Chapter Two

'And all my doubt is a staircase for you, opened out of this maze'

Sam woke up to someone patting her shoulder "momma. Momma wake up" the little voice said

"Baby I'm up" Sam said sitting up looking over at her sleeping husband

"Who's that momma" Harley said Sam didn't know what to say

"Morning kiddo I'm your mommas friend." Jax said sitting up

"What's your name and why are you in my mommas bed?" She asked

"My name is Jax and we were watching a movie and I fell asleep. What's your name darlin?" He asked flashing that smile.

"Harley Jane Teller" she smiled the same smile her father held.

"Nice to meet you Harley want some breakfast? So your momma can shower?" Jax smiled knowing last nights events she needed a shower

Harley looked at her mother "Harley listen very carefully. The bad man can't get us anymore. I promise" Sam said

"You said that last time" Harley said pouting

"Hey Harley can I tell you a secret? I'm gonna make sure the bad man never gets you and your momma ever again. I have lots of friends to protect you" Jax smiled Harley climbed up on the bed and hugged Jax. Feeling like a million dollars holding his daughter for the first time.

Sam had never taken such a long shower but she needed it.She knew that she was already back in too deep with Jax, but she was afraid everything was going to come to an end soon when he went back.

As she walked out to the kitchen she could hear laughter she smiled "Jax! Mommas gonna be so happy!!!" Harley squealed

"Why's that baby?" Sam asked walking into the kitchen

"Made ya breakfast babe and we picked some flowers from the neighbors yard" Jax said smiling as he bit his lip.

Sam kissing both of them on the cheeks and sat down and ate breakfast. They laughed and giggled the whole time. Jax went and took a shower and came out dressed for the day "Jax are you leaving?" Harley asked

"No sweetie momma said we have to bring you to daycare " Jax said Harley pouted

"Only one more day then its a few days off Harley you'll be fine" Sam said

"Ok but can Jax bring me in? Bart makes fun of me cause I don't have a dad that drops me off" she said

"Harley I know your dad he's pretty cool" Jax said

"Is he?! Does he like bikes like my mom says?" She asked getting excited. Clearly Sam told her about him

"Yup and you look just like your dad" he said

"Good!" She said then she looked at Sam and then looked at Jax "Wait a second" Harley said as she ran to her room and grabbed a picture off her dresser and ran back to the kitchen

"You are my Dad!" Harley said showing Jax a picture of himself and Sam back when they were in high school

"God I havent seen that picture in years, but yes Harley I am your dad" Jax said kneeling down to Harley's level

"Yay I knew you would find me someday!" Harley said as she threw her arms around Jax's neck

After they had dropped Harley off at daycare they drove around town silently "You need to come back to Charming" Jax said as he drove

"Jax it isn't that easy, he s going to find me" Sam said looking out of the window

"No he isn't, I can't protect you 3000 miles away your coming back end of discussion" Jax said

Sam sunk into her seat and sat in silence.

"I have to be back the day after tomorrow so we need to start packing" Jax said

"And where are we supposed to live? " she asked

"I'm calling gemma she will get us a place" Jax said pulling out a burner and dialing Gemma's number

"Jax where are you?" Gemma asked

"I'm with Sam I need you to find us a house and I'll pay you back when we get there need it for the day after tomorrow and you need to set up a little kids room for a girl" Jax said

"She had the kid? " Gemma asked now knowing why she took off

"Just do it I'll talk to you when I get back love you" Jax said hanging up the phone.

Sam sighed "babe it's going to be fine." Jax said as he laced his fingers with hers

They drove back to Sam's house and started packing Sam was really quiet and wasn't talking

"Babe look at me" Jax said sitting in front of her

"I could of avoided all of this if I stayed" Sam said as tears formed in her eyes

"Yes but its ok babe I forgive you I love you Sam" he said kissing her lightly

"I love you too Jax" she said kissing him back

"I need to get a job when I get back to Charming" Sam said causing Jax to laugh

"For what" he said

"I need to pay my way Jax I can't live off nothing" Sam said.

