. A light blue coloured sheet had been laid on the light green grass with pastel coloured cushions and a comfortable blanket on it. Fairy lights were displayed on and around the cushions and the flowers that surrounded that it gave it a very stunning look. "We have food too by the way. There's pizza and well erm cupcakes with drinks as well. I know a proper fancy dinner would've been better but you know I'm cut from the family busin-"

"Shush hwa this is quite literally perfect and I love pizza! You know I'd choose it over a fancy dinner any time" Hongjoong spoke pulling the older into a sweet kiss. "Come let's watch the sunset now" The two sat down together and watched the orange sun slowly fall and fade into the blues. Another little game started of who could pull the cheese from the pizza the most and ofcourse, cheating was definitely something Hongjoong decided to go with but still failing miserably. The games and talks as the duo munched onto the food and drinks.

At some point the sky was a complete different shade of blue now. The two had been done with eating and now comfortably laid on the sheets in silence. Hongjoong snuggled a little closer to Seonghwa and put his arms around him.

"Did you enjoy today?" Seonghwa asked in a low voice to which the younger hummed.

"Ofcourse! Everything was perfect hwa. I'm so lucky to have you. I love you so much. I've loved you for so long. Ever since we were kids. You are the best boyfriend ever and I hope to be the same for you." Seonghwa smiled hearing the younger and nodded in agreement. "I love you too. So much more. I know this road is going to be not easy for us at all but I really hope we can go through it together and I know we will. I believe in us. I believe in ateez too. I'm so grateful to have you Hongjoong."