Jax laughed some more "Babe I'm your husband you don't needd to work. How would it look the prince of charming making the princess of charming work?" Jax said cupping her face

"What am I supposed to do all day?" Sam asked looking into Jax's eyes

"Be my old lady" Jax smiled

Memories flooded back to her the fun times and the bad. she sat on his lap and pressed her lips against Jax's neck Jax began kissing her neck and biting, letting out a small moan he pulled her shirt over her head kissing her chest lightly. Running her fingers through his hair he brought his head back up to hers she took his shirt off. A loud smash broke them from eachother. Jax instantly took her to the ground not knowing what just came through the window. He looked all over her body to make sure she didn't get hurt. Then that's when she saw it. The same brick. The one that always came through the window when he found her.

"Jax we need to leave now. " she said putting her shirt on Jax picked the brick up and there was a note

'Don't think about leaving again I'll find you and slit your throat. Your mine'

"Sam who is this man?" Jax asked as Sam shook her head No

"Samantha you need to tell me who he is we have charters all over that can take care of this " Jax said

"Jax you don't want to mess with him" Sam said

"I'm going to ask you one more time who is he" Jax said

"Richard Brown he is a ATF agent" Sam said looking down

"Let's go. Were going to get Harley and leaving tonight " Jax said getting his shoes on

"Jax he's going to find me and kill me" Sam said

"Are you joking me right now? I don't care who he is. He will NOT hurt you ever again now get in the damn car" Jax said as they ran out to the car

"We can't not that one. We need to take the one in the garage" Sam said walking towards the garage

"You really hid from him didn't you?" Jax asked as Sam opened the garage door

"He almost killed me once already with that brick" she said pointing to the very brick Jax was holding he examined it and saw there was dried blood on it. Jax took the brick into the kitchen and wrote a note back to this guy

'Find her again and your throat will be split'

Jax placed the brick on the steps as Sam handed Jax the keys and took his burner and called the airport and booked the flight. Sam's phone started to ring

"Mrs. Sam We have a gentleman here trying to pick up Harley he says his name is Jackson Teller is that your husband can we release her to him" The receptionist asked

"NO! Do not allow him to take her I will be there in a min" Sam said hanging up "Jax drive faster he's there trying to take Harley " Sam screamed

Jax stepped on the gas racing to the daycare. Barely able to throw the car in park as Sam and Jax got out of the moving vehicle they ran into the daycare to see Richard standing there.

"Ah there's my precious girl" he said trying to take her hand.

"Don't do it bro I'll break you into a thousand pieces" Jax said stepping in between them "Sam go get Harley and take her to the car" Jax said as his eyes never leaving the atf agent

"Ah Jackson teller so nice to finally meet you. Didnt think I'd ever see you come to the rescue" Richard said

"You don't know me. One thing we do is stick by family and those girls are my family not yours. Stay away from them or you'll be dead" Jax said.

"Are you threatening a atf agent? That's breaking the law" Richard smiled

"No I'm threatening you. Leave them alone this is your last warning" Jacx said as he walked out the door following Sam.

"I'll be seeing you soon sweetheart" Richard said.Sam buckled Harley into her seat. And gave her a kiss on the head

"Momma, daddy where are we going?" Harley asked looing at both of her parents

"We are leaving Harley off to a new adventure" Sam smiled as Harley started to whine "I don't wanna move again"

"Baby girl your gonna love the new house you'll have tons of family you have a grandma and a bunch of uncles and a few cousins" Jax said looking into the mirror at her

"Promise?" Harley asked giving Jax puppy dog eyes

"Promise darlin" he said. as Sam got into the passanger seat and drove away

Jax drove quickly to the airport so they wouldn't miss their flight, once everyone was settled on the plane and Harley fell asleep Jax took Sam's hand in his and kissed her knuckles

"Everything will be okay babe I promise" Jax whispered

"I hope so Jax, I saw is eyes i knew what they meant, if he finds me he is going to kill me" Sam said

"He isnt going to hurt you ever again, you are going to be safe and we are going to continue to live our lives the way were supposed to four years ago" Jax smiled
